Went to visit some of teachers in BP after the celebrations ended. But we reached at 11plus and most of the teachers went back already. So couldn't really meet most of them but it's ok 'cos I still got to meet with my dearest friends whom I missed oh so much. Even saw my ex-crush (GX!). Haha. Really really miss being in BP - especially my schoolmates, seniors and my friends!! And we were asking if we could help with the moving to the new campus, maybe for CIP hours?? Haha. I think I would say that my best schooling years so far are definitely in BP (: And I would do anything to relive those bittersweet memories again :DDD

After that, we went to Lot One to eat 'cos we were all dying of hunger. But everywhere was full with hungry students so we had to wait damnnnn long before we finally found seats at Food Republic. Haha. It was really nice seeing them all and I can't wait to see them all again. Must organise outings!! Hari Raya is coming so must go jalan raye together!! And then must also organise St John outing!! And also 6I outing 'cos this year we didn't go back to SLPS!! Hehe. But all of these AFTER Promos which is only 18 days away!! YIKES. Ok Lissya, must make full use of this holidays to turn into an 'alpha mugger' in the words of Nina. Heheeee.

I'm currently watching the closing ceremony for Olympics while doing my homework. Well actually, I'm watching the closing ceremony more than doing my homework. Not exactly a good sign, considering I only have a freaking 23 more days till Promos. Ah whatever. Olympics won't be around for another four more years, so must enjoy every last bit of it. Haha. No more record-breaking Phelps and Bolt for another four years ): I'm gonna miss the Olympics 'cos now I won't have a good reason for being distracted from starting my revisions. Haha. RAIN IS ON TV!! *squeals with delight*

I've been busy this weekend so you can't really blame me for still not starting my revisions. I really wanted to but time doesn't allow it - REALLY! Anyway, the reason for me being busy is because yet another of my cousins just got married. So, yesterday was the nikah. I didn't get to go for the actual nikah 'cos my siblings had classes and my tuition was pushed forward a day earlier. But we did go over after all our classes and whatnot had ended. It's nice to see all my cuzzies (: Today was the sanding and my cousins and I are kendarats again. I really hate being kendarat 'cos it's just uber tiring. But today was not that bad, we slacked off a lot since the other party was doing most of the job. Yet, I still feel tired. Must be the weather. Oh and there was popcorn! You know like those popcorn machine stands at funfairs? Haha. Quite interesting actually and I took like i don't know how many packets of popcorn. Next time, at my wedding, I want candy floss! Haha. And I just realised that out of  all the weddings I've been to for the past 2-3 months where the pengantin is my close relative, all of them are guys! And the next few weddings to come will also be all on the guy's side 'cos all my cousins who are eligible bachelors/bachelorettes are all guys still. Haha.

And referring to my opening  statement, I am so so disappointed 'cos I didn't get to see CK ): I was hoping that it would be the same wedding and catering company as the previous wedding where I met my dear CK and then maybe, I might get a chance to see him if we're meant to be or something. Unfortunately, it wasn't. I guess takde jodoh lah. Haish. Broken hearts are indeed caused by unspoken words. If only I had gotten his number or at least his name. Even though I did expect that I wouldn't see CK, I had much hopes. I still have my fingers crossed but maybe it's time for me to move on and get another crush. Haha.

I would like to wish happy birthday to another amazing olympian - Usain Bolt, who turns 22 today. Lightning BOLT has struck twice. Everyone said he couldn't do it, even Michael Johnson, but he did it - he became the first man to break both the 100m and 200m world records. Congrats to him! I really enjoy seeing him run, he's like a human version of a cheetah. Haha. Although he does seem to come off as a bit cocky and a show off, I think he has every right to do so. I mean no one can blame him for being so amazingly great right? And the disqualifications of both the silver and bronze medalists were quite unexpected, especially the disqualification of the silver medalist 'cos I really didn't notice him stepping out of his lane. The sprinters who came in 4th and 5th are seriously lucky bastards. Heh. And speaking of amazing olympians, I was watching an interview with Phelps and he said that the next olympics will be his last, after that, it's time for him to hang up his suit and retire. Aww. That means I must watch the next olympics no matter what. Haha.

In other news, on my way home from school today, I was sitting behind this couple in the bus, who were very lovey-dovey but not in the they-totally-turn-me-off kind of way. They seemed like a really sweet couple. And this reminded me of something I said last year. I remember saying that I will find a boyfriend after the end of o levels, and though I was half-joking, I guess there is some truth in it. It's been like 8 months since I said that and I'm still miserably single. Haish. I miss the feeling of loving someone and being loved back. I miss having a special guy to call your own. Being single is nice but it gets a bit lonely sometimes. Of course, I'm not looking for just any guy. I'm not that desperate. I still have standards. Haha. In the words of Paula Deanda:

Haha. And in case you're wondering why I'm blogging when I just did it yesterday (since it's so unlike me) is because I'm attempting to do PW and Econs VA on my laptop and I get distracted very very easily. LOL. Ok, I know I need to focus. So I shall be hardworking now so that I can sleep early for once and by early, I mean 12 plus (;

I am dead tired today. Today was as dull and boring as ever, with the exception of SEA History tutorial and the lizard incident. Somehow, I have an eye for spotting lizards even if they're like damn tiny and look like sticks. So the story goes something like this... We went into the class and sat down (like duh right?). Then I noticed this small brown thing on the floor and it was like moving. But it looked like a stick or something, and I thought the wind was blowing it, that's why it was moving. Then I asked YF if it was a lizard, and she said it wasn't. Then suddenly the thing moved again and it was most definitely a lizard - a small, dying, thin lizard that's stuck to the ground. But it was so disgusting and was wriggling away. So me, YF and ZX screamed and hopped onto our seats/tables. And the teacher in the other class actually came in to ask what's wrong. Haha. In the end, JM picked it up (eew!) and threw it away. It was superbly gross ok. I HATE LIZARDS! But yeah, that's what you get when your class is all girls. Haha.

27 more days to Promos. Haha. I must keep reminding myself to let it in sink in. Schedule for Promos is out and I'm relieved that my last paper is on 24 Sept. It doesn't clash with raya! Haha.

We were the best of friends and then, we made a big mistake - we fell in love. Now, it's like we were never even friends before. And it breaks my heart to see us so apart. We both did agree as lovers and I thought maybe we'd be better off as friends. But now I don't know what to think anymore. I just know that every time I see you with her, it still hurts so damn much. 'Cos I know that if I was just a bit more selfish, it would still be me who is by your side. But I knew that your heart just wasn't in it anymore, so I had to walk away. What else could I do? And even though it's been more than a year, I still can't completely get over you. I never thought I would be replaced so soon. And I guess now that you're with her, it'll never be the way it used to be. Sometimes I wish I could turn back time. I wish we were still friends at the very least. I wish I hadn't let you go. And I still dream about us sometimes. I still shed a tear for you every once in a while. Tell me how do I get over you when I see you more often than I really want to. So yeah, I have one more month till the start of promos and I am proud to say that I have sort of in some way started on revision. Haha. Well not really, but I really am trying my best to start - REALLY! And I seriously should be panicking but the stress hasn't really sunk in yet. I hope it sinks in soon before it's too late 'cos I work best under pressure. Ahh! I hate school (for all the exams and homework and bullshit stuff lah). And that is a serious understatement.

I guess part of the reason why I haven't been able to start on revisions is because of the Olympics, I admit that I'm not a sporty person and wouldn't give a shit for the Olympics but somehow I have caught the Olympics fever. And yeah, congrats to Usain Bolt for being the fastest man in the world. The fact that he already celebrated even before he crossed the finishing line (I could have sworn he slowed down a bit) and still managed to break the world record is fucking awesome lah. And he didn't even know he broke the record until he did his victory lap. Funny sia. Plus, I love his shoes. Golden shoes to match his new gold medal. Haha.

And today, Michael Phelps won his eighth gold (: I think he's fucking amazing. He broke Spitz's record of seven gold medals won at a single Olympics with his own eight. With 14 gold medals, he holds the record of the most gold medals won by any Olympian. And with 16 medals spanning two Olympics, he has set a new record for the total number of medals won by a male Olympian. He also ranks second in total career Olympic medals, after gymnast Latynina, who won a total of 18 medals spanning three Olympics. Plus, he currently holds seven world records in swimming. And he's only 23. If that's not enough reasons to love him, I don't know what is. Ahh! And he's damn hot too. Gosh. I melt every time I see his hot bod. I'll miss watching him swim again. Haha. Phelps is LOVE! <3

Well, other than the distraction of Phelps mania and the whole Oympics, my life's been pretty stagnant. I really can't wait for Promos to be over. Hopefully, then, I can regain my life or what's left of it. I want to be able to go shopping, watch a movie or anything without feeling the guilt that I should be studying ): But this coming weekend is something for me to look forward to. If you've been reading my previous posts, you'd know why. Heeehee.

Some highlights of the week:

Thursday marked the last Malay Dance practice until the end of exams. Many of us didn't expect it 'cause it was quite sudden. I guess I'll miss dancing for about two months but I'm really grateful for this. At least I now have more time to catch up on schoolwork and rest too. And unfortunately for me, my last practice was marked with an injured ankle ):

Friday was National Day eve. Honestly, the celebrations were kinda shitty. The sound system was so screwed lah. So couldn't hear a thing from the concert. Plus the commander for that day really sucked - his drills and commanding. Such a disgrace to UG people. And Ba Maw in his uniform was really an unbearable sight. Haha. And they made us sit on the WET parade square for the concert. Why can't they have it in the hall or something?! Well despite all that shit, I did have fun with my dear dear classmates. We occupied ourselves by blowing lotsa bubbles, camwhoring and singing national day songs! I also managed to steal a lot of poppers and giving everyone a shock and probably, a deaf ear. Hahaha. I LOVE A01!! :D

Celebrations in school ended at around 10am. So I had plenty of time to go home, rest, change and go out again to meet Huda, Shirin and Nina. Went to Sun Plaza to watch a movie 'cause Nina had a package thing. Four tickets plus two drinks plus popcorn plus nachos for $43. That's quite worth right? Sad thing was that it can only be used at Eng Wah Cinema which is seriously very run down. And we ended up watching 'Journey To The Center Of The Earth' after much debating. It turned out much better than expected even though I still ended up sleeping at some parts. Haha. After that, went back to Causeway Point for late lunch/early dinner. It was nice seeing them but we've never had a complete SN4 outing before. We must aim for one after Promos (:

Yesterday, attended my relative's wedding. But I don't really know him well 'cause I rarely see him during family events. Actually, to think of it, I'm not even related to him. He is my mum's cousin's step-son. There is no relation right? So its ok to have a little crush on his younger brother right right?? Hehe.

After the wedding, went to Vivo City. Bought meself a new pair of shoes (which I'm sharing with my sis) and a wallet at Adidas. I am sooo lovin' it (: While we were at Vivo, bumped into my dad's friend and family. So we decided to go to the railway station to sit down and talk and eat. Damn. He looks as good as ever. This is the same family that we often go holidays with. The same family whom I have known since virtually the day I was born. The same family whose eldest son I still have leftover feelings for. Sighs.

Last but not least, when I was having lunch at Banquet today, I saw an ex-eyecandy of mine. Let's just call him GX lah. The last time I saw him was like speech day last year. I had a teeny weeny crush on him when I was in sec three I think and he was in sec four at that time. We were both in the CCA Council and somehow I got a hold of his number. Haha. He's really a nice guy and also, damn cute. But yeah, it was just those kind of small short-lived crushes. I was just bloody shocked when I saw him just now. Who would have thought I would be able to see him again? He was with his gf, and if I'm not wrong she is M, same batch as me in BP. And I think someone told me that they used to go out then they broke up. And now they're back together? That is inspiration for me (refer to previous paragraph). Haha.

And now, I'm sitting in front of my notebook supposedly doing my history va. Haha.

ANYWAY, yesterday I put aside some of precious studying time (haha!) to meet up with my dearest Zimah. I haven't seen her in ages and I've missed her so so much. So it was nice being able to meet up and just catch up with each other. Too bad Fiqah couldn't make it 'cause I miss her just as much too! ): We went to AMK Hub to have lunch and catch a movie. Decided to watch 'The Mummy 3: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor'. It was quite nice but it wasn't that great. The first two movies were much better, in my opinion. And we had lunch at North Point. Why North Point and not AMK Hub? 'Cause we wanted to eat at KFC and there wasn't one at AMK Hub or at least, we couldn't find one. Haha. Then we did some window shopping at AMK Hub. I really really wanted to buy alot of the stuff that I saw but I was on the verge of being broke. So, I must save up!! Besides, after much thought, we decided that even if we were to buy now, we most probably can't or should not wear them till like after Promos. So must resist the temptation. Hahaha. I had a great time with Zimah. LOVE YA LOADS DEAR!! :D

I can't wait for 24 August. 'Cause it could be a chance for me to see if we're fated to meet again. And if we do, I will definitely get his number and his name! I really do hope I get to see him again. And yes, I'm talking about CK. Haha.

There's nothing more for me to say. And I should be getting back to doing my second draft of EOM. You know, saying that I hate PW is really a serious understatement. And I have the CAAL poster and report to do too. I want to resign being CAAL rep!! ): Oh, before I forget, we FINALLY got our History hoodie on Friday and it's damn nice.
