I'm in an exceptionally good mood today. Don't know why though but I'm lovin it! :D The last three days have been pretty eventful, so I guess I shall just recap...
On Wednesday, I put my first aid skills to good use after a loooong time. Basically, after lunch time, my classmates and I had a free period so we stayed in the canteen to slack. At the same time, there was this guy (I won't mention names here) who was playing 'Phantom of the Opera' on the piano. And he was playing it very loud for over an hour. We were actually quite irritated by him. Suddenly during the climax of the song, we heard a loud sound. When we looked over, we saw that the guy had collapsed and he was lying between the piano and the chair. So my friend and I, being St John members, rushed to help. Had alot of help from the Chinese Dance guys, who apparently, are the only manly guys around. Haha. But they were quite funny but won't elaborate it here 'cause even if I explain it, the effect won't be as hilarious. ANYWAY, just found it very freaky. My friend said maybe he got possessed by the phantom or something. I mean he was like playing the freaking song with such 'passion', maybe he really did think himself as the phantom or something. Damn drama lah. But he was fine lah. I think he had only had a seizure attack. The next day, he was up and about and playing the piano again :X
After school that day, had Malay Dance meeting where the previous EXCO members gave speeches about their roles and what is required for their position. Then, we each got a nomination form where we had to nominate someone for each position. Honestly, I would really like an EXCO position 'cause I really want to take on the responsibility but chances are really really slim. So I won't get my hopes up too much.
Nothing much happened on Thursday or today either. Haha. Ok. So the past three days haven't exactly been very eventful with the exception of Wednesday. Oh and I've gotten back more CT results. So far, I got a B for H1 Math, U for Econs and S for Eng Lit. Happy for Math, expected for Econs and disappointed for Lit - I've never failed Lit before and I really like Lit okay ): Still waiting for GP and History. But I'm not getting my hopes up. I guess I really need to buck up for Promos.
With all that I said, I really wonder why I'm in such a good mood today. Could be because I actually finished early today and slept the whole afternoon. Haha.
And below are some pictures from IRIR on Tuesday. By the way, SHIRIN, the full name of the competitions is ‘Inter-Racial Inter-Religious Music and Dance Competition 2008’. Haha. And if we get first, we will get to perform on the actual night in August, which we want to avoid. But since we need the money, we’re hoping for second :DD
