wow. just ended one and a half days of transformational leadership workshop. i guess i was wrong - the course was really more fun than what i had expected. also, i enjoyed it way more than the other one. but what i really liked about it was not just the fun games, or the very animated instructor, but the stronger bond that was built among members of the students' and CCA council. i mean, this course has allowed me to get to know people who i didn't even know once existed in the school (no offence! ^^). being in the CCA council isn't all that bad. plus, it gives you 3 extra points for leadership! haha.
"Out of sight, out of mind".
i've been thinking of the above phrase for quite some time. i've heard it plenty of times too. first was when one of my friend said it when asked about him leaving his girlfriend back in his home country. yah, i know it's mean. i also heard it on one of the episodes of Princess Hours, though i can't remember who said it and which episode it was. nonetheless, how would you feel if someone you loved believed in this? for me, it would definitely crush my heart into such fine pieces that if you tried to pick them up, they will just slip through your hand like flowing water. maybe i'm exaggerating a bit. but things like this really makes me wonder... and they said absence makes the heart grow fonder. i guess not - not for everyone.
enough said. till next time then.
ciao.
