HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY!
before i actually talk about teachers' day, i want to acknowledge the exit of the CUTEST contestant of Singapore Idol - Joakim Gomez. though all been's said and done, i'm gonna miss him. he's damn cute. and at least he had a dignified exit - he went home when he was starting to improve. all the best to him. ((:
okay, teachers' day. enjoyed the concert. very entertaining. then, had food delight. i think i ate too much chocolate and junk food. started an ice fight craze. so fun and cold. haha.
after that, me, mas, ghan yean, nurul, kenneth, aziz, and hanif went back to Si Ling where we met Mrs Siva (whom i found out used to be in St John), Cikgu Ros and Mrs Suhaimi. met with my 6I classmates. i missed them so much. planning to have a gathering cuz so many of them weren't there just now. i'm almost broke now after blanja-ing mas, hanif, ghan yean, kang rui, bao rong and yong sheng at McDonalds. but yeah, had fun. i miss my primary school life especially my friends and the guys who used to pester me all the time. )):
well, that's it for now. i bid all of you farewell and may you have a pleasant September holidays. cheers. =)

been an uber hectic day. had three tests, teachers piling us with loads and loads of homework, and so much st john stuff to do. haish. my brain feels like exploding. got my progress report yesterday. not too bad. passed amaths. failed physics. why can't i ever pass both at the same time?! well, at least my L1R5 is 10. not bad lah but to think that it's only CA2. i know that i have very high expectations of myself but do i have a choice when i live in a house when results matter the most. haish.
on a happier note, we presented Mr Roy Ng with his teacher's day gift today - a remote controlled car. there were so many 'bloopers'. haha. first, we charged the battery at the front of the class. so, obviously, he noticed it and initially wanted to confiscate it. then, when Kelvin was 'driving' the car from the back to the front of the class, the car met with many, many accidents. damn hilarious. finally, the car reached him and we sang a teachers' day song. all that's well ends well.
enough said. no lessons tmr! yeah. oh, be sure to vote for Hady Mirza. ((:

life's been so hectic these days. i'm struggling to juggle malay dance, st john, studies, piano lessons and my own personal life. to think that i'm only fifteen. st john is taking up far too much of time, causing me sleepless nights. i always end up dozing off during lessons the next day. my studies are very much affected. i've neglected malay dance - not attending practices and missing the HCI exchange programme- and also, my personal life. i really haven't had much time for myself nor the people dear to me. i'm overwhelmed with stress but i'm not the type who says no or just gives up. and this side of me is really killing me.
well, on the bright side, since i'm typing now, i'm actually quite free - sort of. took a much deserved break today. went out with him. had fun. for once, i actually relaxed.
hmm. enough said. can't stay unfocused for too long. ciao.

i'm STRESSED. really. i'm barely a quarter done with my Amath hmwk and i havent even touched physics. of course, i can always choose not to do. that's what everybody else would do right? but i want to be a good girl and finish up all her hmwk. heh. now, i'm doing up my teaching materials for first aid lesson. so sian. sigh.
today, had tuition. then, my cousin had a kenduri for his daughter. so happy2 went. talked alot with my dear cousins. played with the cute babies. and even went ga-ga over my cousin's wife's younger bro. so handsome and nice and funny and really great with the little kids. haha. too bad he's taken and so am i. lol. after that, went grocery shopping with my family at IMM and now, here i am, happily typing away my day's events.
tomorrow back to school. haish. i'm so not in the mood for studying anymore.

Just came back from OBS and i know many, many people miss me. heh. but i absolutely miss OBS and BATTUTA!!! i LOVE you guys very the much!!!
1st day
dreaded obs. when i look back, i can't imagine why. heh. got to know my watch name - battuta. weird name huh? personally, find it cute. =) anyways, my watch instructor is Nafizah aka Naf! hearts her many2. lol. did alot of store checking blabla and then, went kayaking. i was so called an expert just because i had gone for the one-star course last year. dots. and when asked questions, i was like very the blur lah. so paiseh. lucky, there was a dragon boat guy in my watch. so, he answered them for me. lol. but then, i had to go kayaking solo since i'm an expert and that guy did not want to go solo. haish. but had fun anyways. demonstrated capsize drill first and then, did abit of paddling near the shore. nothing much. then, pitched tents and cooked dinner. bathing time was nice and was not in a rush at all. sleeping was shiok though the tents were not very comfy.
2nd day
first thing in the morning, continued our kayaking session. paddled to the tip of Pulau Ubin, which wasn't very far. did rescue drills in the middle of the sea. abit scary but had loads of fun. then, it rained. so, we just did abit of belaying which was so-so only lah. at night, had the sea-expedition briefing with Mobile A (Amundsen, Armstrong, Battuta, Ching Ho). then, went to sleep.
3rd day
everything was rushed yet we were still late for our sea-ex. set off at about 8am and kayaked all the way around Pulau Ubin. my partner was Forester. he's ok as a partner but sometimes, he's just so damn irritating and abit inconsiderate when it came to paddling. was damn tired lah. then, we arrived at our destination (one ulu campsite whose name i forgot) at around 6pm. we had to pitch our tents and cook dinner in the dark. we also couldn't bathe as the toilets were unbearable and it was too late. plus, there were many wild dogs.
4th day
woke up with muscle aches yet we still had to trek all the way back to camp 2. we had to carry huge and heavy bags plus our jerry cans plus the tent bags for a whopping 4h. out of the 4 watches in Mobile A, only 1 watch (Armstrong) managed to go to all 6 checkpoints which was why they arrived last. the other 3, including us, took the shortcut back. heh. then, my watch had some height activity - Power Bar - which looked super difficult. too bad i couldn't participate 'cause i had really painful abrasions in my inner thighs from the previous night and made worse because of the trek, so i couldnt even wear the harness without crying. at night, did some store cleaning.
5th day
after washing up early in the moring, did more store cleaning and we actually had fun, playing with the water and all that. luckily, we did not lose any equipments. then, we had the Jetty Jump. initially, i was nervous but it was really quite an adrenaline rush when you are in mid air and approaching the sea. very fun. we were also supposed to shout our commitments before we jump and guess what, Wei Liang shouted a line from the SJAB pledge. so original. heh. then, it was time for goodbyes and i was on the verge of crying. i'm gonna miss Naf and of course, my watch and the times we had over the 5 days. i'll miss Mas, Nadirah, Wei Liang (aka Lobster), Forester, Shan Feng, Mei Jin, Yu Mei, Ai Ru, Hui Hui, Rowena, Esther, Wee Hao, Wei Jian and Tian Fong. though, i'll see them in school, some everyday, it definitely won't be the same as it was during OBS. sobs.
that about sums it all for my wonderful stay at OBS. pity those who couldn't go 'cause i know most of those who went had an unforgettable time. (=

OBS tomorrow! omg. i can't believe it's finallly here. i'm so excited yet nervous, exhilirated yet lazy, thrilled yet afraid? i'm sick to the stomach thinking about it. i have no idea what's in store for us. i just hope we have proper toilets to bathe! heh. and comfy sleeping conditions and of course, NO LIZARDS!!! blergh. haish, but i'm gonna miss my bed, air-con, toilet, tv, nice food etc. but most impt, i'll miss HIM and hussein!!! sigh.
well, i'll just get it over and done with. looking on the bright side, the people in my watch are fine. so, that's it for now. see you all on friday! and don't forget to miss me!!! <3

just some quick upadates...
today was such a fabulous day - unspeakable. first, i got my english paper back. and unexpectedly, i scored 18.5/25! yay me. heh. then, had emath. my results was so-so - 31.5/40. hmm. not bad lah. then, physics slacked. after recess, slacked more. then, had OBS briefing. i'm in watch 14! yay! i'm with nad, mas, wei liang, mei jin and shawn! i'm definitely looking forward to OBS now. hehe.
after that, rushed like mad to attend the briefing. just grabbed my amath paper. i didn't know there was hmwk?!? i didn't bring home my ex. book. clever me. heh. but, i PASSED amath!!! *huge grin* for the first time! well, it's not that high. only 22/40 but nonetheless, i PASSED!!! ((:
then, had first aid re-exam. can't be bothered by it. same paper every year. then, went to accompany nina buy some stuff. and in the bus, he called and we talked. so now, we're fine. sorry for overreacting ytd.
tomorrow is flag day for St John. better donate if you see any SJAB members with donation tins!!! cheers. =)

just finished some homework due tomorrow. not in a very good mood today. argued with didi over some stupid stuff. haish. still kinda mad. the day started out well but i guess things happened and the rest of my day is ruined. eergh. where the hell is hussein when i need him?!
well, enough said. i better revise some first aid for my re-exam tomorrow... ciao!

HAPPY 41st BIRTHDAY, SINGAPORE!!!
national day today and i had to wake up at 5am in the morning 'cause we had public duty at keat hong. it rained and as usual, they blamed me for the rain. but hey, what can i say? i LOVE singapore. hehe. well, the public duty was crappy but at least we were released 2h earlier. then, had a meeting and off i went to had a nice day with my family.
just finshed watching the ndp parade on the tellie. nice. also watched singapore idol. not so nice. no one performed their full potential tonight, except maybe Hady! <3 haha. but we'll see tomorrow...
tomorrow's a school holiday. so, enjoy people! ((:

met him after my super long debrief at causeway. went home together and talked about all the things we've been missing these past few weeks. but everytime i meet him, it's the same old hussein that i know - always lecturing me about this and that. haha. missed those lectures actually. really glad we could catch up on things before my OBS.
NDP celebrations in school tomorrow! which means only one thing, school ends early. hehe. can't wait and do pray hard that it doesn't rain in the morning. oh yah, support 3T-onenano for cheering comp! i may not be a part of it but i'll always be cheering you guys on all the way!!! whee~
