hey pple, it's been a week since i last updated. as you all should already know, school has reopened and it's been tiring. not much homework - yet. but prelims are like slightly more than a month away. eew. i better start mugging now. i shall not procrastinate. haha. hopefully.
let's reminisce...
Monday
first day of school. dreaded it. did not do much. after school, checked the sec 1's uniform. very tiring. then, had dance. we're performing for speech day. it's at victoria theatre. so dumb lah cause it's 4pm - 7pm and we still have lessons before that.
Tuesday
another day at school. what do you expect? we studied lah. haha. after school, had sjab day rehearsal. it was fine except for the fact that it was supperr hot lah. perspiring like crazy. went home and polished boots while watching anugerah. and you know what? i ended up polising the same boot twice. haha. waste of energy only..
Wednesday
St John Day celebration. woke up super early and arrived to school supperr early also - 6.05am. it was so quiet and dark. i had to switch on all the lights on the way to the toilet. stupid lah. then, after standard procedures, the ceremony started. i think we did better than the rehearsals. just when i thought it was over, there were like 3 damn speeches and a briefing on the walk-a-jog. stood there like idiots. felt like dying. every year, during St John Day, it's like they purposely have long assemblies to torture us. last year was worse because we were together with NCC. so, it was like doubly long.
Today
had youth day celebration. and i must admit, that it's the WORST celebration ever! the walk-a-jog was a failure. only the enthu sec 1s actually ran lah. the upper sec were like just walking. it's a pointless 3km walk. luckily, i was doing public duty. we got to stand there and just watch everyone pass us by, pretending they're sick lah, going to faint lah, blabla. but i think i had more fun than the rest of the school. haha. then, went back to school. heard the lower sec singing in the hall. waited at the bball court with the upper sec. we thought we were going to the hall. good what..get to miss more lessons. but no, we had to go back to class to resume lessons. wth lah. the day was so boring i tell you.. and now, here i am blogging about the crappy youth day celebration my beloved school has organised..
Transformers is out today. planning to watch it during the long weekend. looks interesting. anyways, i really need the break. there's St John tmr. i dun wanna go but at least it's only until 4.15pm.. haish

hmm.. i love this song. and the video too. it's so touching yet true. and i can't help but feel tickled whenever i watch the video. Milo as a thug? with the tatoos? haha. funny lah. it's a far cry from the role he play in Heroes, which i must say that i'm officially hooked. haha.
anyways, this week has not been very eventful.

did nothing. just rot at home. but, while rotting, i finished my lit and chem. haha.

wanted to be rajin. so, went for Amath. but couldn't take it, so, left during the break. and now, i'm rotting at home. and i have yet to start on any other hmwk. haha.
well, 4 more days and it's back to school. and i've changed my mind. i want 'o' levels to come. get it over with. then, it's a long break. at least for the rest of the year. so, bring it on! haha.

this weekend has been FUN.
yesterday, went to Sentosa. it was raining but we decided to go ahead anyways. the only indoor place we could think of was Underwater World. my brother wanted to go, anyways. it has been AGES since i last been there. not much has changed. but there has been some interesting additions. after that, the rain was just a drizzle. so, we went to ride the luge and the skyride. fun, fun, fun! haha. the road was slippery but yah, had FUN. haha. but because of the renovations for the IR, there wasn't many places we could go. we couldn't even go to the beach cause of the rain. but still had fun.
today, went to watch Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer at Vivo. not bad. i give it 4 stars out of 5. i don't mind watching it again. cause Chris Evans is so HOT. haha. after that, went do abit of shopping. then, it was home sweet home. (:
just one more week of holidays and it's off to school - AGAIN. haish. i'm so dreading it lah. i don't wanna 'O' Levels to EVER come. :(

hmm. i really don't know what to blog about. just that another week of the holidays has come and gone. time really passes by fast. as usual, my homework is still barely touched. haha.
yesterday night, went to the night safari. cause my brother really wanted to go. and i'm like wth, just go lah. it's been a long time since i've been there. quite okay, i guess. we watched the animal show, which, truth being told, is kinda lame. but i like the animals. so cute! hehe. then, we went for the tram ride around the whole safari. too lazy to walk. haha. saw many animals. i must say that the night safari has improved alot. some of the animals were like free to roam. so fun. but i still prefer the zoo. i can see better. haha.
and i think he's back. haha. so random. but yah, i saw his parents' car in the carpark yesterday, when i came back from Amath remedial. haha. yeah! i hope i can see him soon. hehe. me and my crushes... (:

had Amath extra class today. reached school early but it was fine. cause if i had left my house a minute later, i wouldn't have met him in the lift. haha. he's so damn cute lah. haha. my mum and i was in the same lift with him, his brother and his parents. i guess they are going on a holiday cause they were carrying lots and lots of bags. that's just so sad cause that means that i wont be able to see him for awhile. wonder when he'll be back? haha. gosh, i think i'm really head over heels over him. im nuts. anyways, that put me in a good mood today. that's why i didn't fall asleep during the 3h long Amath class. haha. after Amath, went to settle some St John stuff with the sec1s. they finally have their complete full u. i can finally be at ease. ((:

today is sooo tiring lah. haha. woke up very, very early to go to my makcik's house. my cousin (on my dad's side) sanding today. didn't go his nikah yesterday. cuz my mum insisted that i go for my piano lessons since it's my 2nd last lesson. so wasted seh. anyways, reached the house at cck at 11+. we had breakfast at mac first. hehe. we were early. we are usually the late ones. first time seh. haha. waited till 12.30pm before going to the girl's house. spent the time playing with my niece, Nadra. so cute seh. and Hizal was laughing non-stop lah. he's always like that. but today, macam extra laughter. haha. i dont know if it was the nerves or what. but it was damn hilarious. it was as if everyone inhaled too much laughing gas. haha.
after that, went to the girl's house at teck whye. and i just realised that both houses are very near my sch - the old and new campus respectively. haha. didnt do much lah. stayed for about half and hour. then, went to geylang. went to this restaurant at kampung melayu to eat (guy's side). ate ALOT. haha. we had lots and lots of fun. took lots and lots of pictures. and we finally saw Haidi. haha. especially those of us who are younger. we have NEVER seen him before. imagine that. 16 years of being cousins and i've NEVER seen him before. haha. he is the pengantin's abang. supposedly, he's very pendiam and always stay in his room when hari raya. but he's nice. haha. yep, had LOTS of FUN. went off at about 5+.
now, here i am, blogging. my cousins on my mum's side stopped by just when we reached home. opened my belated bdae presents. and celebrated my makcik's bdae today. we watched Night at the Musuem. but half the time i couldnt hear anything cause my brother and cousins were sooo kecoh lah. haha. they were screaming their heads off.
to sum it up, i had ALOT of FUN today. but i'm also super TIRED. it doesnt help that the weather is so damn hot. but boohoos, there's st john tmr. followed by Amath remedials on tues and thurs to come. urg. i'm so very lazy!!!

today was the last day of ISP - FINALLY. haha. at least, for now, i can slack off abit before my Amath remedials start. i really2 dun wanna go. but yah, i made a promise to get at least a B for Amath. how can i ever achieve something that is so highly impossible for me? haish.
anyways, after ISP today, went to the airport with my mum, sis and bro. went to fetch my dad. he went to Indonesia for 2 weeks. after a loooong wait, went to eat and then, we were off to home. sadly, my dad is going off to Penang tmr - again. at least it's only for a day. i realised we can't survive without him around. for the past week, we had to manage going to the toilet in the dark with only a torchlight. because nobody knew how to change the lightbulb. haha. very pathetic right? LOL.
Ocean's Thirteen is coming out tmr. i wanna go watch, that is if i find the time lah, and also somebody to watch it with. hehe.

I really like this poem. everything the poet says is so true. it makes me realise that just about every Hollywood movie we watch is so cliched, predictable and unrealistic. and yet we love them so much. we watch the same happy endings all the time, in awe, convinced that it's so romantic. maybe it's because we all hope that our lives were just like in the movies. where happy endings are definite. and those we truly love will definitely love us back. where life is PERFECT. why, oh why, is the real world so complicated?
anyways, i have been feeling so sick for the whole of yesterday. and i'm finally feeling wayy better today. there's so much homework still untouched. would love to start on them but too lazy lahh. haha. maybe later. maybe. hehe. well, three more days of ISP. i can't wait for it to be over. haha. but then, i still have st john day rehearsal and amath lessons. haish. i still need a break.
