ok since dear lizhu wants me to update, then i shall. haha.

well, some of you may know that i have a few new obsessions. lol. but let's get some things straight. my obsession on ttc has most definitely died down by alot. i can't deny the fact that he's good looking but other than that, there's really nothing more to it. ttc is purely an eyecandy (: and hbt is really nothing at all. i just think he has a nice body. haha. and i like guys who have that body type! it's just not right to have a crush on hbt!! and then there's tac. and i don't quite know where my feelings stand. it's such a weird and awkward crush, considering that superficially, he's not up to my standards. haha. it's like i get a rush whenever i see him but i want the feeling to go away quickly. well, it's only a crush. if it doesn't develop into anything, it will just go away right?

now that we have that sorted, let me talk about my week. basically, it's been normal. nothing special or anything. the cny holidays were just spent recuperating from the tiring week i had before that. and the rest of the week was pretty short. lessons in the morning and dance in the afternoon. and i won't go on about dance cos obviously everyone who reads my blog would know that despite the bruises, the muscle aches, the fatigue, the stress, i love my beloved malay dance group! (: so yeah another boring week for me, though not as tiring as the weeks before.

and today, after dance practice, i met up with my dearest and beloved sn4! i miss them like crazzzzyyyy! we celebrated arifah's belated birthday and though it was a simple meet up, i really had a great time cos being able to see all of them is really more than enough :D and yeah, after that, went to vivo with my family to get my f21 bag! *grins widely* to sum it all, it's been a tiring but great day!! (:

enough said. i think this post is really messy and all over the place, but it's probably cos i'm really really tired! i'll come back with a more organised post!!

P.S. note to self: don't get my hopes up with a guy who's not worthy of getting my hopes up. it's pathetic to still fall for a guy who keeps breaking my heart. walk away. i have to just walk away.

the world slows down
but my heart beats fast right now

hello there (: while waiting for my video to load, i think i ought to update this blog before dust starts to collect.

i think the best word to describe this week is definitely TIRING, and mostly physically. so thank god that chinese new year holidays are finally here. after four consecutive days of dancing, with another tomorrow, i really really need the long weekend!

dance has been really stressful and tiring what with preparations for syf and the cny performance, which was today! and i think i definitely did a much better job today than the first time i performed this dance during open day last year. no major mistakes though my sarung keeps slipping from my hands, and one of those times was thanks to lizhu. haha. and i was trying so hard to keep the smile on my face that i could feel my facial muscles twitching. hahaha. but really, i think we all did great (: thanks to all for the compliments and to those who came down early to help us with makeup, hair and whatnot. you are all deeply appreciated :D

and after school ended, we had a malay dance lunch outing at swensen's at park hotel. it was really fun! there was much camwhoring and i think thu's camera is filled with photos of me and lizhu doing the exact same pose everytime thinking snapped a picture. haha. the truth and dare that the other table played, but somehow involved us too, was quite interesting too! not forgetting the super lame jokes and miss khoo's cuteee niece and nephew!! simply said, it was really fun just being with my beloved malay dancers. we should have more outings!! oh and of course, much much thanks to miss khoo for the lunch, and the other teachers too!! :DDD

dance has been tiring and i predict that it will get even more tiring when we are approaching syf. but that doesn't mean that i love it any less. in fact, dance has definitely gotten much more fun and i really look forward to learning my first ever contemp dance. plus, all the great friends i have in dance never fail to make my day (: but i guess i shouldn't expect too much from myself and over-pressurise myself. it's good to have some form of pressure as it pushes me to do better but too much will only break me. i've been highly volatile these days so i guess i just have to keep my feelings in check and just do my best :D but but I LOVE NJC MALAY DANCE!!! it'll be the one thing that i will most definitely miss when i graduate ):

enough said. i need my beauty sleep, there's dance again tomorrow!

PS: i don't know why but i always see TTC, TAC and HBT. not sure it that's a bad thing, but at least it makes my day :DDD

hello world!

as you can see from the lack of updates, my life has been pretty busy and it's just the first week of school. i have no idea how i'm gonna survive the rest of the year. i even got terribly ill on the second day of school and till now, i haven't found my appetite to eat again ): but oh wells, nobody said it would be an easy year and i, myself, know that it definitely won't be. so i guess i just have to persevere. i must be optimistic! :D

but the first week of school has been pretty interesting. alot of little kiddies in my school now. haha. it feels so weird! i remember seeing so many parents in the school on monday, with their soon to be thirteen year old children holding on tightly to their hands like it's the end of the world if they let go. haha. and i got interesting teachers this year. for instance, my economics tutor is from new zealand and his first and middle name is STEVEN GERRARD!! (you know like the liverpool player who is also my husband in another world. haha)

but bottom line is, school is just as boring and tiring as ever. it really feels as if i never had a long holiday. i guess i have to get used to it again. but i can't wait for the long weekend next week :DD

enough said. till next time.

i'm hoping that you'll sing along
though it's not your favourite song

it feels kinda weird that i don't have to burn midnight oil to frantically finish up my homework before school starts tomorrow. it feels like i abandoned some ritual or something. haha.

and oh gosh. words cannot describe how much i'm dreading going back to school tomorrow ):

a levels year, here i comeee!

and HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY DEAR ROZA!! (:

and and to all those getting their o levels results tmr, i wish you the best of luck! :D

yay! i'm proud to announce that i have finally finished all my homework :) what a relief! i think this is the first time i actually finished my homework this early. and for the first time, i won't have to burn midnight oil the day before school reopens. haha. for the past years, i usually only start my homework in the last week of holidays and end up not finishing them. but this year is alevels year and i know i must work hard. like i said, to be able to do half as well as i did in olevels, i will have to work twice as hard. sucks but it's the truth. and with only six days left before school officially reopens for me, i should really do some revision. urg. the thought of it makes me so bleurgh.

oh and i am currently hooked on this Korean reality show, "We Got Married" or "Star Wedding", even though i'm only at episode fifteen. basically, the show will pair up two celebrities who will then have to live together as newlyweds. and each week, they will get a mission to accomplish. the couples are all so hilarious, sweet and simply entertaining. ahhh! it makes me look forward to the day i (hopefully) get married. hehe. and my fave 'couple' from the show is alex and shinae aka alshin couple :) in my opinion, they are the most good looking couple and are soooo romantic. i want to marry someone like alex!!!!! hope they will end up together in real life, same to the other couples toooo! :DDD

and it looks like one of my resolutions might be coming true. and i didn't even have to do much :)

enough said. i promise to come back with proper updates. heh.

they say that good things take time
but really, great things happen in the blink of an eye

wow my first post in 2009. haha.

and what better way to start off the year than joining my fellow schoolmates in the bp marchback! despite having to wake up damn early and having a blister on my poor little toe, it was all worth it :) well initially, i was too lazy to join the actual marchback and wanted to just wait straight at the new and revamped cck campus. but after certain 'complications' in the morning, i ended up at the old teck whye campus waiting with the rest of the school to set off for the walk.

so, the day started off at the old (and horrible) teck whye campus. joined my fellow alumni and waited for the flag lowering ceremony to start. then after more waiting, we finally set off to the new campus with the alumni being graciously the last group to set off. haha. it was a pretty long walk but walking with such great company, you don't really feel the distance :) as we were approaching the cck campus, our dearest tiger urged the alumni to do some cheer or sing some songs to "let the neighbourhood know we're back". and after much much persuasion, we did some bp cheers. a weak attempt but an attempt nonetheless. haha. and i think after about half an hour of walking, the alumni made our grand entrance in the new building. heeeheee. i felt really honoured and old. heh.

oh but i must say that the school looks damn niceee! they retained most of the old buildings and added a few extra blocks here and there. and the school was too colourful. haha. i like the name of our canteen: "Long Hill Cafeteria". get it? pretty lame huh. haha. oh and they even have that high school musical-ish scoreboard in the indoor sports hall. so cool! it felt nice being in the school. it felt both unfamilar and yet, very familiar at the same time. unfamiliar cuz physically, the school is not exactly the same anymore. familar cuz it was where i spent building friendships and memories for three wonderful years :)

when we reached the cck campus, there was some fanfare with the gamelan and lion dance troupe putting up some performances. and after more waiting, we had a flag raising ceremony. sang the school song and did the ever popular bp cheer! i miss doing that cheer! haha. after all that, the alumni were invited to reception at the indoor sports hall. free food is the best! hahaha.

but i think the greatest part of the marchback was being able to see all my schoolmates from all the different batches. there was the guy who i used to like and now, wonders why. haha. he looked totally different seh. there was the guy that used to like me and is now nicknamed mr. scary. haha. there was the senior who always used to torture us during sjab. even shawn lee was there this morning. and most importantly, there were all my dearest friends and the teachers too. all these people are the ones who made every moment in bp the most memorable ones yet.

to sum it up, today was great. with just one event, people of different ages, different schools, different sizes, different colours came together to share the one thing we have in common - BPGHS :)

they can take tomorrow and the plans we made
but they can never have yesterday.
