yesterday was definitely one of the most saddest day of my life. as you all know, yesterday was the most-dreaded competition. haish. the results were very unsatisfactory.
first up was first aid: short case. we were the first team. it was a really good thing cause the judges have no expectations yet. the case was surprisingly easy. there was no cpr - which was kinda of a good thing cause i had mouth ulcers although i had been training hard for it. there was open fracture, nosebleed and heat exhaustion. i took the one with heat exhaustion and leg cramps. no offense, but his legs was damn hairy. i was very disgusted when i had to massage his legs. eww.
next was footdrill, supposedly our forte. things were going well at first. but something really unexpected happened. nadia's boots suddenly flung off. haha. it was hilarious. but of course, things went downhill after that incident. one more big mistake was the ke-kiri and ke-kanan pusing. i misheard the command and so, executed it wrongly. haish. and the judge was really sarcastic. i seriously cried in the waiting room.
last was home nursing. honestly, we were horrible. there was no need for tpr. so, our whole sequence went topsy-turvy. we also had a hard time searching for the medicine. haish. wasted a lot of time on that. we didnt get to complete bed-making and there was no time for nutritional talk. it was really disheartening.
the results were just terrible. out of all the 4 teams, only the nc team didn't get top 3 positions. they said we got 4th. haish. we really cried our hearts out. congrats to the other teams. you guys did BP proud...
well, let bygones be bygones. there's still next year. we have to train much harder. and like what he said, just take this as a learning chance. hehe. he really cheered me up yesterday... :))
tomorrow's the start of another misery - MYE!!! i am so stressed out. well, enough said. better continue to study...
ALL THE BEST FOR MYE! STUDY HARD PPLE! ;)
