i'm freaking bored with my life right now.

ok. you should know by now that olevels results are out. if you don't, you must be living under a rock lah. haha. anyway, the wait was super nerve-wrecking. but in the end, i must say i'm very satisfied with my results. i'm not elated and i'm abit disappointed but it's fine. so my L1R5 is 10, which is the same as prelims (before moderation). i was kinda hoping to do better than prelims. oh wells. i got A2 for english, chemistry, amath (surprising! i've never even passed before!), combined humanities and higher malay; A1 for emath and biology (surprising cuz i thought i screwed up my practical); and a B3 for english literature (disappointing cuz i thought i did fine). and of course, not forgetting that i got an 'ABSENT' for physics. haha. so, after deduction of bonus points, my L1R5 is 6, which is just nice to stay in njc arts stream. my mum called njc this afternoon and got to know that the cut-off point for njc science is 5 and for arts is 6. so, i'm praying that i can stay in nj. if not, i'll appeal under malay dance after posting results are out. i have all my fingers crossed. >.<
results aside, went for a class outing today with 08A01. met up with yitong first at somerset mrt and then, we walked to cineleisure. met the rest there. there was xiaoxi, jiaqiang, nicholas, elson, pinxuan, zhixin and yihfang. wanted to watch a movie but the earliest time slot was only 3pm. the girls wanted to watch 27 Dresses while the guys wanted to watch Cloverfield. spent alot of time arguing over what to watch but in the end, managed to persuade the guys to watch 27 Dresses. yay! while waiting, went to KFC for lunch, sort of. too bad yitong left at 3pm cuz she wanted to see her eyecandy in the movie which btw, looks super hot in this movie. lol. he looks way better than in enchanted when he played the prince. anyway, the movie was damn sweet! and it's funny too. i love it. simply love it. i really don't mind watching it again. but the guys were calling it a stupid chick flick and all. like whatever lah. haha. after that, went back to KFC and along came marian, samantha and lizhu. i think they all went somewhere else for dinner after that. but me, samantha and zhixin left earlier, before dinner. wish i could've stayed longer cuz i love our class so much! it'd be damn hard to part with them man.
there has been so much ups and downs lately and i'm just hoping that things will brighten up soon. and no matter what jc i end up in, i know i have to be very hardworking cuz alevels is no joke and two years is not that long. why must time fly so fast? haish.

just ended malay dance practice merely hours ago. wah, damn tired seh. but managed to sit out of silat today. had stomach pains and my muscles are all strained from yesterday's silat. silat is nice to watch, not so nice to do. haha. and learned more of the zapin steps that they performed at sinaran hati. yay! i like! lols. oh, and i'm so happy today cuz i got to see my eyecandy alot today and even closer than before. he's so eyecandy-licious. hahaha.
malay dance aside, tomorrow is the dreaded results!! i'm so damn nervous though i know what is done cannot be undone. i just have to pray for the best. argh! the wait is killing me. only less than 16h left. shit.
and i think pae is just cruel. cuz even though is only 3 weeks, i'm so bonded and attached with A01. but we're definitely gonna split after jae. some may want to switch to science and some may want to go to better jcs. but whatever it is, A01 will always be in my heart. and let's have as many gatherings as we can! haha.
sch ends at 10.50am tmr. i'm actually lazy to go lah. but since most of my classmates want to go because of eng lit, i think i'll go. i must treasure the time i have left with my beloved classmates. and there's no sch on friday. planning to have a class gathering. (:

the weekend is coming to an end. ): and a week of lectures and tutorials has passed. and now, i have homework. sheesh. still not used to the idea of doing work again. so malas seh. and i'm back to my old habit of procrastinating. haha. anyways, lectures have been fine, especially so for eng lit and economics. love the lecturers. heh. and with each passing day, i love my classmates more and more. haha. even though i'm not with most of them for a number of my tutorials. but they're a great bunch to be around with. (:
oh. and i'm so damn nervous for olevels results. it's most likely to be released this coming week right? the wait is driving me nuts lah. i hope i'll be satisfied and happy with whatever results i will get.
yesterday, went to eat dinner with my dad's friend's and his family. ate at this place at the train station. basically, just wanted to catch up and all that. and he just looks good man. i really missed seeing him. though we didn't talk to each other, just the sight of him is enough to make my heart flutter. at that moment of time, i wished the night would never ever end.
ok. going out later. meeting up with nina, shirin and arifah to celebrate arifah's belated birthday. too bad huda can't make it at the last minute cuz of work. i was hoping that all 5 of us would be there. but it's ok i guess. there'll be other gatherings. hmm. i miss them all, especially nina and shirin cuz i haven't seen them in a loooonnnggg time. can't wait. hey. seems like i have time on my hands so, i shall update. (:
today was the slackiest day ever. i regretted coming to school. if not, i could have woken up much later. haiz. anyway, most of my classmates didn't have a single lecture today, including me. but we decided to be good students and planned to go to school anyway cuz there was contact from 11.40 to 12.30. BUT our civics tutor was sick today! so, he didn't come to school. like wtf lah. and we could only leave school legally at 1pm. so, what did we do for that 5 long hours? we entertained ourselves of course. we camwhored. some of them played captain's ball. then, we all played truth and truth. haha. my classmates are a damn whacky bunch. and at last, we ended up telling ghost stories. good thing i have them around or i would have died of boredom!
at least i have lectures tomorrow. history and maths i think. unless something weird happens and i'm left lecture-less again. haha. but my lectures end at like 9.40am. after that, it's a long wait till 1pm again. haiz.

oh, btw, is it really really true that olevels results will come out this friday?!? my friends told me and they say they have reliable sources. and even my mum's friend, who is a sec sch teacher, said so. is it seriously true? cuz i'm damn scared lah.

yesterday was the last day of orientation. aww. i'll miss it alot. but i'm also kinda happy that it's over cuz i'm soooo tired. orientation has really drained every last bit of energy i have. so, now i'm suffering from the after effects of too much fun. haha.
wednesday was the quest. met at boon lay at 8am and then, off we went on our quest to find out the 'murderers' of the dance maestro. walked here, walked there and played games. damn tiring. and we actually went to jwss. we were right outside but didn't see him. i was hoping he was having pe or something. just not my luck i guess. shucks. i miss him lah. ok, back to the quest. after that, went to have lunch at jurong pt and then, we headed to newton. by then, i was super tired already. legs were aching and everything. and then, it got worse. it started to rain. like wth. so, in the end we were super drenched but it was quite fun. all i remember after getting home was sleep and sleep. haha.
the highlight of thursday was the inter-gang dance competition. yihfang represented our house for one of the dances. in the end, agorix got 2nd place for 'till the dawn' and 1st for 'you can't stop the beat'! quite unexpected but congrats to the dancers! agorix rocks man. we had og and gang bonding sessions too. to sum it up, we had fun. and got kinda wet too.
yesterday so rocks. we had war games in the morning. i'm too lazy to explain the whole game but basically, MOST of us got drenched. for me, i was luckier. i was only slightly wet but my shoes were drenched cuz all the people who wanted to bomb me had really bad aiming. haha. later in the day, we had our last mass dance session. aww. learnt the third and last dance which is nj's traditional dance. fun! but i still like 'you can't stop the beat' the best! (: gang bonding session was hilarious but shall not bore you with the details. at night was DANCE PARTY! it was raining, so had it in the hall. but i think it's better cuz there was the 'clubbing' atmosphere what with the fancy lighting and all. danced my ass off for like 3 hours non-stop. we were all super high and nuts. i swear i've never danced nor sweat so much before. so, tnx to all the organisers of the orientation cuz i had a shit load of fun. and tnx my whacky OGLs! to Sebastian, Jingmin, Kristy, Felicia, Cecilia and Yuvika: i love you guys! (:
oh. and this morning, i went for my first malay dance practice at kallang's people association. cikgu osman recognised me. haha. it was ok but didn't do much cuz the seniors were busy preparing for a performance at 'sinaran hati' or something on suria. and there were only two malay seniors in tarian. felt weird but they danced really well. i'm impressed.

Hey! Day 5 of orientation today. I'm damn tired and sooo worn out. But I had fun!! FINALLY, the first three days of lectures and talks are over. And yesterday, we were re-grouped based on our civics classes. I kinda miss my previous OG though, especially the guys. Haha. But I love my new OG. We're all (well, most of us) super high. I'm in 08A01 (OG23), one of the two arts classes for J1 in NJC. The only BPian in my class is Yih Fang. And yeah, I'm the only malay in my class and also in all of arts I think. Thought there would be more malays doing arts. Guess I was wrong. Haha.
Yesterday was the start of fun, fun, fun! We had our informal walk-in yesterday. Oh yah, did I mention that my house is Agorix, which is PURPLE again!! I'm getting sick of purple seh. Haha. The informal walk-in was nice and entertaining. I love Agorix's performance! Tyraz also not bad ah. Haha. In case you didn't know, during the informal walk-in, the OGLs from each performance put up a dance routine for us to enjoy! (: 'Cause our theme for orientation is Step Up, you know the movie - music and dance? The rest of the day was basically bonding and mass dance sessions. Oh, and I find my civics tutor, hmm, interesting? Haha. I duno lah. He's nice but who gives 'homework' on the first day of orientation? Haha.
Today, we had station games! It was fun. Some of the games were weird. Some were gross which I ended up having flour in my mouth! Blergh. But most of it was WET and FUN. Haha. I liked the game in which we were dragged on soapy and wet benches. Haha. Nice. But our OG hardly won any game. Haha. But I think we really bonded. (: After three hours of station games, we had lunch and OG bonding session. Then, it was mass dance! I love mass dance. But the hall was damn hot and stuffy lah. Aircon is useless. But at least we finally finished learning both dances. You Can't Stop The Beat!! Hahaha.
Tomorrow is 'The Quest' which is something like a treasure hunt game (i think) around Singapore. My OG has to meet at Boon Lay MRT by 8am. Wahh. Very far lah seyy.. Why isn't my OG stationed at Woodlands (very near!) or Bugis or Clarke Quay (very fun!)? Hmm. Nvm lah. But I'm sure tmr will be much much more tiring.
Oh, cute guys. Haha. There's not many lah. Most are so-so. Not outstanding. Haha. But there is this guy from the NJ soccer team. He's really cute! Saw him when waiting for the bus on the way home. Most probably, he's in IP2 or J2 or maybe in IP1. And I can't even tell if he's malay or chinese. Haha. And there's also this malay guy from Kranji Sec in J1. He's not bad looking ah but not that good looking either. But there's something about him which draws me to him. Too bad he's in the science stream. So, we're not in the same class or even gang. ): Hahaha. I'm nuts, so don't mind me lahh.
Which reminds me, I have to find a poncho! What if I don't have? Oh shit.
Ok. Enough said then. I have some ransacking to do!! Haha.

Today was Day 2 of orientation at NJC. And it's still so damn boring lah. There are talks after talks and briefings after briefings. ARGH!! I think I'll go crazy if I listen to another talk. But at least there was mass dance today. Haha. It was fun. Steps abit weird but who cares? Had a blast looking stupid and getting all the steps wrong. LOL.
For the time being, I'm in OG13. The other BPians in my OG are Kenneth and Wei Jian. My OG is fine. It's just that we haven't had much time and opportunities to really bond what with the talks and all. But this grouping is only temporary 'cause next week, we will be re-grouped based on our civics classes.
Actually, I'm contemplating whether I would still want to stay in NJC after O Levels results. I'm not used to the culture here. For the first time, I'm in a school where there are really really few malays. So far, I only know that there's six malays here. It's abit difficult to get used to this. And I miss all my friends! I guess I have to give it more time and I have to see my results also. Hmm.. The only great thing so far is that orientation will only end next friday. YEAH! Haha.
