yesterday, at approximately 10.15pm, Aristal 2008 finally ended. after months and months of trainings, it's finally over (:
the months building up towards Aristal itself was definitely tiring. especially the week right before Aristal in which trainings were very intense and we had to stay back in school till 8 plus at night. it even got to the point of frustration and i really couldn't wait for all of it to be over. but you can't blame me, i was damn tired lah. all of my energy seemed to be drained out of me ):
the day of Aristal, before the concert actually started, was really exciting i must say. i love the part where all of us will do our make up and hair and get into costumes and then, CAMWHORE. haha.
and then, the concert itself. the wait backstage was nerve-wrecking, as usual lah. but i honestly think we put on a great show - not just us malay dancers but all the dancers as a whole. of course, like any performances, there would be some minor cock-ups here and there but hey, we're not perfect and we're not trying to be. the most important thing was that we had fun and enjoyed ourselves - which i most definitely did (: i feel a huge relief that it's over but satisfied of our performance. i almost wished that the night wouldn't end. it's my first performance since july last year. and i really missed performing ): also, it's my first performance in NJC and i love it all the same. just hope TTC was in the audience watching me dance. LOL. oh and thanks to my dear classmates for coming and for the BIG bouquet of flowers :DD
now that Aristal is over, i can finally get some rest and hopefully, catch up on my schoolwork. and i did achieve one of the two aims. i slept from 1.30am all the way to 12pm today. haha. i feel like such a pig.

he's damn lucky lah. he got a psp for his bdae. hmph! but who am i to complain cuz i finally got my MACBOOK! and i'm so lovin it right now ((:
ok. i'm feeling waayyy tired now. had dance from 3 to abt 8.30 - nonstop. but at least umbrella dance is finally complete. haha. that's a huge relief since aristal is like only 4 days away! gosh. reached home at 9plus and celebrated my bro's bdae. had cookies and cream ice cream cake from swensens. superbly delish (: a great way to cool down after a tiring session of dance.
i'll be super busy this week with dance practice every freakin day. so much for holidays huh? must get up early tmr. dance starting at 7.45am and probably ending at 7plus in the evening. i really need some motivation to help me survive this week!!! aaahhh!

HAPPY 17th BIRTHDAY TO ME!! :D
omg. i feel so old seh. haha. i'm like 17 already. sheesh. time flies by too damn fast. and here i am blogging during the last few minutes of my bdae.
my birthday started off not so well actually. i was in a bad mood for no reason. must be pms or smth. haha. but all the bdae msg tt i got was really nice and heartening. and almost everyone was wishing me luck with ttc. lol. but THANKS to all those who wished me. i appreciate it alot (:
in the late afternoon, went to IMM and had my early birthday dinner or late lunch at swensens. ate my heart out and i still feel full now. did some shopping after that but we were too bloated to buy anything. haha.
after that, left IMM and went to a bank near Jurong East mrt cuz my dad needed to do some bank stuff. while we turning into the carpark, guess who i saw?! yup, you guessed it - i saw ttc and his brother crossing the road right in front of our car. at first, i couldnt believe it. i mean what are the odds right? but its definitely him cuz of his unmistakable bag. haha. i was in shock and happy at the same time. coincidence? i choose to think that it's FATE. haha. this is definitely the BEST bdae present! :DD
ok. after all that madness, went home. my cousins came over for awhile to celebrate my bdae and had the usual bdae celebrations stuff. had cake from Secret Recipe - CHOCOLATE INDULGENCE BABY! 7 layers of heavenly chocolate. so sinful yet so right. haha. loved all my presents: my cousins gave me stuff from the body shop, a personalised bracelet, a ring and $50. my sis gave me three CDs which i asked for - Jonas Brothers, Rihanna and Shayne Ward - but she didn't take off the price tags so i found out that two of the CDs were actually on sale. haha. my nyai gave me a storybook which i chose and $50. my classmates gave me an advanced bdae present which were accessories. my parents gave me a necklace, humour tees from Outfitter Girls and a soon to come MACBOOK! well actually, they especially decided to upgrade our internet plan so that i could get the free MacBook. so i'll be getting it in one to two weeks time. *beams with delight* mama & bapak, i love you! and THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR THE GIFTS :DD

had a great day today. firstly since it's off-in-lieu because of college day so there was no school, for most of us lah. i know some pitiful souls who have cca trainings or whatsoever. i feel your pain. *puts hand to heart* LOL.
ok. so met up with safa, rasyiqah, dinah, dhiya, haslina and hazi (basically all the malay girls in JI lah) at Vivo. supposed to have an MLDDS lunch cum bonding session. but none of the guys could make it, or rather didn't want to come. so it turned out to be an all-girl session which was fun lah. having guys around will just spoil the fun. haha.
had lunch at the Chicken Rice Shop. yumm :D then window-shopped abit. worked up an appetite and went to Ben&Jerry's for ICE CREAM. loves! then, went to the rooftop to eat our delish ice-cream and had girl talk and of course, CAMWHORED. haha. after that, window-shopped some more and went home. it's nice to unwind and relax for once before sch starts again tmr. haish.
supposed to be teaching my brother MALAY for his exam tmr but he's down with fever. so he's been sleeping since i reached home. so poor thing ): but at least it gives me time to slack, oops i mean finish my hmwk. haha.

yay! i changed my blogskin. isnt it prettaye? hehe. i loovvee the colour combi - pink and grey. actually, it reminds me of my Converse shoes. LOL.
today has been a slow moving and slack day. did nothing but rot at home, attempting to finish my hmwk. but i did finish econs and math (: yay me! anyway, let's rewind to yesterday shall we? it was a much more eventful day than today.
yesterday was COLLEGE DAY. it was a tiring and unlucky day for me but i had FUN. so i reached sch at 3 to help out my classmates in preparing for the food fair. but unluckily, as i was opening the tub of nata-de-coco, the juice or sugar water or whatever spilled all over my skirt. so my skirt was all wet plus sticky cuz it was sweet. to top it off, i had to attend the opening ceremony of NGEE ANN KONGSI PERFORMING ARTS THEATRE aka LT5. it was stupid. basically, the GOH came. watched a super short video. presented the plaque or smth. and chinese dance performed. like wth rite? it's a PERFROMING ARTS THEATRE and there was only ONE performance there. the rest were at the hall. damn pathetic la.
ok. after that, went to join my class for the food fair. we sold drinks. basically our menu was ribena, sprite and a topping of nata-de-coco, and you could have a combination of any of these. business was damn good la. we were doing too well that we ran out of sprite and big cups. so had to send two of us to buy more. even after that, we still ended up running out of cups again. haha. well we earned abt $198 and our profits were abt $100. not bad right? but i did say that it was an unlucky day for me. well after the nata-de-coco juice dried, guess what. ribena spilled on me. it was damn sticky k. so i had ribena and nata-de-coco on my skirt and shoes for the day. someone said i was worth $0.80. haha. i'm cheap :D
went home and was dead beat. but at least tmr is off-in-lieu. no school! haha. i'm so lovin it (: and my mum will be off to US for a week. i'll miss her ): and she wont be back till after mothers' day. first time she'll be away for so long. the house will go topsy-turvy - i'm very sure of this. LOL.
