yo! time for updates. nt sure why. just felt like it... (:
Monday
school ended earlier than usual thanks to O Level MT Listening Comprehension. (: was dismissed at 12.30pm. went for speech day briefing at hall. after that, had a short dance practice. got our costumes. and i must admit that i was impressed. it actually looked nice. everything matched and for the first time ever, there weren't much complains about the costumes. the accesories were especially nice. they looked decent enough - both the guys' and girls' costumes. ended practica at 2+ and then, it was off to home.
Tuesday
SPEECH DAY! left class at 9am to do makeup and though we had like 3h, we still couldn't finish up all our makeup before boarding the bus. so, we continued at Victoria Theatre. it was a super long wait there. from about 1pm to 5pm. while waiting, we finished off all our makeup and stuff, ate the little food that we had, gossipped, listened to MP3s, sang horribly (for some reason, most of us kept singing 'Umbrella'), and cam-whored ALOT. haha. i had the most irritating and hardest job of makeup-ing the guys. they kept wiping off their make-up! i had to redo so many times. it was tiring. many of my "helpers" gave up and safiah said that i was very patient. (: what can i say? it's in my nature. hehe. unfortunately, after all my hard work, they ended up performing for the actual thing with hardly any make-up on. even so, no matter how tiring it was, it was kinda fun seeing them squirm when i put the lipstick on them. haha. it was very entertaining.
performance wise, i think we did ok. not as good as we hoped to be. but still ok. there were only a few noticeable mistakes. it was quite sad cause it's the sec4's last performance. i felt quite emotional. i'll definitely miss dance, especially this year's dancers. i feel we are quite bonded. had great fun together. will miss you guys alot. honestly, i think i might miss dance more than sjab. maybe it's because dance didn't put me under tremendous amount of stress, unlike sjab. and i can't believe i actually cried that night when i reminisced all the wonderful moments in dance...
Wednesday
normal day in sch. except for the fact that i was super tired from the day before (reached home at about 9pm after speech day). watched anugerah finals at night. quite disappointing actually. but Aliff wowed me when he sang 'Sedang Ingin Bercinta'. didn't think he could pull it off, but he did. i think the most deserving of the night. oh, and fauzie was extra cute. haha. i was more entertained by him than anything esle. <3
Thursday
went to school. went home.
Friday
went to school. went home. supposed to go for ndp contingent rehearsal. but i dropped out. hehe. lazy lah. anyways, prelims are approaching and i have other personal reasons why i'm not participating which i can't mention here. so, i didn't really deliberately drop out ok.. when i reached home, my sis told me she saw #24 in the bus. NO FAIR! how come i'm the one who has a crush on him but my sis is the one who always get to see him. i'm so damn jealous lah. haish.
Saturday
didn't do much. mostly, stayed home to rot.
Today
just finished tuition. and here i am, blogging.
well, enough said. off to find something to much on. hungry lah. hehe. ciao!

today was DESTRESSing day. haha. went out with fiqah and zimah to causeway. watched harry potter. i know what they said, that if you read the book, you'll be disappointed. and if you haven't, then you won't be. it's so true! i have never read a single HP book (don't ask me why)and i wasn't hugely disappointed. abit i guess. nt so sure why though. haha. anyway, zimah was quite disappointed, considering she read the book. haha. lucky me. whatever it is, i still enjoyed it. (:
after the movie, went window shopping awhile. wanted to search for prom dresses but barely found any. looked at shoes. fiqah was having a hard time finding one she liked. zimah liked almost every pair she saw. haha. very funny lah. as for me, i found a really nice pair, which i might want to buy for prom. (: then, took neoprint. we were very the kecoh. haha. panicked alot. the pictures came out quite nicely. BUT sadly, we accidentally printed it in very2 small size. i hate these machines. haha. nvm, we have decided to go to the exact same machine again after prelims. this time, we won't panic. haha. all in all, had a great time. loves. <3
tomorrow will be my first lesson with my new tutor. hope he's good and if possible, very easy on the eyes. hehe. (:

today has been extremely tiring yet memorable and fun too. (:
first thing in the morning was Cadet Leader Interview at Fajar Sec. walked from Petir LRT to the sch and we were DRENCHED. it was really raining cats and dogs. anyways, i was damn nervous for the interview. during the interview itself, they asked crappy questions. and i gave crappy answers. haha. i hope but don't really expect to pass the interview. firstly, cause there's a quota. only 2 CLs per corps. so, that means, out of the 4 of us, at most only 2 of us will become CLs. secondly, i don't think i did that well. but oh wells. let bygones be bygones. i just can't wait for ROD. >.<
after that, went home. and in the afternoon, went out again with my family to Marina Bay. we went to watch the NDP preview (Family Day). my sister is performing under her school, so we got tickets to watch the preview today. the last and only time i watched it live was in P5. so, decided to go just for fun and to DESTRESS. though we didn't get the goody bags. only those students from schools got them. ): but at least, there was food.
the place was of course, crowded. parked at Suntec City and had to walk damn far to reach the place. we sat at the green section, right at the end cause we were kinda late. haha. our view was kinda blocked by the spotlights. but later, i realised, we got the better side of the place.
first was all the singing and dancing. blabla. i never did like this part. quite dull. just sat down and ate and ate and criticised many things. haha. the only highlight from this segment was the supposed dragon boat showcase. there were three teams from temasek jc, acs (if i'm nt wrong) and of course, BP ((: was excited for our sch. they were supposed to race to the platform. but i realised that it was only a stimulation. they used motor-boats and the teams were nowhere in sight. what a spoiler. haha. must save their energy, i guess. oh yah, i saw steph. she was sitting in the row in front of me but not directly in front. not sure whether she saw me. haha. what a coincidence.
things began to spice up during the parade and ceremony. normal stuff. salutations, inspection, march pass, etc. then, there was the SAF, navy, air force, etc showcase. it was cool. at the national stadium, u can at most only see the land and air vehicles. but here, there was all the high speed boats. very cool. ok, i admit i'm abit jakun also lahh. haha. i mentioned about being lucky to be seated at that end cause we were near the shear (is that how u spell it?) bridge. alot of happenings there. like the navy or SAF (i can't rmb) scaling off the bridge and diving into the river. cool. and many more of such things. i loike. ooh, and did i mention that there was this gorgeous SAF guy at where i was sitting. omg. so cute lah. haha. (:
then, when evening fell, there were all of the normal colourful and entertaining performances. nothing that special. but the theme of water was really emphasised. and they really made full use of the river. cool. and i like the lightings, especially the spotlights, the ones like those search-lights. we never saw such things at National Stadium. saw my sister's school perform. too bad i didn't have super vision so that i can see her. haha. lastly, was the finale. i absolutely loved the fireworks. i personally think it's better than last time. there were fireworks from the platform itself, from somewhere in the river, and from this tall building near the river. it was nice. a spectacular sight with a breath-taking view of the city by the river as an incredible background. NICE. (:
as you can see, i obviously enjoyed myself though it's abit too early to be in the national day mood. haha. performance-wise, it's quite the same. but the effect is somehow more special because of the element of water. and the breath-taking city view. it was nice. definitely destressing. if u have the chance of watching it live, don't waste it cause it wont be the same watching it on TV. and the fireworks aren't as nice in the TV. ((:

my life is seriously messed up. i guess two wrong turns don't make a right. lucky, lucky me that i have friends who know how to cheer me up all the time.
anyways, my weekend has not been so eventful. just stayed cooped up at home and did homework and rot, blabla. the only fun thing i did? well, i watched Transformers yesterday. and i must say that it is UBER COOL. i rmb seeing in Lime that the movie was coming out. and i laughed. haha. i didn't like the cartoons. too guy-ish for me. haha. but the movie was awesome. i love all the fighting scenes. so nice. haha. and the movie's quite hilarious too. i urge you guys to watch it. you won't be wasting your time. out of five stars, i give it a five. (:
oh yah, saturday was my last piano lesson - ever. haha. finally. i wanna concentrate on other impt stuff like studies at the moment, and sorting out my life. coincidentally, my last lesson is also my teacher's last lesson. she's quitting for something better i guess. oh wells, i don't care. haha.
off to school again tmr. hope your youth day wasn't as boring as mine.
