I AM ON HIATUS (:

I want to take a break from blogging. Mainly because, I hardly have the time to type out a proper and meaningful blog entry with the amount of stuff I have to do. I have kinda been on an informal hiatus since I hardly update my blog anyway. So at least for now, don't expect any updates from me. I don't know when I will come back to blogging - if I ever. But if you really really want to know about what I've been up to, I'll still be active on Facebook and Twitter. So add me or follow me! (:

OMG it's been eons since I last updated! I don't have much time to update now, but just a quickie to keep my blog alive!

School has been tiring. So much stuff to do and assignments and mid-term tests are slowly coming. And it doesn't help that I'm busy with Malay Dance practices, seeing that our production is in less than a month away and there's still so much left to do :/ I can't wait for recess week!

I can't wait for Korean Pop Night Concert 2010!!! I queued for 10 freaking hours but it was worth it cos I got my Cat 2 tix!! ^^ Big Bang, SHINee, FT Island on one stage!! How awesome is that!!!!

What else to update on? Hmmmmmmm....... I can't think of anything else! Hah! I guess nothing much happened to me after all. LOL.

Actually, I kinda feel like just deleting my blog cos I don't have much time to update it, or can't be bothered or simply forget about it. Hmmm. What do you think? But when I do feel like it, updating my blog can be so much fun.

Wheee~ Yesterday was DAEBAK! As you all know, of course, I went for CNBLUE's showcase yesterday at UCC with Nadirah (: And it was beyond awesome, a tad short but still awesome! We reached there at 1pm cos we wanted to take a look at the official merchandise they were selling, thinking that they would be little left by the time we reached there. But to our surprise, there were quite few people there haha! We each bought ourselves a CNBLUE tumbler which is really cool (: Oh and both of us were decked out in blue from head to toe in support of CNBLUE! ^^

Went into the theatre at around 2.45pm and I was really surprised to see that our seats were not that bad, they were actually quite near to the stage! So proud of myself hehe. Anyway, the showcase started around 3.30pm and lasted a little over an hour. The boys entered the stage and sang their intro song, followed by two other songs which were Let's Go Crazy and Love Revolution I think, can't really remember cos I was too excited! By right, no cameras were allowed and at the beginning, the staff were quite strict, going up to people who were holding up cameras and threatening to bring them out of the theatre. But midway, I think they gave up! Haha and cameras were flashing away, and I too joined in the frenzy! But that's why my fancams were only the middle of the showcase, didn't manage to record the second half either cos my camera ran out of memory space and I could only take pictures, and later my camera ran out of battery too -.-" But I managed to take quite a number of not bad pictures!

Oh yes, after performing those 3 songs, they had a short introduction section where each member introduced themselves in ENGLISH! Haha so cute! Their English is quite fluent actually, just that there's the Korean accent but hey, at least they tried (: Then, they performed I'm A Loner, Love Light and Love! And then they left the stage for a while and came back to perform The Way (Part 1) - One Time and one more song which I can't seem to remember. Hmm... Then they had an interview session and they were all so cute! When asked who they wanted to collaborate with, when it was Yonghwa's turn to answer, the fans all shouted "SNSD!!!" and he was like "No, nooo, noooooooo!" Hahaha! When asked later what was the best part of being a celebrity, again fans shouted "We Got Married!!!" and Yonghwa's reaction was priceless! ^^ After the interview, they had some interactions with fans where lucky fans got to take a picture with them, got to hug them (including a guy fan haha!), got autographed CDs from them and got serenaded by Yonghwa who sang 'I'm A Fool' from the drama You're Beautiful (: And then, the Singapore CNBLUE fanclub presented CNBLUE with a cake (with their faces on it) and a very touching video to commemorate the start of CNBLUE's Asian tour (: And finally, it was the end of the showcase with a short official video of the boys especially for the fans ^^ All in all, it was AWESOME!! SARANGHAE CNBLUE~~~!!

In other news, another week of school has passed. And I got all the tutorial slots I wanted! YAY! My timetable is quite okay - My lessons last from 10am to 6pm on Mondays to Wednesdays (not including breaks, and on even weeks I have 4 hours less of lessons) and on Thursdays, my lessons are from 1pm to 6pm and the best part is that I have no school on Friday! (: But ugh, my readings keep piling up cos I just can't seem to bring myself to read them. Everytime I try, I will either fall asleep or get distracted *sighs*

Oh but I'm joining NUS Ilsa Tari!! ^^ Went for their welcome tea last Wednesday and it was fun! The seniors were all nice and really really enthusiastic and crazy! Haha! First practice should be starting tmr. And to all my dear NJC Malay Dancers, you can still join NUS Ilsa Tari even if you're not in NUS! There are seniors in Ilsa Tari who are from NIE/NTU, polytechnics, etc. COME COME AND JOIN!!! HEHEHE! ^^

Ok. I think that's all I want to update on. Next week, tutorials start ): That means I'll be much more busier *sighs* I can't wait for the next holiday already! Haha!

Ok. It's been quite some time since I last updated heh.

Well, school started for me the past week. It was umm.. okay I guess. Nothing exciting about it. I only have lectures these 2 weeks so I'm still kinda free. And my lectures are from Mondays to Thursdays with four of them at 4pm to 6pm and one of them on Wednesday morning from 10am to 12pm. And did my tutorial balloting on Friday, results should be released tomorrow. Hopefully, I'll get the tutorial slots that I want :D Trying to keep Fridays free! Hehehe! And one thing's for sure, I am definitely looking forward to Sociology lectures (;

Oh yes, been driving to school the past week and will continue to do so for the next week as long as my dad is not back from KL yet (: I'm proud to say that my parking skills have improved ALOT! But honestly, don't quite like driving to school although it saves me alot of traveling time cos firstly, the parking at FASS is damn ex. Plus, I'm lazy to drive! Heh. But maybe I'll miss driving to school once I start taking public transport again..

Ugh. I just got reminded of how much readings I have to do! And it's only the first/second week of school! My brain is just not used to all this yet :/ I wish I could go back to doing nothing again.

School aside, I went for Celebration@Marina on Friday! It's a pre-YOG event sponsored by Samsung and the best part was that 4minute and Beast performed! ^^ It was AWESOME for the most part cos it was FREE and I got to see Beast again! Though I do pity those who actually bought tix cos in the end, the let the public sit at the empty VIP area. I couldn't really see them clearly, just tiny people from where I was but at least there was a large screen so it wasn't too bad. The only downside was that my camera failed on me so I couldn't record anything :/ Stupid Friday the 13th curse! Hmph!

And and next week, I'm going to see CNBLUE! Got tix for their showcase! Can't wait!!! :D

Oh oh yes, went for NUS Ilsa Tari dance class yesterday. It was only an hour long but they couldn't have chosen a better timing. It was from 5.30pm to 6.30pm -.-" I almost died of exhaustion what with the lack of stamina from a long time of not dancing on top of me fasting. But the session was quite fun. We just did basic steps but it made me realise that I miss dance! Haha. And Cikgu actually remembered me! (:

Just placed my bids for 3 more modules in Round 2A =.= Please please pray hard for me that I will get these 3 modules! And yes, I'm bidding for 3 more modules cos I lost my SEA Studies, English Language and Korean during the first round of bidding. Only managed to secure History and Sociology. Damn. You have no idea how upset, devastated, frustrated, stressed out when I got the bidding results. And I cried. Yes, I cried damn hard. Cos it was just simply frustrating. Ugh. Hate the bidding system! Oh but you know what is most frustrating? Just minutes before the bidding for Round 1C closed, I decided to lower my bid for History so I had 2 extra points. Wanted to put it in Korean at first but decided to put it in SEA Studies. GAWWWDD! I should have done it the other way round cos in the end, I was outbidded for SEA Studies by like more than 20 points but for Korean, I was outbidded by ONE FREAKING POINT! GRRRR! I hate how the future of our studies is decided by the test of LUCK! :/ Really really hope I get luckier this time.

And and after much much much chaos, confusion and mix-ups, I finally got my final confirmation email that my tickets for CNBLUE's showcase are rightfully mine! (: There was really much disappointment and confusion, which is really too long and unnecessary to post here, but glad that everything worked out for me. Never had I such a huge headache from buying tickets! And if any of you still want to go CNBLUE's showcase cum fan-meeting, tickets for CAT 4 which are $68 each are still available. Go to gatecrash.com.sg to book them online (: The showcase cum fan-meeting will be held at UCC, NUS on 21st August 2010 (Sat) from 3PM to 4.30PM. Alternatively, you can go see them at their autograph session which will be held at City Square Mall Level 1 Atrium on 20th August 2010 (Fri) from 8PM to 8.45PM. The autograph session is freeand open to public but there won't be any singing and only CAT 1 and CAT 2 ticket holders will get the members' autographs. And in case you're wondering, I got myself two CAT 3 tickets. Wanted CAT 2 at first but then it got sold out and not really really dying to get their autograph anyway. Just want to see them sing LIVE! ^^ Can't wait!

And Beast is coming to Singapore again, with 4minute too! They'll be performing at Celebration @ Marina Bay (a pre-YOG event) which will be held from 13th, 15th, 20th and 22nd August 2010 at The Promontory, Marina Boulevard. I think I previously said that you need to buy a Samsung phone to get tickets. Well, that's true. And if you have tickets, you have VIP entrance and get better views, closer to the stage. However, this event is open to the public too! That means non-ticket holders can watch the concert for FREE, and can enter after the VIP ticket holders!! COOL! And btw, Beast and 4minute are scheduled to perform on 13th August. The whole concert is from 4PM to 10.15PM but Beast and 4minute are scheduled for 9.15PM to 10.15PM. Who's excited?? I know I am!! (:

And lastly, HAPPY 27th BIRTHDAY to After School's Jung Ah! Unnie, I love your voice and your figure!! ^^ And hope After School and F.cuz had fun in Singapore during the Sundown Festival :D

Sorry for the lack of updates. Sometimes, I even forget that I have a blog heh.

Modules bidding started today and it's a HUGE HEADACHE! Please please pray hard that I can get the modules I want. I'm even more worried when closed bidding starts tomorrow. I hope that won't be crazy, paranoid people who will bid unreasonably for the modules! AHHH!! The lack of sleep for the past few days (because of the early orientation talks) and the stress from bidding is causing pimples to breakout on my face, dark circles to form and ulcers to appear in my mouth. I am a mess right now.

But but at least I found a new motivation to look forward to school! ^^

And at least I can look forward to CNBLUE coming to Singapore for an autograph session at City Link Mall on 20th August and a showcase cum fan-meeting at NUS UCC on 21st August. I really really wanna go!! Can't wait! (:

Oh oh and Beast and 4minute are coming to Singapore too! They'll be performing at Celebration @ Marina Bay (a pre-YOG event) on 13 August. COOL right? But unfortunately, once again, phones are involved if you wanna get tickets =.= After School and F.Cuz should have arrived in Singapore tonight! They're performing at the Sundown Festival and they have a fan-meet at IMM too! Lee Minho should be arriving in Singapore tomorrow night too for a fan-meeting! ^^ Not going for any of these but hopefully, both the artistes and the fans will have a great time! :D

Wheee~ Just had another chalet from Monday to yesterday with Fiqah, Azimah and Nadirah! And it was FUN FUN FUN!!! ^^

Our chalet was at Costa Sands Downtown East too but I don't know why, compared to the chalet with the Malay Dancers, the room seemed bigger even though the price was the same. And ironically, we had more people during the Malay Dance chalet haha. Anyways, it was another FUN chalet :D

The first thing we did when we checked into the chalet was to watch FINAL DESTINATION! We were lazy bums and decided to watch a movie instead of going cycling. I think we were really hilarious while watching Final Destination! Instead of shouting "Don't die! Don't die!", we were like "Die faster! Die faster!" HAHAHA. And after that, went shopping for BBQ stuff and then waited for our VIP GUESTS, Sarah and Mas, to come before starting our BBQ. BBQ was full of frustration because of the stupid fire and laughter because of all of our weird and funny antics. Although the food was not all really cooked and it was tiring to keep up the fire and all, it was still very much enjoyable :D

After the BBQ, we went back to our room and we experienced power trips MANY MANY TIMES! This happened during the Malay Dance chalet too but that time, it was only twice or thrice. But the odd thing about the power trips is that everything (the lights and air-con) would be switched off but the TV would be working fine. And we could not call the reception at all. So me and Zimah walked all the way to the reception to let them know and get help but gosh, when we told the girl working there, she was like "Oh yah yah, we'll send someone over" in a this-happens-all-time kind of tone -.-" And the person took a long time to come to our room but by then, the lights and all seemed to be working fine. So I decided to take a shower first. And guess what. Unlucky me, the power trips started again once I was in the shower. Of course, I freaked out and screamed. I was shocked, annoyed and most of all, scared. And all the maintenance guy did was put the card in the slot and waited there to see if it was back to normal or not. Like wth. Even we can do that luh. But after a while, it was back to normal again. It was an odd experience. And we're not exactly ruling out weird reasons for the power trips, if you know what I mean.

ANYWAY, after the power trips were gone and we were all refreshed, we had our KPOP NIGHT! We watched K-pop videos, singing and dancing along, ogling at the cute guys and laughing our heads off. It was loads of fun!!

The next day, we checked out, had breakfast and went to Pasir Ris Park for a while just to relax. It was really nice cos the park was empty. We camwhored in the nice scenery and played games with my SHINee poker cards ^^ Then, we headed back home together.

In all, though there were some odd experiences, we had loads of fun!! :D I LOVE YOU GUYS!!

And I decided to withdraw from Arts Oweek. Due to varied reasons luh. And I feel more relieved now that I don't have to go for Oweek (:

Gosh that reminds me. I have to go to NUS tomorrow for registration. *sighs* All the administrative stuff for NUS is really really confusing and stressing me out!

ANDDDD the long awaited comeback of my five shining boys is finally here! SHINee is back with Lucifer!! I love the song and the whole album actually. And the MV is super cool! Loving the choreography!! Can't wait to see them perform it live! Though I'm still not used to their new and drastic hairstyles, especially Key's (although I'm glad that the sides were just dyed blonde and not shaved!). Anyways, here's the HOT MV!! ENJOYYY~~~

I'm back from chalet with my dear senior Malay Dancers! And it was funnnnnn! :DD

It was just a 2D1N chalet and we didn't do much (mostly bumming around haha) but it was fun to spend time with my fellow dancers! So much gossip and girl talk! Haha. We mostly talked and talked till like 2 in the morning and till some of our voices grew hoarse! But we didn't just talk of course. We went for manicures and pedicures, or more like they did cos I was lazy in the end haha, watched a movie in the room, ate ALOT and of course, camwhored ALOT! Hahaha. But it was niceeee (: Though I didn't get much sleep at night, barely actually, because of the unfamiliar surroundings actually and all the "interesting" sleeping habits of the others. Haha.

And the next day (which is today heh), after breakfast together, we (excluding Saniah and Hazi) went over to Gwen's house to... CAMWHORE MORE! Hahahaha. And to have lunch and to play some card games (of which I was super bad at cos of my lack of sleep!) and to continue more gossiping! Haha.

All in all, I had funnnn! :D Can't wait for our next meet-up! I LOVE YOU ALL!! ^^

And and today, the CDs I ordered from YesAsia arrived!! WHEEEEE~~ So happy!! :DD

Omg. I am freaking tired right now, it's not even funny. My necks and shoulders are aching from carrying around a super heavy bag today. And my calves are really aching! From just walking around! *sighs* I feel like I need a massage RIGHT NOW!! Haha.

Have been spending these past two days with a certain girl named NG LIZHU! Haha. Went to watch Despicable Me yesterday at Suntec using my FREE movie tickets (courtesy of OCBC bank loan haha). Movie was ok lah. It's fun to watch, but I still prefer Toy Story 3! Haha. But yesterday was a super unlucky day for the both of us! We wanted to buy shoes but couldn't find the design or colour or size that we wanted! Same goes for this dress that I wanted to buy. And also for this wallet that Lizhu wanted to get too. And we walked from one end of Suntec to the other I don't know how many million times! Lol. And walked to Marina Square. And went to The Cathay. And went to Plaza Singapura. But we couldn't find anything to buy! What luck. But still, it was a nice day out ^^

And today, met that certain girl again with Hui Wei and Joycelyn to discuss things to do and bring for our Malay Dance chalet this coming Tue/Wed!! Can't wait!! Then went walking around Heeren and Cineleisure while waiting for 2pm for me to register for my Arts Oweek. As you can see, I did so much walking. It's no wonder my calves ache like crazy! :/

Today, tickets for Jay Park's Fan Meet Tour 2010 goes on sale. Early bird price is $99 but it's still abit too much for me. I'm really almost broke. And I still have two chalets coming up. Urgh. I really really want to see Jay Park! I seriously hope he'll come for other CHEAPER events! :/ And I'm also hoping that the tickets will sell out soon cos at least, I can reassure myself that "ah I couldn't buy because the tickets are sold out already". It feels really really tempting right now!!! But I can't Lissya, I can't!! For those of you who are interested, click here for more details about the event ^^

Oh and 2AM should have finished with their showcase at IMM right? Wonder how it went? Hope 2AM and their fans had a great time. Not a huge fan of them but glad that they came here. I hope 2AM will go back to Korea and tell the 2PM boys to come here too! Haha.

And today is Super Junior's Kim Heechul's birthday! HAPPY 27TH BIRTHDAY HEECHUL OPPA! Heechul oppa who looks good as a girl, who has a huge crush on Sohee, who can dance even while taking on the phone, who is just awesome! Saranghae oppa! SUPER JUNIOR HWAITING! ^^

I hate seeing you again 'cause you bring back the feelings I tried so hard to forget. So let's just keep it that way, let's not ever meet again. It hurts less that way.

Anyway, I've nothing much to update on. Just that... I checked YesAsia yesterday and my order had just been shipped out! YAY! I can't wait to get Taeyang's SOLAR deluxe album, Big Bang's Big Show 2010 concert album and Big Bang's Tell Me Goodbye single ^^ It cost me a bomb but it's worth it (: CAN'T WAIT! CAN'T WAIT!

And and JAY PARK IS COMING TO SINGAPORE!!! He'll be holding a 1.5h showcase at Wavehouse@Sentosa. I think it's really really random for him to come here but I'm not complaining! Heh. Although I am complaining about the price of the tickets. It costs a freaking $120 (inclusive of a free drink and entrance fee to Sentosa)! But if you buy it from 10th July (that's when the tickets start to go on sale on Sistic) to 24th July, it's $100. Butttttt it's still quite expensive especially since it's to see just one guy (even though it's freaking Jay Park!). Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE him, but I feel that it's not really worth it? I don't know. The Sundown Festival tickets cost $119 and that's too see After School AND F.Cuz plus two other J-Rock groups. Sooooo, although I really really want to, I don't think I'm going cos I'm really short of cash now and even if I start saving up, the tickets will be sold out by then. Haha! Since there's only 1000 tickets. *sighs* Hopefully, he'll have some other CHEAPER events during his visit here too. If not, I'll be glad to welcome him at the airport! Hahaha.

OMG. I have an ulcer on my gums and it's really really killing me! I can't talk properly without it hurting! T.T And it's really ruining my appetite since it hurts so much just to chew my food - which is why I'm fasting today! Haha. But goshhhh, it really hurts ):

I have two chalets coming up and I can't waittt!!! This also explains why I can't afford to go for Jay's showcase ): But I wanna have fun with my dear friends before school starts (which I'm already starting to dread)!! Wheeeee~

Today really feels like a nice, LAZY Sunday afternoon. I woke up at 9.30am, ate abit of breakfast, watched abit of TV, and then fell asleep again at 11.30am! Hahahaha. Yes, I am a lazy pig.

Anyway, yesterday, I went for a drive for the first time after passing my driving test! Went for a 'warm-up' drive with just my dad in my mum's car. It was kinda fun cruising along the expressway! Hehe. But of course, my parking still sucks very much. Then, in the afternoon, went out with my family and they insisted that I drive my dad's car, which is a SUV by the way. I was kinda nervous at first because I have never driven an SUV before! But it wasn't that bad luh, just that the judgement is harder cos the car is taller and bigger. But still, my parking sucks! Hahaha.

And recently, I've been spending waaaaayyyy too much! :/ But I can't help it!! And I realise that it's mostly on online shopping heh. On the day I passed my driving test, after all the excitement subsided, I realised that I spent close to $200!! But it's all worth it definitely. I spent about $114 on Taeyang's Solar deluxe album, Big Bang's Big Show 2010 concert album and Big Bang's Tell Me Goodbye single. And plus another $50 for my driving license and $6 for the passport-sized photo. And due to Lizhu's influence, I had my first try at online shopping for clothes haha! I've never liked online shopping for clothes cos I like to see and try out the item first before buying. But since Lizhu wanted me to help her buy something, I decided to buy something for myself too. What the heck right. Haha. But that means another $28 just flew out of my wallet :/ But but it's all worth spending money on. Just that I must definitely learn to be more thrifty now!!

Gosh. I'm sneezing non-stop now! Urgh. So irritating. And I don' know why!!!

Anyways, HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY TO BEAST'S LEADER, YOON DOO JOON!!! ^^ Please come to Singapore again!! Hehe. Doo Joon oppa is definitely an angel at heart and very handsome too!! SARANGHAE OPPA!!! ^^ And don't forget to catch Beast on Entertainment on 5 this Wednesday (7 July) on Channel 5 (DUHHH!) at 8.30pm!! I know I won't forget!! (:

Today is truly an AWESOME day! :D

Firstly, of course, I PASSED MY DRIVING TEST! ^^ Though really barely passed it! Haha. Got 18 demerit points! But hey, a pass is a pass! And I can't be any more relieved (: My luck was really bad today cos it was RAINING SO DAMN HEAVILY!! Especially during my warm-up! I couldn't do my vertical parking properly! But thank goodness, the rain subsided once my test started. I mostly got demerit points for failing to do many many safety checks! Haha. Eh, I realise that the tester didn't make me do braking on ramp and emergency brake. Hmm. But yeah, all's good! And I'm finally freeee~ Driving lessons are really time-consuming and money-draining! Hahaha. And I just found out that my one and only Nichkhun also took his driving test today! I'd like to think that it's more than just coincidence that we have our driving tests on THE SAME DAY! Haha. But too bad, he didn't pass it or we could have gotten our driving licenses on the same day ): But still, better luck next time Khun! ALL THE BEST OPPA! ^^

And today was a day of many many awesome releases! There's ex-Baby V.O.X member, Kan Mi Yeon's comeback with 'Crazy'. Song is not bad, and MV is awesome! It features Lee Joon and Mir of MBLAQ! ^^ 2AM's Jo Kwon also released his single 'The Day Of Confessing My Love'. Cute song! Hehe. And miss A, a new girl group from JYPE, debuted today with 'Bad Girl Good Girl'. The song is not bad but other than that, nothing else impresses me much.

And of course. Today is the much anticipated release of Taeyang's solo album!!! ^^ Woke up early just to order my copy of the deluxe edition of SOLAR!! And I'm glad I did cos it's already sold out! Can't wait for it to arrive!!! WHEEE~~ And I've been listening to the album over and over again! It's really awesomeeee! OMG only 3 more days till 1st July!! Why am I highly anticipating this day?

Well, firstly, it's the day of my driving test! I've been really dreading going for driving lessons these days. Cos it drains me of my MONEY! And the time spent on driving lessons can be used for more exciting stuff! And and I really really wanna get the test over and done with! I hope I can pass it!!! It doesn't even have to be with flying colours, I just want to pass it and get it done with! Haha. Only 2 more lessons before my test!!

And secondly, TAEYANG'S NEW ALBUM WILL BE RELEASED ON 1ST JULY!!! Though only the deluxe edition will be released on 1st July. And I so want it! The deluxe edition brings 13 songs and comes with a 68-page photobook and a t-shirt designed by Taeyang himself! AWESOME RIGHT! What's not awesome is that there's only 30,000 copies but I'll try my best to get my hands on it. I even registered on YGeshop despite the fact that everything is in Korean! I really really want it. But if I don't get it, I'll still buy the normal edition definitely. The normal edition brings 11 songs and comes with a 28-page photobook only but I'm sure it will be awesome too cos it's freaking TAEYANG!! Hahaha.

Oh and I finally watched Nichkhun and Victoria's first episode on 'We Got Married'. Btw, I refuse to call the couple 'Khuntoria' cos it just sounds weird righttttt?!! Anyways, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be luh. I survived (: Haha. Nichkhun is really CUTE and it's known through other shows that he's a really sweet and caring guy and very gentlemanly. So I'm sure he'll be a great 'husband' to Victoria. And Victoria doesn't seem like the kind of girl which makes me sick, you know the clingy and desperate sort. She seems kind of goofy and weird. So it'll be quite interesting to watch them I guess. Who knows, I might eventually like this couple (but only on the show of course! haha). I already like the husband VERY VERY MUCH (;

AND HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY TO CNBLUE'S DRUMMER, KANG MIN HYUK! Isn't he just SOOOO ADORABLE! I really love his new haircut for CNBLUE's recent comeback (: And please don't cry anymore at all those haters who call CNBLUE a fake band cos you guys definitely are not!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE youuuuu! Hehehe

And also, HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY TO MINHYUK'S 'SISTER-IN-LAW', SEO JOO HYUN! Also known as, SNSD's maknae, Seohyun! I hope Yonghwa isn't jealous that Minhyuk and Seohyun share the same birthday and are of the same age too! Hahaha. And I hope that Seohyun and Yonghwa will have a 'happy marriage' - I want to see more SKINSHIP! Hehehe.

I think I'm coming down with the flu. And my throat feels kinda sore. But that must be because of my constant screaming yesterday night at the AWESOME Beast's showcase at Mediacorp!!! So here's my account of the showcase!

Went there with my sister (and her friend), Nad (and her sister), Fiqah (and Syafiq) and Azimah. We reached Mediacorp around 4.30pm and we got our queue numbers. We were no. 910 to 917 by the time we reached there and the event only started at 7.30pm, doors open at 6pm -.-" I heard that those who came at around 9am yesterday were already no. 500+. That's really crazy. We waited for quite some time outside before we were ushered into the theatre. It felt like we were at assembly! We had to sit for a long time! While waiting, we ate abit, listened to music, almost fell asleep and camwhored abit too! Haha.

We finally went into the theatre after a tiring wait. I was quite disappointed at our seats cos we were seated at the 2nd level and plus, we were at the side so we could only see half of the stage clearly. The other side of the stage was partially blocked by the screen. But yeah, at least, we could watch through the screen. But what really pissed me off was that people who were queueing BEHIND us (that meant that they came LATER than us) were given seats at the FIRST LEVEL!! Like wth. It's not their fault, it's the staffs' fault!!! They should have filled in the seats at the first level first what!!! GRRRR! And later on, I found out from one of my sister's friends that we could have come to Mediacorp early in the morning at lik 7am, take the queue number and GO HOME! -.-" But it's ok, that didn't get in the way of me enjoying the showcase!! ^^

The boys came in and performed 'Beast Is The B2st' first. Then, they performed 'Bad Girl' and 'Mystery' where my dearest Gi Kwang gave a sneak peak at his CHOCOLATE ABS! AHHHHH!!!! *melts* Then, they performed 'Easy (Sincere Version)' which was so heartwarming :D Then, they went backstage for a change of clothes while we were entertained by a video of the boys touring in other countries, as well as the music videos of 'Take Care Of My Girlfriend (Say No)' (which I wanted them to sing live cos it's my FAVE song from them) as well as 4minute's 'Who's Next' and 'Huh'. Then, they came out and performed 'Oasis' to this super lucky fangirl!! OMG I WAS SUPER JEALOUS OK! She had so much skinship with the guys!!!! But I guess she deserves it since she was at Mediacorp since 1pm THE DAY BEFORE! Haha. Beast then performed 'Special' and lastly, 'Shock'! There were also mini interviews in between. But of course, we couldn't get enough of the boys so they performed 'Bad Girl' and 'Mystery' for their encore! ^^ It was really AWESOME! They performed ALOT of songs as you can see and there was alot of fan service too!!! Plus, the boys were looking HOT! :D

After the showcase, they continued with the recording of 'Entertainment On 5' so we stayed behind cos they promised us that Beast will be performing again. It was my first time being at a TV show recording so it was kinda cool. Haha. Kit Chan was one of the guests and she came to the recording yesterday. And then, Beast was out again!!! They brought stuff to put in the show's treasure chest. Dong Woon gave his sunglasses, Doo Joon gave his necklace, Hyun Seung gave his watch and Yoo Seob gave a signed T-shirt. GOSH I WILL DO ANYTHING TO GET MY HANDS ON THAT CHEST!!! They had an interview and they showed off their individual charm/skills :D They also played a game with one of the audience members. SO LUCKY! And then they performed again! They performed 'Shock' and 'Bad Girl'! I won't reveal too much here. Just watch 'Entertainment On 5' on Channel 5 (DUH!) next Wednesday (if not, next next Wednesday) from 8.30pm to 9.30pm to catch Beast! It's definitely awesome! ^^

Throughout the whole showcase, I was screaming my lungs out! It was really a good show. My only disappointments are that we didn't get the best view and that no filming or photo-taking were allowed. And I didn't dare to try my luck cos the security where I was sitting was super strict! He caught two girls trying to film the showcase and they were immediately called out and had to delete the videos/pics on the spot o.O I really wanted some pics/videos to keep as memories but oh wells, I still had fun anyways and the memories are all safely recorded in my head :D AHHHHHHHH! GIKWANG!!!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!!! BEASTTTTTT!!!! ^^

And I've got awesome news! More K-pop acts are coming to Singapore! As previously mentioned on my blog, After School and F.Cuz will be coming for the Sundown Festival on 31st July. Lee Min Ho will also be in Singapore for another Meet & Greet session I think. But what sucks, is that you have to buy some LG phone to get tickets. Yes, again -.-" And 2AM will also be coming toooo! I know they're coming for some Sheng Siong organised event but tickets for that are already sold out. And there's also something with Starhub - not too sure about the details. I'm not a Starhub user so it's irrelevant to me. But at least, they will still have the conventional 'buy album to get tickets' method too for a showcase on 10th July. More details can be found on Warner Music Singapore's FB page. I'm not a big fan of 2AM but I'm glad they're coming :D

Oh and yes, yesterday was my one and only hubby's birthday! HAPPY BELATED 22ND BIRTHDAY NICHKHUN OPPAAAA!! ^^ Please come to Singapore soon with the rest of 2PM! And although I'm still a teeny bit jealous, I'll look forward to your first 'We Got Married' episode tomorrow cos you told us to be cool and enjoy the show! SARANGHAE OPPA!

And today is Rain's birthday tooooo! HAPPY 28TH BIRTHDAY RAIN OPPA! I can't wait for your new drama! Definitely gonna watch it. You are definitely one of the best Korean artiste out there. SARANGHAE OPPA! ^^

I'm dead tired. Really. But I had fun with my darlings today!!

First, I met Fiqah and Nad in the morning. It was really a random outing haha. Accompanied Nad to Geylang, had lunch and then just lepak at Starbucks at Woodlands. Though I think we spent more time in the MRT than anywhere else! Haha. And we decided on a date for our chalet (which after some rough calculations is wayyyyy more cheap and worth than going for the stupid BP dinner)!!! Can't waittttt! And can't wait for Beast's showcase this Thursday! In fact, Beast just arrived in Singapore tonight at 9.20PM. Wanted to go welcome them but changed my mind cos I don't want to face the mad crowd. Haha. But hope they had a safe trip here! ^^

After meeting Fiqah and Nad, went home for awhile to freshen up and pick up some stuff. Then went to Marsiling CC for Huda's and Shirin's birthday suprise! There was abit of panic and rushing at first but I think everything turned out quite fine. We originally planned for ONE surprise for the both of them but since Shirin came late, we had to split the surprise into two! LOL. But I think they were touched by our surprise right? Haha. I hope they enjoyed it. We sang our hearts out and had loadssss of fun! Love you guys! ^^

And yes, HAPPY 23rd BIRTHDAY TO LEE MIN HO!!! He's so damn fineeee! Loved him in Boys Over Flowers and Personal Taste!! Can't wait for his next project! ^^ SARANGHAE OPPA!!!

Watched Toy Story 3 today and it was really not bad. I kinda liked it. Actually I've always liked the Toy Story series. But of course, nothing beats the first one. But the third one was still quite nice. Though I can't believe I actually teared up at the end. LOL.

On another note, I really didn't expect to hear about you today. I guess I can take comfort in the fact that you still do remember me, I guess. Even if it's not for reasons I hoped for. I'm not sure what your intentions were but I believe - at least I want to believe - that they're good. Despite everything we've been through, I still believe in you. Even if the world was ending and you told me that I am gonna be ok, I would've believed you. Even if you told me that the moon was square, I would've believed you. That's the kind of person you were to me. And I wish you knew that.

And OMG! Only 4 more days till Beast's showcase in Singapore!!! I can't waaaaiiiitttt!! Anyone knows their arrival details? I wanna welcome them at the airport! HAHA.

YAY! I finally went to rebond my hair today! Now my hair is smooth and straight (: So long frizzy, dry, curly hair. LOL. The last time I rebonded my hair was last September so it has been quite some time and in that span of time, my hair became WILD! Hahaha. And and I have my bangs back! I missed my bangs (:

And I had driving again today. So dreaded it - as always. Haha. But something freaky happened during my lesson this morning. I was just driving in the circuit and suddenly there was alot of commotion on the slope. My instructor, being his super kaypoh self, checked it out and found out that a lady (around her thirties) had high blood pressure in the middle of her test! She must have been damn nervous. The ambulance came into the circuit and everything was fine after that, I hope. My instructor told me that there was even a death once during a test. Really shocking. The tester must have been scared the hell out of his wits! Too much stress is definitely not good. Freaky news aside, I think I saw actor, Julian Hee, at the driving centre just now. Haha no big deal, just that I always thought he was kinda cute (: But it's so weird and rare to see a celebrity at a driving centre. I mean, I would expect them to take private lessons or smth. Haha.

Quite an interesting day today haha. Oh, and I would like to wish Happy 19th Birthday to Nurul Huda dearest!! ^^

I'm baaaaaackkkkk! :D

Haha and it kinda feels nice to be back - mostly because I missed my laptop so much! I felt so deprived of my essential dosage of K-pop goodness (: Yes, call me K-pop crazy cos I AM! ^^

Well, my 4D3N trip to Malaysia was enjoyable and relaxing. It wasn't much but it was a nice and quite-needed getaway. Went with my family and we stayed at Port Dickson for 2 nights and then stayed for another night at KL.

I liked the resort we stayed in at Port Dickson cos we had our own swimming pool in our room! So, most of the time was spent in the room, just chilling either inside or by the pool heh. We didn't really wander out of the resort cos there was plenty to do there. I got a nice relaxing full body massage (: And we went to the beach too. KL was nothing much too, we just did abit of shopping there. What else do you do at KL anyway? Haha. I didn't buy much though. Didn't really feel in the mood heh. All in all, it was a simple yet nice holiday.

I'm too lazy to type anymore about my holiday (it's nothing much anyway) or about anything at all. Haha. Till next time then~~

I had a GREAT time yesterday with my dear unnies, Fiqah and Nad! Even though a certain someone decided not to come last minute... Haha. Anyways, I finally stepped into a cinema after what feels like an eternity! Believe it or not the last movie I watched was 2012 which was like last year? Haha. Don't ask me why though, I have no idea why I didn't feel like going to the cinemas. But watched 'Nightmare On Elm Street' yesterday. It was okayyy, nothing extraordinary. Maybe it's because I watched the original movie before, so the plot was really expected. But it was kinda funny at first when there were only the three of us in the movie theatre cos we were kinda scared! We were seriously happy when more people entered the theatre! Hahaha. Though the group of girls sitting in front of us were kinda annoying, they kept screaming loudly at parts that weren't thaaaat surprising/scary and when they first entered, one of them was being so ridiculous cos she didn't want to sit right at the end -.-" and they were like standing and blocking the screen luh.

We went to Harbourfront Centre after that for a late lunch at Ramen Ten cos I was craving for Jap food. And why did we go all the way to Harbourfront Centre? Cos Nad guaranteed us that there was a store there that sells pretty and cheap accessories. But the store wasn't there anymore! Figures, cos she went there like a year ago! Hahaha. We walked around Vivo for awhile but decided to go to Plaza S'pura since there was nothing much at Vivo which was within our budgets heh. We shopped abit at Plaza S'pura and of course, for K-pop lovers like us, Comics Connection is a MUST! Hehehe. I found my Minho's nametag, now all I need is my Nichkhun's nametag so that I can complete my nametag collection for my top 3 guys ^^ In all, I had loads of fun with my unnies! (:

Oh and I finally cleared all my stages for driving yesterday. I don't wanna go for driving anymore!!! ): Really dreading it, getting lazy. How I wish yesterday was my driving test cos I had like a mock test for stage 5.01 right and I passed it with only 8 points accumulated *sighs sighs*

Oh oh and Jay Park revealed his fanclub name and it's.... Jay Walkers! I am so glad that Bumblebee didn't win cos that would have been to weird! Hahaha. I am proud to be a JAY WALKER who will contribute to the JAY EFFECT! Saranghae Jay Park! ^^

Hmm I don't think I have anything else to update on. Oh but I am going overseas for holiday tomorrow and I'll only be back on 15th June. Sooooo DON'T MISS ME TOO MUCH! Hahaha.

GAHHH! I am totally in LOVE with the drama, 'Cinderella's Sister'!! It's not a funny kind of drama like 'Personal Taste' but it's really niceeee! Plus, Taecyeon is HOT! Haha watching it on KBSWorld and 2 episodes a week is really TORTURE! I feel like just watching it online since it just ended airing in Korea on Thursday but I hate waiting for the episodes to load! ): Nvm I shall be patient ^^ Oh and I'm actually re-watching 'You're Beautiful' since my sister is watching it now for the first time. It's hard for me to keep my mouth shut and not spoil the drama for her HAHA.

Anyway, I've got nothing much to update on but since it's already 6th June...

Booking driving lessons in the morning is so not a good idea. I'M NOT USED TO WAKING UP SO EARLY!!! Haha but on the flipside, I get it over early in the morning and have the rest of the day to enjoy. But ugh, I am seriously so lazy to go for driving which is draining my money too! I want my driving license NOWWWW! :/

Oh and I've got GREAT NEWS! My mind feels so much at ease because... I've secured passes to go for Beast's showcase in Singapore on 24 June!!! ^^ It was such a headache yesterday when I found out that HMV started the pre-orders for the album+ticket yesterday when it was originally supposed to be this Saturday! Rushed down to HMV at town with Fiqah, just to find out that the one at The Heeren disappeared! So we went to the one at Citylink Mall instead. And yes, I found out much later that the HMV at The Heeren moved to 313@Somerset which was so nearby -.-" It's been a really long time since I've been there luh. But but at least we got the album+ticket now! ^^ The album+ticket was already sold out yesterday at the Citylink Mall outlet and HMV just updated that they're also sold out at the 313@Somerset outlet today too! We are seriously lucky! I AM ECSTATIC! Can't wait to see Beast! AHHHH! Ki Kwang Oppaaaa!! Doo Joon Oppaaaaa! ^^

And to all K-pop lovers in Singapore, we are really lucky to have so many Korean celebrities coming to our tiny island! Here's the breakdown of who's coming (that I know of):

1. Super Junior

They're having a showcase on 6 June at Vivo City. But most of you should know by now that in order to get a pair of tickets, you'll have to buy the Samsung Galaxy S Smartphone under Singtel. Pffft. So unfair. Oh and Kyuhyun will not be joining them in Singapore due to health reasons. Get well soon Kyuhyun Oppa!

2. Wonder Girls

They'll also be having a showcase on 18 June. But similar to Super Junior, you'll have to buy some Sony Ericsson phone -.-" Although... the girls will be visiting the M1 shop at Paragon on 17 June at 2PM. So fans who can't afford to go for the showcase will still be able see them (:

3. U-Kiss

They'll be having a meet and greet session at IMM Roof Garden on 20th June and a showcase on 21st June at St James Power Station. VIP Packages are available at HMV (VVIP Packages are already sold out). Each VIP package costs $70 and includes exclusive passes for the meet and greet session AND the showcase, U-Kiss' first full length album, U-Kiss poster, U-Kiss folder, and a chance to be selected to play games with U-Kiss. It sound quite cool, and for $70, it's pretty worth it. Too bad I'm not that big a U-Kiss fan. For more details, go to HMV Singapore's FB Page here.

4. Beast :DD

Beast will be in Singapore for a showcase on 24th June at Mediacorp TV Theatre from 7.30pm to 8.30pm. Unfortunately, the pre-order for the 1000 album+ticket at HMV outlets are already SOLD OUT. Though I am super glad I got mine already! ^^ However, Beast will also be having an autograph session at IMM Roof Garden on 25th June at 7pm. And there's only 1000 album+ticket sold at CD-Rama, and I think you can start buying them already too? They cost $25 each but I'm not too sure if it's sold out already or not. But within the 1000 album+ticket for the autograph session, there are 30 lucky people who will get to take a photo with Beast ^^ For more details, visit Universal Music Singapore Regional's FB page here. Oh and there's also a competition going on where you submit photos or videos to win a chance to meet Beast in person. Closing date is 18 June. Check here for more details. At first I was going to submit a video, but since I'm going for the showcase already, I'm more than satisfied and I shall not waste my time cos I know I won't win. Haha.

5. After School + F.Cuz

They will be performing at the Sundown Festival 2010, along with 2 other Japanese groups, on 31 July, 8pm at Universal Studios Singapore, Resorts World Sentosa. Tickets are $118 and can be bought at SISTIC. Details can be found here. I'm not a big fan of either groups and the tickets are a bit too expensive for me so yeah. Haha.

So yup, that's all the Korean artistes that are coming to Singapore, which I know of. Oh just a few days ago, Girls' Generation's leader Taeyeon was spotted in Singapore with her family for a vacation. COOL HUH. Although people said she looked a bit pissed off cos there were alot of people following her around. People, she was trying to RELAX and HAVE FUN! *sighs* Stalker fans...

Hopefully more and more Korean artistes will be coming to Singapore sooonnn! Waiting for the day when Big Bang and 2PM visit our tiny island! ^^

Omg I can't believe that June is already here! Time really flies huh.

Well, I finally did something fruitful yesterday haha. Me and my sister went to my mum's school to help out with a day camp for the students. And most of you should know that my mum teaches in a special school so the students there are mentally disadvantaged. Basically, we were just helping out with a life skills day camp where the students learn how to fold clothes, wipe off crumbs and spills, as well as sweep and mop the floor. They learnt those basic skills and put them in practice with a relay. We also made fruit salad with ice cream together. And the kids are really CUTE. I had alot of fun and although we were there to help the kids, I think we also learnt alot more from them too.

And I can't believe that there are SO MANY K-pop celebrities coming to Singapore this month!

There's Super Junior who will be having a showcase here on 6 June. Of course, the catch is that only the first 800 to buy the Samsung Galaxy Smart Phone will get a pair of tickets to the showcase. Like I've said a million and one times, this sucks! Cos why would I want to invest in a phone just to see Super Junior performing when I'm only a so-so fan. But it sucks even more when people who bought the phone but are not fans are selling the tix for like $300-$8oo! It's like exploiting the the fans' love for Super Junior to make money! GRRR! And I wouldn't mind fetching them at the airport BUT many people are speculating that they'll be arriving using the VIP exit and if true, I won't get to see them ): *sighs* SOOO, if any of you have any further information about their arrival, PLEASE PLEASE TELL ME!!!!

Wonder Girls are also coming to Singapore again! They'll be having a showcase on 18 June. But just like Super Junior, you'll have to purchase some Sony Ericsson phone to get tickets for their showcase -.-" *sighs* However, they will be at the M1 store at Paragon on 17 June, 2PM so fans who can't get tickets might still be able to see them though I foresee chaos just like when Lee Minho was supposed to visit the Etude House shop at Plaza Singapura last year.

But the biggest news of all is that Beast is most probably coming to Singapore toooo! According to Universal Music, it's confirmed that they'll be coming 23-25 June and that a showcase/fanmeeting is being planned. However, there are no concrete details on how to get tickets. Many people are speculating that there'll be a lucky draw - something like you'll have to buy their album and only lucky people will get tickets. This SUCKS! Firstly, I already HAVE their Asian edition album and secondly, I never seem to have GOOD luck ): There's also a competition going on where you submit photos/videos on why you want to meet Beast and in case this is the only way I can get tickets to see them, I am in the midst of making a video to submit. Just trying my luck heh. Worse comes to worst, there's always the airport unless they're coming through the VIP exit tooo! ): GRRR! PLEASE JUST SELL THE TICKETS NORMALLY!!!!

It was a really nice belated birthday celebration and I'm sorry that things didn't turn out as you guys had planned it BUT I truly enjoyed it still! Karoake-ing at our 'regular spot' is always funnnn! Haha. And I'm really touched that you all came wearing my fave colour - even though I only noticed it much later! Haha

Thank you so much for the really hard to cut and chew but really really nice chocolate-marshmallow cake! I truly appreciate your effort in making the cake cos I know I can't bake a cake to save my life! LOL.

Hmm I probably should update my blog heh. Well, I haven't been updating much cos I didn't want to BORE you with my oh so BORING life. I haven't been up to much as of late, as usual of course, but I'm definitely enjoying this slacker life of mine cos it will end soon.

I went to NUS FASS open house on Saturday and it made me more confused! I have to take at least one introductory module from each of the three baskets - Asian Studies, Humanities and Social Sciences. I've pretty much decided on History for Humanities and Southeast Asian Studies for Asian Studies. But I can't decide on Psychology or Sociology for Social Sciences. Hmm. And this coming from someone who told practically everybody that I wanted to major in Psychology in university heh. Well, I'm having doubts and second thoughts now that I didn't get the MOE Teaching Scholarship (which maybe really did happen for a reason). OH and I want to take Korean at the Centre of Language Studies! Yes, so that I can watch Korean shows WITHOUT subtitles haha. But I think it would be quite interesting to learn not only the language but the culture too and although there are many other foreign languages, I'm most interested in Korean! Like DUH. HAHAHA.

Hmm should I squeeze in a little K-pop update since I don't have anything else to update on about myself? Haha. And actually, I don't really have much K-pop updates too and I'm too lazy to type too much haha. But since there seems to be many health issues with my favourite celebrities, here are a few well wishes. Firstly, GET WELL SOON to SS501's Kim Hyun Joong who recently got into a car accident! Recover well Oppa! I'll be anticipating SS501's live comeback on 4th June on Music Bank! ^^ Also, to my dearest 2PM, you guys need some rest. Junsu Oppa injured his knee and hasn't been performing the past weekend. Wooyoung and his vocal chord nodules. They always say bad news first right? Well I got not-so-great news today. Received a letter and my dad was so sure that it was some insincere, computerised birthday wish from some company or whatnot haha. But when I opened it, my heart kinda sank. I think that insincere birthday wish would have been better. But yeah, basically I found out that I didn't get the MOE Teaching Scholarship. I was a tad disappointed even though I kinda had this feeling that this would happen. The more disappointing thing is that they couldn't have had a better timing. Out of all days, it had to arrive on MY BIRTHDAY. But oh wells, people have been giving me lots of support and well wishes via sms and facebook so I don't feel so bad. It's just a minor setback and I will definitely still work as hard in NUS (:

ANYWAYS, let's put that horrid news aside now. And well, TODAY I TURN NINETEEN! Gosh I'm really that OLD?! Haha. I'm already in the last year of my teenage life! But I really don't feel any more mature though! Nineteen years have really flown by. And I've overcame many obstacles like PSLE, OLEVELS, ALEVELS, HEARTBREAKS, FAILURES and whatnot. And I know that there'll be many more obstacles in time to come but hopefully, nineteen years on this earth has taught me to always be strong and persevere! I will soon start a new chapter of my life in NUS and I hope that it will be just as enjoyable and memorable as the past nineteen years of my life ^^

I didn't do much on my birthday. Mostly slacked at home haha. And had a small celebration with my family. And that's all I could ask for, to celebrate my birthday with the ones I love most (:

Got $$$ from my grandma which I will save in the bank of course hehe. And lastly, I got G-Dragon's Shine A Light Concert DVD (plus a poster too!), 2PM's Don't Stop Can't Stop album, a Big Bang pouch, and SHINee poker cards. THANK YOU FOR ALL THE WONDERFUL PRESENTS!!! Now all I need is someone to wrap up my hubby Nichkhun in a box and mail him to me ^^

Ahhh the weather is so nice ^^ I really love it when it rains. It's so nice and cool tonight, and all I feel like doing is to curl up in my bed doing absolutely nothing (:

Haha but I've been a huge BUM today. My dear laptop has kept me company today! LOL. Been watching Personal Taste the whole day (though most of the time was spent waiting for the videos to load) but now I'm stuck at episode 13 part 6 cos it just won't load! And I can't find any other alternatives for now! Guess I'll have to try my luck again tomorrow ): Episodes 15 & 16 are going to air in Korea this week! But I doubt it'll be the end of the drama cos the producers were considering extending the drama. Extending is good cos I'll get to see more Minho!!! But then again, the ending may get draggy/sucky so we'll see. But the drama is really really good (and not just because Minho and Seulong are in it). I recommend you to watch it ^^ I'm definitely getting the DVD once it's out so that I can rewatch it again and again and add it to my collection of K-Drama DVDs (:

I've also been watching Cinderella's Sister on KBSWorld, which by the way is one of Personal Taste's rival drama in Korea (cos they have same airing timings tho Cinderella's Sister has been reigning in ratings!). I'm only at the sixth episode though. Watching on TV is slow cos they only air two episodes per week but at least I don't have to wait for the stupid videos to load!!!! Grrrr! So far, the drama's quite good. It's abit more on the serious side compared to Personal Taste but still nice to watch :D Eh and I'm also watching this nonsense drama Birth Of A Rich Man on KBSWorld. It's really nonsense but it gives me a good laugh though! Haha just something to help me pass the time :D

Ok what's with all this talk about dramas haha. But yeah that's pretty much what I've been doing these days besides going for driving lessons and tutoring (the only productive things I've been doing LOL). Oh oh and yesterday I did abit of shopping, just abit but it feels gooood! I haven't shopped in quite some time so it was nice just to get new clothes, earrings and my essential Body Shop stuff (:

There's been many comebacks this month. And most recently, Wonder Girls made their comeback with a new song '2 Different Tears' recorded in THREE different languages - English, Korean and Chinese. It's an awesome track! Loving it so much! And I'm also loving MBLAQ's new song 'Y' - it's really catchy! Can't wait for their full album to drop on 18 May, my birthday! *coughs coughs* ^^

Oh and before I go, I want to wish 2NE1 a HAPPY 1st ANNIVERSARY since their debut! They debuted last year on 17 May (which is tomorrow but it's already 12AM in Korea as I type!) and they have rocked the K-Pop world with their unique and powerful style. 2NE1 is undoubtedly one of my fave girl groups out there and I can't wait for their comeback! We Blackjacks will support you girls always! Let's play 2NE1!! ^^

Driving simulator today was kinda fun! Moonwalking pedestrians LOL. Got into an accident about three times? HAHA. And one of the other girls was from NJ too. She knew that I was from Malay Dance and that I'm a friend of Lizhu. I feel kinda bad cos I don't think I've seen her around school before and she said that she's a friend of Lizhu too :/

And congrats to my dearest to my dearest 2PM boys for winning #1 yet again on Music Bank today and also on M! Countdown yesterday :D And please please get well soon to Junsu Oppa!!

And OMG Super Junior's comeback stage on Music Bank today was DAEBAKKKK! Bonamana is dominating twitter and the rest of the internet. Way to go Super Junior!! ^^ And it was recently confirmed that Shindong is dating an ordinary girl. Congrats to him :D It may be a bittersweet news to ELFs but it's nice to see idols dating and not publicly at that. Idols should be allowed to date ^^

First of all, I am absolutely ECSTATIC! Cos I FINALLY received my G-Dragon's 'Shine A Light' Concert DVD (uncut version ok cos i so can haha) and 2PM's latest album 'Don't Stop Can't Stop'!!! It was really unexpected - so unexpected that the delivery man saw me in messy hair and pimple cream all over my face! LOL. It was due to arrive on 22 May but hey, I'm not complaining (: BUT I can't watch or play them yet cos they're supposed to be my birthday presents :/ but oh wells, it's only 7 days away!! *hint hint* ^^

Haven't been up to much lately ever since Aristal ended last week. Been slacking at home mostly. But oh, I did get myself another tutoring job (: It's just an hour every week and I don't earn that much cos the kid is only in primary three but any extra cash is welcomed haha. But the boy is really cute! He's grown up so much since I last saw him - he's my mum's cousin's son. Hmm besides that, I haven't been doing much. I've been helping my brother to prepare for his exams although it's more like making him sit down and study! It's really tiring and it feels like I'm the one sitting for the exams -.-

*Yawns* I'm feeling kinda sleepy cos I woke up at 3am to send off my mum to the airport since she'll be off to the US for a week for some presentation. Hope she has a safe and smooth trip there :D

Oh oh, check out 8eight's new song "The End Is Coming". It is a really nice song - it literally gave me goosebumps. And the MV features my hubby, 2PM's Khun :DDD He really looks angelic. The MV and song complements one another. I almost cried watching the MV! Looks like 8eight will have another hit :D

And great news for me cos Big Bang just released a new song called "Shouts Of The Reds Part 2" :DD The song features Kim Yuna (yes, the figure skater whom I absolutely admire!). The song is really nice even though it's just a song in support of Korea's World Cup campaign. I miss my dear boys!!! :D

First, a very happy 31st birthday to Lee Hyori unni! She may be in her thirties but I really envy how young and pretty and sexy she looks! I wonder what I will look like in my thirties. Hmm... HAHAHA.

And good news for K-pop lovers out there! Today is a day full of comebacks!!! :D

First off, we have Super Junior making a comeback with their new song 'BONAMANA'! It's a bittersweet comeback cos there's only ten out of thirteen members due to Kibum busy acting, Kangin joining the army and Hankyung going against SME ): But nonetheless, I'm glad they're finally making a comeback too even though I'm not a fan (but also not an anti) of them. But hmm... not really feeling their new track yet. Need to see the MV and their performances to fully convince me. But the song does have a kind of bollywood feel to it HAHA. Will it be another hit like 'Sorry Sorry'? Take a listen to the song and judge for yourselves!

Secondly, CNBLUE also released a new track titled 'Love Light' from their upcoming second album! This song isn't their title track but it's a really nice mellow song that Yonghwa composed himself. Yonghwa was reported to be diagnosed with vocal cord nodule last month but their comeback date will proceed on as planned. So get well soon oppa! Enjoy this lovely soothing song for now while we wait for the release of the second mini album and title track on the 19th! :D

Davichi also released their MV for their latest song "Time, Please Stop". This duo has really great vocals and the song is nice (: The MV has a storyline similar to that of Snow White and it stars T-ara's leader, Eunjung. MV and song is nice! So check it out (:

Plus, having missed their initial comeback date on 1st May, SS501 will be making their comeback in the third week of May! Aristal 2010 ended yesterday night. And it was truly an amazing night. It was a wonderful feeling to be in pretty costumes and makeup, dancing on stage with all the lights and props. And most importantly, it was really fun with my fellow grand-seniors and juniors (:

NJC Malay Dance definitely rocked the stage with our passion and dedication. I really hope (though I'm pretty sure) that the audience enjoyed each and every one of our performances just as much as we did. Although when the curtains fell, I didn't quite feel the same joy and excitement like I did last Aristal. However, I think what I felt was a sense of pride - I'm really proud of my juniors for all the hard work. I'm proud of their achievement at putting in the best efforts for the dances, and even more so for feeling like a true dance family. And I'm glad that I was there to be a small part of their achievement :D

Malay Dance has and will always be a passion of mine. And I'm sure that there are more opportunities for me to perform again in the future. But to find another dance family like NJMDS would definitely be quite hard. Last night was most probably my last dance as an NJC Malay Dancer, so the night was all the more memorable and special.

I AM A SUPER HAPPY GIRL!! :DDD

Went out with my family yesterday to Suntec City. Oh, I found out that they have Etude House there too! Haha, my makeup heaven (: But ANYWAY, I got a new iPod Touch and a new digital camera yesterday!!! ^.^

Most of you would know that I already have an iPod Touch right? BUT that was bought two years ago (with my own money ok!) and it's only 8GB which is so not enough space for all my music, videos and apps! Plus, that was the 1st generation iPod Touch so it's lacking many features like the built-in speakers etc. And when I bought it two years ago, it cost me $498! BUT now, my NEW iPod Touch is the 3rd generation, 32GB and only costs $468 (like wth right)! And I'm really really happy. This is (according to my parents), some sort of an early birthday present and also, for my satisfying (?) A Levels results :D Oh yes, I got a new camera too! It's really pretty and cool, and quite pricey too. But my mum will be claiming it from her school or something, so better to get something more expensive right? Haha. The camera is also supposed to be an early birthday present. And though technically it's supposed to be mine, my whole family will use it too - like my mum will be bringing it to US next week for her course (since she's claiming it from her school, she has to bring it luh) haha. But all's well cos I most probably won't be using it aaaallllll the time anyway. Maybe I have 75% ownership? Heh. And at least, we now have a WORKABLE camera for use! :DDD KAMSAHAMNIDAAAA MAMA & BAPAK!!!! ^_^

This week will be a bussssyyyy week I think. There's dance practice tomorrow morning, and I have my interview in the afternoon. WISH ME LUCK! Tuesday is Aristal full dress rehearsal at UCC in the afternoon till night. And Wednesday is Aristal itself and I'll be at UCC from morning all the way to night. CAN'T WAIT! And I have driving lessons on Thursday and Friday afternoons. So can't slack at home as much this week. HAHAHAHA!

And of course, HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY TO 2AM's MAKNAE, JINWOON!!! Can I call you oppa??? Cos you are still older than me, even if it's only 16 days!! HAHA. Stay CUTE always! Can't wait to hear your lovely voice again when 2AM makes a comeback!! (:

Don't think I deserve to celebrate it since I've not been doing much "labour" as of late. Haha.

But what better way to celebrate Labour Day and the first day of May with SS501's teasing of their comeback with their jacket album photos. Well, they originally planned to release their comeback album today (1st May) - anybody can guess why? ^.^ (Hint: something to do with their group name) - but the album will be delayed. So I guess these photos will have to do for now. Plus, the photos look really look mysterious and makes me anticipate their comeback even more! Hyun Joong Oppa!!! Jung Min Oppaaaa!! :D

Plus, HAPPY 24TH BIRTHDAY to 2AM's CHANGMIN! He has an awesome body and an even more awesome voice :D

I can't wait for Aristal which is in only five days! I can't wait to be performing on stage, in pretty makeup and costumes, amidst the stage lighting. I just can't wait to dance! Though I don't have that much choreography in the dance (I'm actually quite thankful for that!), I can't wait really. But I wonder if this will be my last dance performance ever? Hmmm. I hope not. I really can't imagine my life without Malay Dance ever since I started dancing eleven years ago.

In other news, I received my NUS offer letter for FASS this week (after a long wait!) and most likely, I'll be accepting it. Well, I didn't really have to put much thought into it. The fact that I was much more happier and relieved to receive the offer letter from NUS compared to the other universities obviously shows where my heart lies right. Haha. I haven't accepted NUS as of yet, I'll probably do it this weekend - there's quite alot to settle! And I still have an interview for MOE Teaching Scholarship this coming Monday. Wish me luck! And I have yet to withdraw from the interview for NIE/NTU since I'm going to accept NUS. Haish. So much to do haha.

Today is a wonderful day! ^.^

Firstly, the weather is sooo nice and cool. Makes me want to curl up in my bed and sleep all day :D LOL.

Secondly, I've got great news! I FINALLY got an offer for NUS FASS after a super duper long wait. Well, I didn't really get the official letter YET. I checked my email and I received some information about NUS financial aid. I found it quite odd to be receiving financial aid without being offered to a course in NUS so I decided to check my application status online. And I found out that I have been offered into NUS FASS! The letter was sent on 23 April so I guess that's why I haven't gotten the letter yet, since it was sent over the weekend. But nonetheless, I am really really happy and relieved. I still have a decision to make between NTU or NUS though I feel more inclined to the latter heh. And also, today I got an email with details for my interview for the MOE Teaching Scholarship/Award this Wednesday morning. Wish me all the best for the interview! Though I'm not yet 100% keen on taking up the scholarship if I get offered, maybe 95% only, I'm still going to try my best and make a decision later! ^.^

And and, toDAE is a very special DAE! Cos it's DAEsung's 21st birthDAE! Hahaha. Happy birthday to Big Bang's very own smiling angel :D Don't ever say that you're not as good looking as other guys cos you're just perfect the way you are, with a smile that brightens up everyone's day and an awesome voice that melts hearts everywhere. Yesterday was a tiring day! Had dance practice in the morning/afternoon but I had to leave earlier because of my psychometric test. I was all sweaty and tired but I had no choice but to rush and get prepared for the test.

And ugh. The test did not go very well I think. The first part of the test was 40mins long and it involved some puzzles and patterns. The first few questions were ok but they got increasingly hard so for most of them, I'm depending on my luck! Haha. The second component was numerical questions aka MATH! It was 30mins long and I was dying. I couldn't finish it luh and I couldn't really get the answers for most of them. My mental calculations suck! ): But what can you expect from an ARTS student like me! Third component had something to do with reading and reasoning and whatnot, and it was arguably much better for me. And the final part was a personality quiz which of course was the easiest since there's no right or wrong answer haha. The whole test lasted from 2pm all the way to 5.30pm. I could've died. I was so tired. The place was so cold. I unfortunately had a bad stomachache throughout the whole test. So I just hope everything turns out fine. I have an interview for this same MOE Teaching Scholarship this Wednesday. Soooo PRAY HARD FOR ME PEOPLE! (:

I am currently enjoying some peace and quiet now cos my brother is out for awhile with my dad to get lunch. I've been spending the whole morning giving him English tuition cos he has his English exam tomorrow. But he won't focus! I don't know what to say. Haish. Little brothers are soooo irritating! :/

Oh and last but definitely not least, HAPPY 23RD BIRTHDAY JAY PARK! You are truly an amazing person with AWESOME dance moves, an AWESOME voice, an AWESOME body and basically everything about you is AWESOME! I will always love&respect you and whatever you do! Have fun on your birthday and stay happy and strong always! I'm sure the One Day boys remember your birthday too right? (: SARANGHAE JAY! ^.^

Today was spent making and answering a million and one calls. It really was a headache! I really had so many things on my mind, that my head felt like bursting! But after everything was FINALLY sorted out, I'm feeling much better and more secure. So I have a Psychometric Test tomorrow afternoon for the MOE Teaching Scholarship. Hopefully, I don't turn out to be too psycho! LOL. Then, I have an interview next Wednesday morning for the MOE Teaching Scholarship. And finally, I have an interview for the Bachelor of Arts (Edu) at NIE/NTU which I won't withdraw from (unlike SMU's offer heh) cos I might consider this course since it's really very attractive. All my tuition fees will be paid for, which is kinda equivalent to getting a scholarship, plus I'll even get a salary! AWESOME right. Although it means that my career is more or less set on teaching, I don't mind cos I think I'll end up teaching anyways :D But I'll see first. I've gotten all these calls and letters but still no news from NUS ): Still waiting patiently... Hmm but do wish me luck for all my tests and interviews! I hope they'll all go well (: OH BUT SHIT. My interview for the BA(Edu) is on the same day as Aristal (5 May)!!!! GAHHHH. What luck I have. But the interview is in the morning so it's not that baadddd right :/

My fingers are kinda bruised due to dance since we have to hit the kompang. But it's not too bad luh unlike some people HAHA. And yeah, yesterday travelled all the way to school for dance practice and when I was already reaching school, I was informed that the coach wasn't coming! :/ Wasted like 2 hours of slacking haha. But it's ok luh. At least I got some exercise and I got to recap my steps (which I forgot quite alot because of my failing memory!). And I witnessed a once-in-lifetime phenomenon yesterday when Saiful actually hit the kompang and broke (?) it! Haha his hand went through the kompang, tearing the super tough material kompangs are made of! LOL. Seriously funny. And his reaction was hilarious!

And I was watching 2PM's comeback stage on M! Countdown yesterday. They performed Don't Stop Can't Stop and Without U. It was HOT! Even though the boys were disappointed with their own performance, I still thought it was great but there's always room for improvement! And I like Khun's hair in Don't Stop Can't Stop but in Without U, urm... the stylists should reconsider. Haha but he still looks hot of course. ^.^

Enough said. I wanna go watch episode 7 of Personal Taste now! ^.^ And I can't wait to watch Cinderella's Sister which will start airing on KBS World next week! Taecyeon Oppa~ ^.^ Oh and Jang Geun Suk is in Singapore now right? Hope he has a good time here (:

I haven't really been thinking much about university admissions, which I think I should, until today when my driving instructor asked me which school I'm going to since I told him that I'm waiting to enter university. And I didn't quite know what to answer him. I told him it was either NTU or NUS when I haven't even gotten an offer from NUS. I'm still patiently waiting for a letter from NUS, with pleasant news of course. Patience is virtue, Lissya. And of course, I have my fingers crossed!

GAHHHH! 2PM just released their new MV for "Without U" and it's AWESOME. They also released their 3rd Single Album: "Don't Stop Can't Stop". So far, my favourite song is "Without U" and I'm loving Nichkhun's rap. Everything happens for a reason~ But I'm sure after a couple more times of listening, the other songs will grow on me too. And I think they're brave to address all the hate and controversies and whatnot especially in "Don't Stop Can't Stop". 2PM FIGHTING. Forever I'll be a HOTTEST.

): My muscles are aching again today. Must be due to the tiring dance practice yesterday and since we were only properly choreographed into the dance yesterday, I guess my muscles got a shock! Especially my butt! Haha it's aching the most! But at least the choreography is more or less done :D And we got to practice dancing with the kompang yesterday. Though my fingers got kinda numb yesterday after holding it for too long heh.

Ooh I checked my account balance and my last pay for my teaching internship is finally in! Haha it feels like I'm being paid for just slacking at home. But I'll try my best not to spend it unnecessarily. Must save what little money I have since I'm jobless now haha. Though I really really want to buy G-Dragon's Shine A Light Concert DVD! :/

Oh and I've got awesome news for K-Pop lovers! U-Kiss might be coming to Singapore!! Alexander of U-Kiss recently tweeted, "To all our foreign fans! It seems like U-KISS would be going to the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong for concert, showcase, etc~". And it has already been confirmed that they will be having a fan-meeting at our neighbouring country, Malaysia, on 19th June at KLCC. I'm not a big fan of U-Kiss but they've gained my attention and interest ever since their recent image change for Man Man Ha Ni and so on. So hopefully we'll hear news of them coming to Singapore soon! :D Plus, Jang Geun Suk, star of drama You're Beautiful will be in Singapore this month too! He will be meeting his fans at the Rock Auditorium at Suntec City on April 24th where he will sing, dance and entertain his fans up close and personal. A day before on the 23rd, he will have a fan signing event at the IMM Garden Plaza. I'm not going cos well I'm not his biggest fan and the tickets are pretty costly for just an average fan like me. Haha but I'm sure he has many fans here that'll support him :D But I'm really glad that more and more Korean stars are coming to Singapore :D

Not much to update on about myself. Hmm... Well, had driving yesterday and I think that's the only time I've been out this week. Haha HOW SAD is that. But anyway, yesterday was my 6th lesson I think and I've cleared till stage 2.02. Is that a good pace? Haha I don't know but I just hope that I can get my license before I start university so that I don't have to bother about it anymore. Plus maybe I can drive myself to school that is if I have a car haha.

Ok I know I've got a lot of time on my hands. But I don't spend all of it on my laptop or watching TV okay. I've been helping my grandmother to cook and at the same time, learn a thing or two about cooking. Yes, me cooking. It's quite unbelievable right. But I figured since I have the time now and besides, I need to learn it sooner or later for future use haha. Besides cooking, I do occasionally clean the house :D I sound like I'm training to be a housewife! LOL. And I've also been busy sorting out my music, videos and whatnot on my laptop cos I'm running out of memory space! Yikes! But it really is quite tiring to sort them out heh.

and OMG OMG OMG! I am totally stoked! 2PM just unveiled their MV teaser for their new single. Looks like the song will be called Without U? They all look so damn hot. Still wish they would move away from this dark emo concept. But then I'm just glad they're back! :DD Can't wait!!

And in more good news... Big Bang will be releasing their 4th Japanese Single! Wish they were back in Korea but still, I'm glad to hear them with new activities. Their new single will be called 'Tell Me Goodbye' and it will also include their song 'Hands Up' which is used for some Japanese TV programme! Plus the limited edition CD+DVD will include 'Tell Me Goodbye' music video and making video AND a T.O.P keychain (I think it's only T.O.P cos Iris is playing in Japan now and he is one of the actors)! AWESOME. I so want it nowww! And I still want GD's Shine A Light Concert DVD which will be released on 20 April! GAHHHH! Need money.

And G-Dragon recently said that he has been working on Big Bang's album and it should be released in August or September though there might be a bit of delay since the members are working on solo albums too. Ahhh! I can't wait. But please not too many delays ok! :D And the picture below could be related to Big Bang's new concept for their Japanese single though nothing's been confirmed. And I decided that I won't be going for the SMU interview today. Cos well like I said, SMU doesn't really suit me and I still have NTU's offer so yup. Hopefully, I'll get an offer from NUS soon or I won't have any decisions left to make heh.

Hmm and now for K-Pop updates cos there's just so much good news! Plus, I don't have much to update about my own life right now heh.

First, 2PM released their official comeback photo and the boys are looking fineeee! My hubby, Khun, with grey hair? HOTNESS. And everyone else is looking super HOT too! Though I'm a teeny bit disappointed cos they seem to be going for the emo/dark concept yet again but still I can't wait for 19 April now! But I wonder if "Don't Stop Can't Stop" is the name of their new song or album? Hmm I guess we'll have to wait and see.

And OMG the rumours were true! Jay Park will star in the movie "Hype Nation" and is confirmed to Korea in June! DAEBAK. This is truly AWESOME. I can't wait for it! Read the article below for more details:

Rumors linking Jay Park to the upcoming movie Hype Nation have been floating around the kpopverse for a few months now, and it looks like they were true after all – it’s been confirmed on Nate News that Jay will not only have a role in Hype Nation, but star as the main character of the film!

Hype Nation will be film about breakdancers of the East and West, making the Korean-American Jay Park the perfect fit for the main character role. He will also be participating in the movie’s OST, thereby showing off his vocal talents on top of this acting debut. Furthermore, it’s been revealed the dialogue has been scripted in English as the movie is geared toward a worldwide market. Furthermore, due to the fact that 70% of the filming is scheduled to take place in Korea, Jay Park will return to Korea in June.

Jay Park will be working in association with Young Lee, an American film producer. One source revealed that Jay and Young Lee were longtime friends, and that Lee had first offered Jay the role back when he was still with 2PM.

It’s also been reported that Hype Nation’s female lead character has yet to be determined. “Producer Young Lee will be returning from the United States in late April, so he will decide at that time,” one source said. As you may recall, Son Dambi was originally cast to be part of this movie as the female lead named Esther, so it’s safe to assume that her replacement will play a character of the same name.

Coincidentally, 2PM will be in America during June, as they will be opening the Wonder Girls‘ Wonder World tour in the States for the first portion of the month.

First a personal Youtube account, and now a full movie… looks like Jay Park really is returning to the spotlight. Although Hype Nation suffered financial woes last year, I’m sure many people are doubly interested in the movie now. Furthermore, this will mark Jay’s Hollywood debut and return to Korea. Gahhh! I can't wait for episodes 5 & 6 of Personal Taste to air!!! It's a freaking funny drama with many touching scenes that really caught me off guard so I cried - alot. But then again, I always cry alot when watching dramas haha. And I can't wait for 17 April for the first episode of the HahaMong Show to air cos Seungri & Daesung will be on it! Together with SHINee's Key, MBLAQ's G.O, SNSD's Sooyoung & Hyoyeon and the Brown Eyed Girls. So many teasers, it's driving me crazy waiting! It's so rare to see the Big Bang members on Korean TV these days, much less a variety show! So I really really can't wait! ^.^

I got a call from SMU this morning (which btw woke me up from my beauty sleep! haha) and the person said I am shortlisted for an interview tomorrow at 4.30pm for the School of Social Sciences. But I'm still not sure if I want to go for it or not. Hmm. I've been deliberating this ever since I got the call this morning. Why shouldn't I go? Cos I'm honestly lazy and it's so troublesome haha. But also because, I already got a letter of acceptance for NTU Psychology (which doesn't require any interview whatsoever heh) and between NTU and SMU, I'd choose NTU cos well I don't feel that the style of learning in SMU quite suits me. And then why should I go? I don't know. Maybe for the experience? Haha ok I think my mind is more or less made up to not go but I can't help to still be doubtful. Hmm...

Oh and I've got AWESOME news regarding comebacks! 2PM will release their new single on 22 April and they will restart their full promotional schedule from next week! I can't wait! :D Although I honestly think they won't be any match up against big names like Rain *fangirl scream* and Lee Hyori, it would be nice to see them performing on stage again :D And don't worry about the haters 2PM, you have fans like me (: Plus, YG Entertainment recently announced comeback plans for their artists. Se7en, who has been busy in the US the past years, will be making a comeback this June! Gummy, who last released an album with a feature by T.O.P. in 2008, will be returning in early May with her new mini-album. 2NE1 meanwhile will make their comeback this summer with a new mini-album and it will have a different charm from 2NE1’s usual music. I have high expectations from these girls haha. And finally the news that everyone is waiting for, “Although Big Bang did not release a new album in Korea last year, they will release a new mini-album this summer and near the end of the year. After Big Bang’s new album has been released, member Taeyang’s new solo album will be revealed as well.” AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME! I wish summer would come already! Haha.

Oh and I just finished watching You're Beautiful right. It's an AWESOME drama. So this is really good news cos I absolutely loooveeee the A.N.Jell and their songs even if they're just a fictitious band. And although the drama ended its run last December, an official website for A.N.Jell was revealed in the past week before being officially unveiled to the public on April 12th. There are all sorts of information about A.N.Jell like their profile, album, schedules, etc information and it is a definite visit for any hardcore fan of the drama. So check it out :D

Ok this is a day late but YAY! Huiwei's birthday surprise was a success! We planned a sweet surprise for her yesterday before dance since it was her birthday. Saniah and Hazi even came down to join in the celebrations. And I'm glad that Huiwei enjoyed it. We put in alot of effort into it ok! Haha. And finally, yesterday, we were choreographed into the dance even if its only like three eights. And honestly, we all agreed that we don't want a big part in the dance cos we won't have time to practice together and stuff. So let's hope that will happen haha.

Oh and I found out something quite amusing yesterday when I was at IMM. I was at Popular and was just looking at the K-Pop CDs at the CD-Rama section and I saw SHINee's '2009, Year Of Us' Mini Album. Nothing amusing right? But when I took a careful look at it, I realised that they were the leftover albums from SHINee's album showcase at IMM last month cos the tickets were still inside LOL. So if you didn't go for the showcase, you can always buy these 'leftover' albums and pretend to people that you did go for it haha. And the album costs about $25 so I guess the ticket costs about $10 then hmm...

Ok enough said. Just a short update cos I have so many performances to watch and download now that Music Core and Inkigayo are back on! ^.^

Ahh loving the free time I have now (: And I didn't realise that I'm so free that I'm actually watching three Korean dramas at the same time! Oh wait. Until Tuesday night, I was actually watching four dramas at the same time! Hahaha. I was watching God Of Study on KBS World and it aired its last episode on Tuesday. Really nice (: I recommend you to watch it, especially if you're taking some major exam this year or just need some encouragement to get through all the academic pressure. Plus, Yoo Seung Ho is a bonus eyecandy ^.^ And now, I'm watching Personal Taste, a new drama featuring Lee Minho and 2AM's Seulong. I'm only done with the first episode since it only started airing in Korea last week. But so far so good (: Hmm I'm re-watching Boys Over Flowers (cos it's just so nice and I love the eyecandy haha) which I have one more episode left. And I'm watching You're Beautiful on my newly-bought DVD and I have 2 episodes left. It's sooooo nice (: I need to find more dramas to watch sooon! Haha.

Oh yes, two days ago, I received a letter from NTU and guess what? I got accepted into NTU's Psychology. Well, I'm glad that I got into the course of my choice but I'm not quite sure if NTU is where I want to go. I'll wait to see if I get any other offers from the other two universities (hopefully) and I'll make a proper decision then. So yeah, even though the first window of the acceptance period is open today, I'm definitely in no rush to accept NTU's offer just yet. But at least, even if I don't receive anything from the other two universities, I still have NTU. At least I'm kinda safe already right? Heh. And for those who haven't receive any offers yet, don't worry! I'm sure your letter is on its way, just blame the postman for being slow! Haha.

I am loving today's weather (: It's so nice and cool, makes me want to just curl up in my bed and do nothing haha. Even though that's pretty much what I've been doing these days lol.

Currently, I've got this MV on replay. It's so awesome! Gives me goosebumps every time I watch it. Though I agree that the shirt-ripping part may be kinda extra but I enjoy it nonetheless! Haha. Plus the song is really really nice. He's got the body, the vocals and the moves. Ahhh can't wait for his comeback performances! (:

Hmm and other than watching a whole lot of Korean dramas and shows, I've really been doing nothing much. And I should stop spending so much whenever I go out. I'm not working and yet am spending more than I need to :/ Oh but I did have my first tutoring session with my brother today haha. It didn't feel like tuition at all luh. But oh wells, at least I'm getting paid for it haha. And it's not too bad cos it's not like I spend 24/7 cooped up at home. I do go out for driving lessons, dance practices, meet ups with friends and whatnot. So I'm technically not rotting at home ALL the time heh.

Oh and I heard that TVXQ will be stopping their group activities as reported on their official Japanese website. They've asked for support for the members' solo activities. So is this really the end for TVXQ? Well, I'm not really a fan of TVXQ but this is quite saddening. I do acknowledge how HUGE they are in spreading the Hallyu craze. So I hope this news is only temporary and we'll be able to see them together as five once again. Cassiopeians, HWAITING!

And I recently found out something quite cool. There are actually quite a number of idol group members who are born in 1991. And in Korea, if you're born in the same year, you can be considered friends. So I guess I have quite a number of idol 'friends'. Hehe. And for the guys, they include 2AM's Jinwoon, SHINee's Key and Minho, Beast's Dong Woon, MBLAQ's Mir, FT Island's Jae Jin and CNBLUE's Min Hyuk and Jung Shin. For the girls, there are 2NE1's CL, SNSD's Seohyun and Kara's Hara and Nicole. Sooo cool (:

Another K-Pop update! Cos well there's nothing interesting going on with me right now, and I just couldn't resist blogging about this!!

G-Dragon's "Shine A Light" full concert live album is out! And it is full of pure awesomeness! I am especially loving the bonus cd which is full of remixes. And the highlight is of course 'Heartbreaker' feat. FLO RIDA! It is really AWESOME. It will definitely shut up all those antis and haters out there who accused the song of plagiarising Flo Rida's 'Right Round'. What better way to silence all those accusations than to have Flo Rida himself feature in the song itself right. Listen to the track below. It's awesome beyond words :D

And plus, the album consists of no actual new songs but it was still able to grab the #1 spot as soon as it was released both on Daily Album Charts and Real-time Album Charts. It managed to beat out albums from other artists such as After Shool’s ‘Bang’ and Epik High’s ‘Epilogue’. This proves once again his impact on the k-pop scene and it’s sales. What is even better is that the profits of the selling of this album will all go to charity, and if it’s at number 1 then it must mean that it is selling lots of copies that will further help the poor and the ones in need. SARANGHAE JIYONG OPPA! ^.^

And in other awesome news, Rain (Bi) finally released his title track "Love Song" from his special album "Back To The Basic". It's a ballad but it really reminds us that Rain has such a beautiful voice and that there are so many different sides to him than just a beastly HOT dancing machine haha. The song is really beautiful and I'm loving it soooo much! Finally Rain is back in the K-Pop scene. I had a great weekend. Tired, but still great!

Had dance on Saturday and though I feel a slight dread going for dance on Saturday afternoons cos it's such an odd timing and disrupts whatever plans I may have, I still enjoyed it (: We, senior dancers, are going to dance ZAPIN! Together with some of the junior girls and guys. I am so thankful that the steps are not very physically demanding, at least not yet. I always enjoy dancing even though I was lost most of the time haha. And plus, at least I didn't wake up with muscle aches the next morning! But hmm, since there isn't dance this Saturday, I hope my body doesn't slack off too much for the next two weeks! Heh.

And I had a great time shopping over the weekend too! Retail therapy is always the best right? ^.^ After dance on Saturday, went to Vivo and then Suntec with my family and I bought a pair of shoes and a super cool cardigan. Plus, my mum said that the shoes were on her (; Then, yesterday, met up with Azimah and Arifah (who I haven't met I ages!). We ate a late lunch while catching up on lost time. Then we window shopped at Far East but couldn't find anything nice to buy. And so, we walked to Wisma Atria and me and Azimah bought a dress each (: My mum told me not to spend any more on clothes cos I have too many clothes at home but I just couldn't resist! Haha. Then we walked around some more and decided to get some ice cream. We were so resistant to eating at Mcdonalds at first but guess what, in the end we had our ice cream there. Hahaha. It wasn't a super special gathering but I still had fun (: Don't forget our Ju-on movie outing babes! ^.^

And as you can tell from the time of this post, I am not working today haha. And honestly, I really don't mind if no school calls me up for relief. I earned $20 yesterday for tutoring my sister for around an hour since her tutor couldn't make it and she had some questions. Not too bad lah considering that I was surfing the internet while she did her questions haha. And I'm going to start tutoring my brother soon since my mum just bought a whole stack of assessment books for him. Muahahaha. Plus, I'm still waiting for 13 Apr to get my pay for the first two weeks of March. So as you can see, I don't really need (or want to) find a job right now ^.^

Ahhhhhh! I can't wait to watch the next episode of God Of Study tonight on KBS World!! And I can't wait for Rain's comeback this Thursday!! *cue in fangirl scream* And there's news that Daesung will be singing a duet with Hyori for one of her songs in her upcoming 4th album! *cue in another fangirl scream* I love Hyori, she's so pretty! And of course, Daesung is always loved (: And Jay Park (or Jaebeom as many of us would know him by) will be making his first major public appearance (apart from 2PM) in New Jersey for some event on 3 April. Really glad to see him still pursuing his love for music and performing. I wish I could watch him ): Hope there'll be some fancams though!

If you've read my previous post, you would know that fans have created an album dedicated for Jaebeom. And guess what the man himself has personally thanked his fans through his Youtube channel. He said:

Aww... He's just so adorable. But unfortunately, the release of this fan-created album has been cancelled due to this reason:

Initially planned for a release on the 26th, self-created album dedicated solely on Jaebeom has now been canceled indefinitely.

As reported, the album, For_Jay, With All My Heart, has already caught the eyes of the man himself – Jay even left a thoughtful comment to express his gratitude toward the fans through his Youtube channel.

On the 25th, the head of the community announced,

“The fan-created album production has been canceled. All the donations collected for the production will be donated to charity.”

The production was canceled due to the sticky situation Jaebeom is in at the moment in regards to his relation to the rest of 2PM members.

People who still favor the remaining members of 2PM felt concerned toward the album release, for it might spark yet another battle between the fans.

To look on the positive side, the original intention of creating the album as a gift to Jaebeom has been fulfilled. Although quite disappointing, we wish the best of luck to every contributors of the production.

But oh wells, it's the thought that counts right? :D

Ok in other news, I haven't been called up for relief this past week. So I've been pretty much slacking at home haha. I've had time to watch shows that I've always wanted to watch so all's good :D Though I want to start giving tuition to my brother so that I can at least earn some money but he doesn't want to! He only listens to my mum who's overseas now (but will be back tonight!) so I have to wait for my mum to start tutoring him. Besides, my mum will be paying me so I have to wait for her to come back anyways. Haha. But for my brother, honestly, I don't think I'll be tutoring him - more like getting him to sit down and study. He's so playful! And his mid-year exams are like approaching already! Tsktsk. And recently, I found out that he's been keeping pet terrapins at home! Haha. That is on top of his pet centipedes. Yup, centipedes. Gross right.

Ok I just couldn't resist blogging about this. There's many rumours out there about Jaebeom, or should I say Jay Park, stating that he'll be returning with a new record and that he'll be taking part in ABDC (America's Best Dance Crew). I do hope that they're true cos at least we can see more of Jaebeom and continue supporting him. But this latest news definitely affirms the fans' undying love and support for 2PM's ex-leader Jaebeom. Cos they actually released a self-created album dedicated to Jaebeom, and all the proceeds will go to charity under Jay's name. Isn't it just so awesome? I wonder if Jay himself will buy the album heh. But here's the original article:

Professional artists aren’t the only ones capable of releasing fine art music; mighty fans are too. The album titled For-Jay, produced / written / composed / sung by fans of Jaebeom, was officially released through websites where k-pop music is sold.

The project to create such an album began back in January when a netizen opened up a cafe to recruit musically talented fans. These hardcore fans then self-created all the consisting tracks and even the teaser videos by hand.

The tracks include, For You (너에게), One Step at A Time (한걸음씩), and With All My Heart.

The head of the community revealed, “This album has nothing to do with the ongoing boycotts. It is our last gift to Park Jaebeom. All the incoming profits made through the sales will go directly to charity under Jay’s name.”

It's really nice to finally have time to do practically nothing. I know I may sound like some lazy bum but who cares. It's really great ^.^ But it's not like I don't make any effort to find work. I did email around eleven primary schools to ask if they have vacancies for relief teachers. So I'm waiting for them to call me up if there's anything. And since I have to be at the school like super fast when they call me in the morning, I actually have a daily routine. I'll like wake up at around 6.30am to bathe and eat breakfast. I even prepared a set of 'teaching clothes' and my bag all filled with essential stuff so that I can just change into them and grab them when a school calls me. And if no one calls me by 7.30am, I'll go back to sleep. Awesome plan right? Haha that's what I've been doing since Monday (:

But seriously, I'm not that eager to work right now. I just want to enjoy my break. The reason why I applied for relief at primary schools only is more for the experience. Plus, the workload for relief is much less than when I was a teaching intern, I believe. Besides, my mum said she would pay me if I tutor my brother (who's in Sec 1) so why not? I think it'll actually be harder than teaching other people's kids cos my brother hardly listens to me haha.

Oh and today I went for my second driving lesson. It was quite funny luh cos I kept driving onto the curb but my instructor said I can start driving out of the circuit next lesson onwards o.O He says I'm ready but I don't feel that I am haha. And my instructor was so funny lah. He seemed to be so preoccupied throughout my lesson and when I took a glance, he was actually sewing his umbrella! Hahaha so cute!

And last but not least, HAPPY 26th BIRTHDAY TO PARK BOM OF 2NE1!! Bom with the best vocals in the group, and one of the best vocals in the K-Pop world to me, Bom with the sexiest legs in 2NE1, Bom who loves corn and bread, Bom who is too childish to be 26, Bom who's really very pretty (surgery or not). Body. Aching. Every. Where.

Gosh my body has not ached this much since a looong time ago. And this is all a result of dance yesterday after not dancing for what seems like eons. Although dance was only 3 hours long (which is standard training time), it was really tiring. We (and I mean the seniors) kinda forgot how dance required so much memory work. And honestly, I already felt tired doing just warm-up. Haha. But it was nice to dance again. I almost forgot how much I really love Malay Dance. It was nice to be with my fellow dancers and to be exercising and working up a sweat. I just hope my tailbone won't act up again so that I can dance all they way to Aristal at least. And I'm really loving our exclusive seniors' mickey family tee! So cute (:

And today was my first driving practical lesson. It was ok I guess. Though for most of the lesson, I was just going round and round and round (cue U-Kiss' song!) and I kinda got bored towards the end. But I'm not saying I was an expert at it luh. Haha.

And finally, I'm more or less done with university applications for admissions and scholarships and whatnot. I've been busy the past week applying for whatever there is, wrapping up my teaching internship stuff, studying for my driving (which btw, I passed my FTT if I have yet to mention it haha). I haven't quite enjoyed being jobless haha. But yeah, I've emailed 11 primary schools in my area to ask if they have vacancies for relief teaching. Only two responded but they told me that they didn't have any vacancies but would put me in the school system and call me if anything comes up. So I guess I just have to be prepared every morning in case I have to rush off to a school for relief. I know that some of you might think I wasted a good chance by choosing to end my internship but I just need a break and I don't mind ad-hoc relief teaching plus I really really want to experience how teaching in a primary school is like. I know it might not necessarily be easier but I just want the experience (: Though I really really don't mind being jobless for a little while longer haha.

Hmm I don't think I have anything else to update about... Oh! I can't wait for the next episode of 'God Of Study' tomorrow ^.^ It's a really really good drama. Episode 10 was awesome! Cos it gave me some hope for the couple I'm supporting (but I'm sure and know that won't end up together in the end BOO!) haha. I am so buying the DVD when it comes out so that I can rewatch it over and over again. And I'm currently rewatching Boys Over Flowers cos it's just so awesome! Then I'll be watching You're Beautiful on DVD ^.^ And I'm waiting for Cinderella's Sister to air on KBS World cos it's Taecyeon's (from 2PM) acting debut. Plus, I wanna watch Personal Taste too which will air in Korea on 31 March cos there's Lee Minho (and he's acting as guy who pretends to be gay!) and Seulong (from 2AM). So many awesome K-Dramas to watch! Can't wait! :DD

Urgh. I am not having a good day. I need to study for my FTT tomorrow. I'm having really bad cramps. And I feel like I have so much stuff to do with university applications and wrapping up my internship stuff and finding vacancies for relief teaching :/

Soon after Jay Park / Jaebeom uploaded a video on Youtube featuring his own rendition of B.O.B’s Nothin’ on You, an immense number of people flooded the account’s profile page for more information on Jaebeom. In fact, Jay’s Youtube account already has nearly 20,000 subscribers after only three hours! He’s only got one video up, but it’s already received over 150,000 views and five thousand comments (and counting), undoubtedly making this one of today’s hottest kpop issues.

Many people, including Hottests and non-Hottests, are relieved to be able to see this popular figure seemingly healthy & relaxed in his video. Fans worldwide are also ecstatic about this new connection to Jay, since they can now directly post comments on his page and follow his Youtube account & actions (quite literally – you can even see his most recent sign-in time in the profile box. Creepy…).

Merely hours after Jay posted his cover on Youtube, he also added the following blurb to his profile page:

During the aftermath of the JYPE-Hottest conference that took place a few weeks ago, there were many so-called “insider” rumors going around that JYP Entertainment was going to force Jaebeom to tell fans to support 2PM. This is purely my personal opinion only, but it seems like Jaebeom’s supportive words are genuine, and that he is relatively comfortable with where he is right now. For those of you that have turned away from the rest of 2PM/1:59PM/6PM/what have you, have your opinions regarding the male group changed at all after Jay’s message or do you stand by your earlier opinions?

And in more AWESOME news, G-Dragon is cleared of all his charges! I'm really relieved for him, though I never once doubted him :D Check out the articles below:

Big Bang’s G-Dragon was hotly reprimanded for having inappropriate performances in front of many young people during his concert in 2009. His concert was held in last December and he went under investigation for his sexual dance and the prohibited performances of songs that had been banned.

But on the March 16th, it was announced G-Dragon was cleared of charges regarding children’s protection law and the performance of banned songs.

YG Entertainment stated that his songs Korean Dream, She’s Gone and his album Heartbreaker got banned because of its ratings, but his concert wasn’t banned itself so it didn’t technically break any laws regarding performing. His concert was never initially marked with a certain rating, so his performances had the freedom to cross some lines. In conclusion, it was concluded that there was absolutely no reason for the concert to be charged against for its appropriateness.

As for the “bed scene” performance of Breathe, it was decided that the performance was just trying to express the song dramatically, so it wasn’t counted as a lewd conduct.

However, the police demanded around 3,000,000 won ($2,600 USD) as a fine; as a performer, G-Dragon and his associated staff have taken care of the matter.

YG Entertainment also said, “[The issue] didn’t go to court or anything so we consider it basically a pretrial disposition.”

The investigations took place on the 15th when police realized he didn’t technically violate any sort of law under children’s protection law and performance of banned songs. However, he is free of charges regarding performance laws. The non-edited versions of his concert DVDs will only be sold to people older than 18 years of age. Minors will have to buy the edited versions.

First the plagiarism controversy was essentially cleared with Flo Rida’s announced collaboration with GD, and now his concert scandal has come to a close; quite relieving for fans, right?

I'm only going to update on one thing today and that is SHINee!! :D

So it started from yesterday. Met Nad at IMM at freaking 6.30am to queue to get the album. It was super dark luh. A group of people asked us to register and we just did as told. Apparently, we were no 857 and 858. Well, we of course doubted that the numbers we had were official and I'm still pretty sure they weren't. But it did help cos the situation was waaaayyyy more organised than the last time at Lot One. Fans were actually queuing up in an orderly manner all the way to level 3. So I'm glad for that. After about 4 hours of waiting and queuing, we finally got our albums which costs $35 each. Wasn't too excited about the album cos I already have it, but more happy for the entry pass (: And after an hour or so, we went back to see if they were still selling the album so that I could buy for my sister. And yup, they still were. They even asked if I wanted to buy one or two albums. Haha. It's such a contrast from the fan signing event at Lot One the other time cos there were way too many people but limited albums. Now, there are more than enough albums but not as many people buying heh. In fact, I heard that when they closed the booth yesterday, there were still 600 albums left unsold and they actually started selling again this morning. Interesting huh. But SHINee deserves a sold out event! (:

And actually, today, entry to the roof garden opens at like 8am BUT cos we wanted to go for the NUS Open House, we couldn't go early to get the best positions :/ Haish shouldn't have gone for NUS Open House luh cos the talks were super boring and it's not like whatever they're talking about are things that I don't already know. Plus, I could hardly sit still and pay attention cos I was too excited to see SHINee! Haha. After the talk ended at 12pm, we rushed all the way too IMM and managed to reach there by 12.30pm but of course, by then, there were already alot of people.

Waited for about an hour plus before the host came out at like 2.15pm. Yes, the showcase was supposed to start at 2pm but ah wells, it was expected. The host was like speaking in Mandarin at first but we wanted him to speak in English, for the non-Mandarin speakers like me and he nicely tried to (: Then there was just a lot of talking just to buy time luh. And finally, at around 2.30pm, SHINee came out!! They had a short introduction and stuff which I wasn't really paying attention to cos I was too busy looking at them in awe haha. Then they performed Replay (Remix) and JoJo. Then they had a short interview segment. Super cute lah all of them! And then the fans sang a birthday song for Jonghyun oppa who's birthday is only on 8 April. So, they were all so confused at first as to whose birthday it was (especially Key! OMG so cute!) but then realised that it was an advanced birthday song for Jjong! (: Then, they performed Ring Ding Dong before they exited the stage. All that in just 30mins. It's really not enough, I want to see more of them. But it was definitely AWESOME! Worth every cent and second (:

Oh but did I mention that it was raining? Yes, very heavily in fact and I was quite soaked cos we were standing at the side. We were standing in the middle at first but there were just too many people so we couldn't see anything. The view we had wasn't the best but it was still AWESOME ^.^

I want them to come again! Saranghae SHINee! (:

They also won the New Generation Artiste award. I didn't go for it cos the whole event was like 5 hours and in Mandarin, which I can't understand. There's gonna be a broadcast of the awards show on Starhub Channel 56 on April 2nd at 7pm, with a repeat on April 3rd at 12.30am. I didn't subscribe to that channel, so can't watch it :/ So, if you share the same fate as me, enjoy these awesome fancams from someone who was standing in the mosh pit, I assume. You can see the boys sweating and all. So damn hot haha.

YAYAYAYAYAYAY! FINALLY THE LONG WAIT IS OVER!!! Today, Big Bang released their latest music video for 'Lollipop 2' after way too much teasing! And I am sooooo loving it (: Definitely worth the wait! The boys are looking so dayum HOT! I can't wait for their album release in the latter half of the year. You boys are very much missed!

In addition to the YG family love, Big Bang's sisters, 2NE1, released their music video for 'Try To Follow Me' after a long wait too! It's a really awesome video too! And the cool thing is that they self-choreographed their MV (: And CL is so totally rocking that Lady Gaga vibe. Plus I love the special appearance by Star Wars' Storm Troopers haha. Not so in love with the song but the MV makes up for it (:

Ok, in non-Kpop news, today was the last day of my internship. I guess it was kinda bittersweet. I'll definitely miss the staff and my students. But I don't regret my choice for ending my internship cos I really want to try out teaching at a primary school. But let's just hope that I can find a vacancy at a primary school soon. In the meantime, I'll enjoy being jobless for a while haha. Hmm and I'll probably blog abit more on my internship some other time (:

And I can't wait for tomorrow! I'm going to queue up early in the morning AGAIN at IMM to try my luck to be one of the first 3000 to get SHINee's album so that I can get an entry pass for their album showcase on Sunday afternoon. I know people are overnight-ing but I won't and am not allowed to go to such extent. So wish me luck people!! Hope I'll have better luck than the last time. Besides, the chances are higher now (:

Ugh. All these applications for scholarships and courses and whatnot is incredibly confusing! I'm really getting a HUGE headache and I feel so lost :/

Plus, I've spent waaaaayyyy too much this weekend! I have almost no money left ): Spent like $800 to top up my driving account. Grrrr I better get my license soon! Also spent close to $50 for gifts for my students and teacher mentors since it's my last week of my internship already (time sure flies, i've already spent 8 weeks at CHR wow). Also spent $190 to make my contact lenses, $150 for Korean stuff that I ordered online heh and $40 on pretty and cute makeup from Etude House hehehe. Ok I so need to control how much I spend, and resist from buying things I don't really need :/ But I'm very happy with one buy and that is 'You're Beautiful' DVD!!! I can finally watch it now!! (: I watched like 2 episodes online but the quality sucked so now I can watch it on my TV (: Can't wait! Can't wait! But I'll watch it once 'God Of Study' ends on KBS World cos it's superrrr nice tooo! 'God Of Study' is really funny and heartwarming. Plus, it doesn't revolve around a typical love triangle/rectangle so it's definitely something fresh. I recommend you to watch it! (:

And yup this week will be the last week of my internship. I kind of can't wait for it to be over cos it is pretty tiring and I really want a break, especially right now so that I can settle all my university applications and stuff. But I'm sure I'll miss the students too. And the pay haha.

Well the big moment came and went. But gosh I really never felt so nervous before. I think was losing my mind the whole morning just thinking about the results that was going to be released. This may sound dumb, but I actually cried when I was in the staff room this morning. Yeah, I had a nervous breakdown. But oh wells! That nervousness is over now.

And I've finally gotten my results. Overall, it's not too bad luh. Including PW and MT, I have 5 distinctions (and apparently my name was on the board which I didn't even bother to go see haha). I got an A for PW and MT of course and GP (thankfully cos my GP is quite inconsistent), H1 Math (which I kinda expected heh), H2 Economics (WHICH I TOTALLY DID NOT EXPECT!!). I was super shocked when I saw that I got a freaking A for Econs luh. It's just like my A Math during O Levels. I went up from a U all the way to an A. Like wth seriously. I mean I knew that they would shift the bell curve and all but I didn't expect an A. HOWEVER, I'd rather swap my grade for Econs with that of History. Cos I got a C for H2 History ): I'm quite disappointed cos I really thought I would get at least a B but oh wells. I got a C for H2 Literature-in-English too which I kinda expected cos my Lit isn't very strong but I did hope for of course. So overall, I got 5 As but 2 out of 3 of my H2 subjects are like Cs. Should I be happy or disappointed? You tell me cos I have no idea.

But even so, there's no point regretting or whatnot. Now, I just have to look forward. And I'm dreading all this application to universities and all. Haishhhh.

GAHHHH!!! I really really feel nervous about tomorrow now. I hope I can still sleep tonight and I'll pray very hard that everything goes well tomorrow. To everyone who's getting their GCE 'A' Levels results tomorrow, I wish you ALL THE BESTTTTT! Although I know there's nothing we can do now, but we can at least pray right? And I am lowering my expectations so that I won't be disappointed tomorrow. AHHHHH! :/

Both can speak another language other than Korean and English. And it would be cool to see a 21PM collab! But no no, Khun oppa is all mine! Hahaha

hello all. this post will be all about the Jaebeom controversy. i just felt the need to wrap up my thoughts and feelings about this. so this might be my last post on this issue though i might have a few comments once in a while.

well it's been almost a week since the devastating news was revealed - that Jaebeom, the one and only Jaebeom, will not be returning to 2PM. i, like many other fans, was shocked and upset. in fact, i'm sure words couldn't describe the pain we all felt. and then the conference was held on 27 Feb. the conference, as we've all heard and read, did not make things any better. in fact, it just made things so much worse. and fans started turning against the other 6 members because of their harsh words and behaviour. truth be told, i did harbour some form of resentment, and mostly disappointment, at the other members although i was caught in between. i guess the shock just made me easily blame the others for betraying Jaebeom. i was too focused on Jaebeom and not anyone else.

but now, after reading many different accounts and articles, i've come to a decision. it's time to move on. Jaebeom wouldn't have wanted this, for fans to turn against the other members, trying to bring them down. Jaebeom would have wanted for us to give 2PM the support that they need now more than ever. it's not fair to Jaebeom definitely. but it's also not fair to the other members who have also worked hard. only they know the truth right? and besides, Jaebeom and his family doesn't want this to be an issue anymore. they want to move on. and we should move on too. that doesn't mean that Jaebeom can't remain in our hearts - he'll always and forever be our leader. but we, as fans, should respect his decision. if fans choose not to support 2PM anymore, they should do it in a more peaceful manner like don't buy their upcoming album if they don't want to. but we shouldn't hurt the other members just like how Jaebeom has been hurt. we shouldn't stoop down to that level - that doesn't make us any better. my hope is that 2PM leave JYPE cos too much shit has taken place in JYPE. but that won't happen.

so, i don't know about you but i'll continue to support both Jaebeom and the other six members even if it means doing so separately. i'll always be a Hottest. neither party deserves to be treated like shit. and both parties deserve our love. as fans, we should be forgiving right? it will take time to heal the wound but i hope that things will look up soon. 2PM might not be the same without Jaebeom but doesn't mean we should treat them any different. i, for one, want to see all seven of them smiling again. but until then and until forever, we will NEVER FORGET, PARK JAEBEOM. LOVE & RESPECT.

It's a brand new month already. Time sure flies. And too soon in fact cos it has been officially announced that the GCE 'A' Level Results will be released this Friday (5 Mar) at 2.30PM. Although I'm pretty sure most of us already expected it to be released on Friday, I'm sure no one really wanted to believe it right? Haha. But GAHHH! I can only take so much drama in my life :/

And I've finally made my decision to end my teaching internship in Term 1. I'm not even going to continue it at another school. It's not because I don't like the school or even teaching. In fact, I do kind of enjoy it. It's just that I think the students should be taught by a more experienced and qualified teacher, especially in Term 2 where they have to sit for their Mid-Year Exams. I don't want to bear that responsibility. Though sometimes I do have second thoughts whenever I see my students (: But I will try applying for relief teaching cos it's less stressful and I don't want unnecessary stress before I restart schooling an whatnot. And I want to relief teach at a primary school for a new experience. I tried calling a few schools but I need to apply with MOE first. And I'm in a dilemma cos I'm afraid that if I apply now while I still have two more weeks of my internship, it might be a breach of contract or something. Hmm but I don't mind being jobless for a couple of weeks cos I need a break! Oh and I had my assessment today. The HOD of Humanities sat in and observed my History lesson. I hope I can pass! Even though some students misbehaved :/

And ok, I really can't help this (so if you're not into Korean stuff or don't care about the Jaebeom thing then just skip this part). Fans are turning their backs against the remaining six members. About 30 fansites have closed, and reportedly, staff of the official 2PM fan cafe has also resigned. They even stated how they are embarrassed to call themselves 2PM fans. The reason for all this is because of the members' actions and words during the conference. They were reportedly acting in an unmannerly way despite a very serious issue at hand. Now fans are even against the idea of Jaebeom returning to a group and company that has betrayed him. Read the article below, an account of 2PM's disrespectful stance/behavior and you'll know what I mean:

I'm a Wonderful and a Hottest and so I've had to endure the pain of three withdrawals. When Wonder Girls' Hyunah first withdrew, Hyunah's fans expressed their disappointment and hatred towards the remaining members. The fans of the remaining members also got angry and expressed their hatred back.

After that, the distinction between the Wonder Girls and Hyunah became clear.

JYPE is notorious for using the same tactics and this is the same tactic that he's using now with Jaebum's case. It might be a ploy to bring down both the remaining members and Jaebum at once. There are already fansites that are angry and shielding the remaining members, asking 'Why are you only attacking our oppas?' Because of JYPE's tactics, it is the fans that are suffering.

However, this time, JYPE has lost.

JYPE has purposely made it so that there is no way out. Immediately after the notice, fans began to speculate as to whether the boys truly agreed to Jaebum's withdrawal and came up with a list of dates that contradicted their statement.

Unfortunately, 2PM will fail. I'm sure you all know of the reason.

Firstly, sasaeng fans have released their information out of anger. (TN: Sasaeng fans are aggressive fans that follow the boys around 24/7. They are notorious for having garnered a lot of personal information about the boys.)

Why did we love 2PM? Because they never packaged themselves. They were never fake, they were always honest. They were friendly with each other. However, through the release of the sasaeng accounts, we were able to learn their true personalities. I will not go out of my way to paste the specific sasaeng accounts here but they have already been spread far and wide.

Secondly, the 2PM members were extremely unmannered at the conference.

Maybe they had a lot of schedules and were tired? However, the fans were asking the questions in a serious matter. The members were holding their chin ups with their hands, falling asleep, stretching in their seats... This is an issue that has the life on the line of one of their members. How can they show such unmannerly acts in a time of crisis?

And their tone. It's not even enough for them to have been respectful but their tone of voice was sarcastic and disrespectful. They answered their questions as if they no longer needed Jaebum in 2PM.

I would like to ask them myself. There are fans that were only able to be with Jaebum for a year and 5 months and are able and willing to protect him. For having been together with Jaebum for 3-5 years, how could the members not be willing to do the same?

During the conference, a mother of teenagers the age of 2PM angrily stated that they have turned Jaebum into international trash. Other people, no matter how inhumane the acts they have committed are, no matter how trashy their act is, they have human rights.

But 6PM and JYPE... has trampled on the human rights of Jaebum.

To organize this with a conclusion, we are now against Jaebum returning to 2PM. We are not willing to let Jaebum return to such a trashy agency and have to deal with the fake members. He is not someone that belongs there.

6PM......... no, 2PM, has failed.

I am regretful. It is Jaebum, the one that has engraved 2PM onto the side of his head, that has brought 2PM to the top that they are at now. The length of idols last 5 years but the memories last forever. 2PM will never last 5 years, let alone 3.

They might be able to make a few bucks but they are the ones that will come out on varieties years later and make money by speaking of Jaebum's names on varieties.

Like they have put the tag of 'dirty social life' onto Jaebum's name, we will put the tag of 'traitors' onto their names.

JYPE believes that people will feel sympathetic towards 6PM. JYPE believes that they will be able to garner new fans.

They are wrong.

As long as people know of 2PM's true colors... even other fanclubs are disgusted with the recent accounts of 2PM.

One person was able to save six members, but how could six members not be able to save one.

After reading this and many more other accounts and articles, I really don't know what to believe. I want to stay loyal to 2PM, knowing that this isn't what Jaebeom would have wanted us, fans, to do. He would have wanted us to continue giving support to the other members especially after all this. That's just who he is - a true leader. And I do feel bad for the other boys. Only they know the truth right? Maybe we'll react differently if we know the truth too? I don't know. But how can they expect to do well for their upcoming album in April with all this hate? I want to continue supporting them but I understand the feelings of the fans who are angry at the other members. I do feel a bit of disappointment and resentment too. It's really painful. I'm really torn. I just want all seven to be back together again. Please.

I wanted to post about this yesterday but I have no idea why I was just too tired and too lazy to do anything. But well, I was out from morning yesterday - from driving lessons to the NTU talks.

Ok so now to the important bit. Yesterday, on 27 Feb 2010, JYP Entertainment held a conference with Hottests regarding 2PM and Jaebeom. The conference took place at Songpagoo Moonjungdong shopping mall in Seoul, in which ~~all~~ the six 2PM members and JYPE representatives were in attendance. The atmosphere was reportedly very tense, with many angry and crying people in the room.

Here are the details of the conference (it's a bit long so I took the liberty to highlight some parts which I feel are more important):

The conference lasted four hours, and the content was not released to the press by JYPE as they insisted that they cannot reveal what was said during the conference. This lead to many fan-created rumours about the conference. Oneday Room, a Korean fan page of 2AM and 2PM, released a summary of questions and answers.

Q: Underground (fanclub) submitted a new question sheet according to your request for a new one but you still have not answered to it.
A (Representative): We could not give any false answers to the questions as we were planning on announcing Jaebeom’s departure in late February, due to Jaebeom’s request. We wanted to talk truthfully in this conference.

Q: Fans seek to communicate with JYPE. In an event like this where you are to communicate the company’s position, why did you bring 2PM members who are not a part of decision making process within the company?
A (Representative): We believe that a conference like this could take place if the members spoke truthfully. If only the company representatives came, the fans wouldn’t believe us.

Q: We fans who are present right now will consider members who are here as representatives of JYPE and not a part of group 2PM, and consider the words that come out of your mouths as the words of the company. JYPE’s official statement says that the 6 members agreed on what was decided regarding Jaebeom on January 6th. Do any of you disagree with any of the said statements?
A (Members): We agree to the statement.

Q: Assuming the statement is true, why did you torture the fans and bring sympathy to yourselves by mentioning Jaebeom’s name even after January 6th?
A (Members): Jaebeom being a good friend is a different matter from him leaving the group. We don’t think it’s a problem for us to say that we miss him. We think even in future that we can say that we miss him if we miss him, and we don’t think that is a problem at all.

Q: We request that following details on termination of contract between Jaebeom and JYPE be answered and also request that you show us supporting documents as proof. When was the contract officially terminated?
A: February 26th.

Q: After the termination, what legal rights does JYPE hold regarding Jaebeom and how long do you hold those rights for?
A: We do not hold any legal rights.

Q: When does Jaebeom get paid indemnity and his share of profit?
A: There is no indemnity. His share of profit up to December was paid in full during January.

Q: Promise that there aren’t any clauses that limit him from returning to the entertainment industry in future.
A: There are no such clauses.

Q: We request JYPE be responsible this situation as they were not looking after their entertainer Jaebeom with utmost care. JYPE released statement filled with unclear words and thus made rumours surrounding Jaebeom and 2PM spread. Please tell us what you plan on doing about the rumours and what you plan on doing about damage done to Jaebeom, his family and the rest of 2PM.
A (Representative): JYPE is not responsible for personal matters of its entertainers and thus we believe that Jaebeom should be responsible for everything that he has caused. In a logical sense, Jaebeom is the wrongdoer and the company and the 6 members are the victims.

Q: Has JYPE done anything to protect Jaebeom from related news articles and TV programs since last September 5th? Requesting news articles and comments to be deleted aren’t hard, so why did you just watch the fire spread?
A (Representative): We have never requested news articles and comments to be deleted before the September incident. But we had tried our best. After the September incident, we have tried to delete comments and such, but the number of news articles regarding the incident was so large that we could not handle it all. Plus, the media is uncontrollable by us. I hope you understand our situation.

Q: According to JYPE’s statement, JYPE made final decision on Jaebeom on January 6th, but delayed announcing this fact for a month and 20 days, continuously using Jaebeom for marketing throughout the period. Even if the company did not directly and intentionally use Jaebeom for marketing, why did you just watch media sources use Jaebeom’s name?
A (Representative): It is true that final decision was made on January 6th. However, we agreed with Jaebeom to announce this matter in late February so we could not request anything to the media. Again, the media cannot be controlled by JYPE.

Q: Isn’t JYPE responsible for announcing the reason of Jaebeom’s termination as, of all things, “serious personal wrongdoing”?
A (Representative): We had reasons for that. We did not want the 6 members to be traitors. The 6 is more important than the one. We also could not lie in a statement written to be viewed by the entire nation. In practical sense, the 6 members are the victims and if we did not reveal the reason truthfully, then it would have created more rumors. That is why we revealed the reason truthfully, as “serious personal wrongdoing.”

Q: We are told that only the members and few within the company know what wrong Jaebeom has done. If it is indeed a serious matter then we as fans do not want it to be released to the public either. However, since only few within the company and the members know of the incident, can we assume that if the details do slip out into the public then it had been released by JYPE?
A: We hope that the details do not get released to the public; however, there are people who are not within the company that are part of the incident. There are possibilities of them releasing the matters so we cannot take any responsibilities.

Q: Does Jaebeom know that there is a conference happening at the moment? Does he know that JYPE’s official statement says that the reason for his termination is due to personal wrongdoings?
A (Nichkhun): We have texted each other up until recently and he knows that the conference is taking place. He even wanted to send a video message.
(Representative): He is aware of the statement as well.

Q: Is 2PM planning on selecting in a new member or electing a new leader?
A (Representative & Members): No.

Q: Is there no possibility of Jaebeom returning? What if he was to return as a member of a different management company?
A (Representative & Members): There is no possibility of him returning as a part of 2PM.
(Chansung): If Jaebeom was to return despite all that has happened, I’m all for him. However, I’m not positive about his return to 2PM.

Q: Couldn’t JYPE and the members ignore the issues? If the members did not agree to termination of Jaebeom, would the situation have come to this?
A (Members): It was something that could not be ignored.
(Representative): It was a matter that they could not disagree on, thus we believed that they would all agree. Even if they didn’t, the result would have been the same.

Q: The result would have been the same even if the MySpace incident did not happen?
A (Members): Yes.

Q: Do members take care of their Cyworld themselves? Are messages that were on the members’ Cyworld after September 8th really written by the members themselves?
A (Wooyoung): Yes. I felt anxious so I said I’m anxious.
(Chansung): Yes. I wrote “confused” about a personal matter. It was not related to this situation.
(Representative): We were asked why we do not manage our entertainers in previous conferences. Our contract does not limit entertainers’ personal lives. It is something that the entertainers themselves should take care of.

Q: How do the members feel about the boycott?
A (Junho): We thought that Jaebeom would return so we did not care. We merely thought of it as a problem that would get solved when he came back. But I would be lying if I said we didn’t feel hurt by it. If fans continue to boycott us after this, I think I’ll feel that they just don’t want to see us anymore. However, we will continue trying our best in singing and performing.

Q: Do you realize that “serious personal wrong doing” part you wrote on the statement can be considered defamation if it was revealed to be not true?
A (Representative): We wrote what is true.

Q: What do you plan on doing about Jaebeom’s part when performing the first and second single from now on? Also, can he receive additional profits earned by those albums in future?
A (Representative): Jaebeom’s part in performances is something we have to discuss among ourselves. Additional profit would be a matter that copyrights association will deal with, not JYPE.

Q: Would 2PM fan club continue using the title “HOTTEST”?
A (Representative): Yes. Are the 6 members not a part of 2PM? No. The 6 members are still 2PM, so we will continue to use the title HOTTEST.

Q: Members made final decision on Jaebeom on January 6th. The members were currently away on vacation and were spotted with smiles on.
A (Wooyoung): It was our first vacation.
(Taecyeon): We are celebrities. We cannot frown in public.
(Chansung): I cannot make sad faces when meeting up with relatives over holidays. What do you want? Do you want us to cause a scene during live performances, asking for Jaebeom to come back?

Q: Do you know of rumors that are spreading on the Internet? Aren’t you going to protect Jaebeom?
A (Wooyoung): We are not abandoning him, we are protecting him. I thought that if the details were released in future, I might regret my decisions.
(Chansung): Please do not question our friendship.
(Junho): After being told about what he had done, I honestly hated Jaebeom. We tried our best for his return, but right now, I think that staying silent is the best I can do for him.
(Taecyeon): Rumors will go away.

Q: JYPE revealed that contract with Jaebeom was terminated due to personal problems. Why was he not forced to pay any indemnity although he was the one responsible?
A (Representative): Other members of 2PM are promoting various products so indemnity might occur regarding that, but Jaebeom currently is not promoting any products. Thus he does not have to pay any indemnity to advertisers and although he is responsible for the termination, we decided not to charge him for anything.

And in other news, it seems like 2PM will continue with all their activities. Perhaps pretending like nothing has happened? And rumours are floating around that Jaebeom might be singing for his friend ChaCha’s upcoming album. ChaCha, a fellow member of Art of Movement (the bboy crew that Jaebeom is a part of) and R&B artist, has been revealing information regarding an upcoming album. Furthermore, rumours have been circulating that Art of Movement may try out for America’s Best Dance Crew (ABDC), a widely popular show featuring dance crews from across the States in a reality-show-like format. These rumors were further confirmed by Nichkhun, who reportedly said at the Feb 27 conference, “I texted Jay… He said he might appear in ABDC, but I told him to just go to school.” Hmm this is really bittersweet. I'm glad that Jaebeom is moving on with his life but I can't help but wish it was with 2PM instead ):

And now my thoughts on this: I really don't know what to say. I can't help but feel a tinge of hatred at the members. How can Junho say that he 'hated' Jaebeom for what he did? I don't know but I feel like they somewhat betrayed Jaebeom. But I don't want to hate them, and I won't boycott the six members. I will remain a 2PM fan, but it just won't be the same. And after all this, I don't want to believe it but there's just no hope for Jaebeom to return to 2PM although I really didn't want to hear this from the other members themselves. He's really gone for good this time. It gets me curious to find out what the hell that was so wrong and so big that Jaebeom did but if it is really that bad, then I'd rather it not be revealed to the public. I understand that we should all still respect Jaebeom and his privacy. And like what Taecyeon said, "Rumours will go away". At least they agreed not to select a new member or elect a new leader - that's the very least they could do. Reading the details of this conference felt like rubbing salt on an open wound. It hurts. But there's really nothing we can do anymore. And as a Hottest, I will continue supporting the other members of 2PM - they deserve that at least. I'll love 2PM but to say all the same, would be a lie. It'll take me time to get over this and accept the truth but I have to, we all have to. Hello, this is JYP Entertainment.

Last September, 2PM’s member Park Jaebeom announced his withdrawal from the group and returned to Seattle after a message he wrote on the internet during his trainee days caused backlash. We will now reveal what course of action will be taken.

Although the message that became an issue last September upset many people, it was written during Jaebeom’s tough trainee days on his personal page. At the time, the company agreed with Jaebeom when he asked to take some time for self-reflection. We did not think that this meant that he would stop all activities in the entertainment industry or that he would leave 2PM.

The company had the option of forcing Park Jaebeom to stay and continue promoting with a 7 member 2PM. However, although netizens exaggerated Jaebeom’s words through mistranslations, his words still had the potential to hurt many people. Because of this, we did not want to endorse Jaebeom and force him to continue promotions because it might have damaged his image permanently in the public eye, and so we agreed with his decision to return to the States.

When a celebrity makes a mistake and does not apologize for his / her mistake or if the company endorses that celebrity, the public view of that celebrity becomes more negative and it was in the company’s thoughts that letting Jaebeom withdraw from the group for self-discipline would be good.

Thankfully, after Park Jaebeom left the country, an outpour of support gave him another chance.

After Jaebeom’s leave, we did not release any additional information because we did not want the public to be influenced by malicious sources. Since Park Jaebeom’s return to Seattle, the company has searched for vocal, dance, and acrobatics teachers, and the company producer JYP went personally to Seattle to talk to these teachers and formulate a program.

All recent CF’s, performances, promotions and contracts that have involved 2PM have been made with the mindset that the group would eventually have all 7 members present after Park Jaebeom’s return and so we waited for his comeback.

In November, 2009, the company proposed that Park Jaebeom make his comeback through an album that would have been released this year in April, and Park Jaebeom had agreed to these plans. The plans called for Jaebeom’s return to Korea on the third week of February and a press conference would have been held before promotions as a 7 member 2PM began.

Because of the support he received from the public after his withdrawal from 2PM, Park Jaebeom’s return would have improved 2PM’s efforts and most importantly we would have been able to receive the complete support of the fans once again. The company and the group had high hopes.

However, if the news of Jaebeom’s comeback were revealed too quickly, we felt that the public would once again be negative. Although the fans criticized the lack of information from us, we did not reveal any plans for the comeback.

On December 22nd, 2009, Jaebeom confessed to Jung Wook, a representative, that he had done something wrong during the Again and Again promotions. Apparently, it was far more serious than his MySpace controversy.

JYPE stated that Jaebeom’s social impulses were a private matter and will not be revealed. They expressed that it was difficult to reveal the details of Park Jaebeom’s offenders who had intruded into his privacy and posted the comments.

JYPE had planned for Jaebeom’s comeback back in November 2009, with the idea of a return in April 2010, to which Jaebeom himself agreed. Jaebeom would return to Korea in the 3rd week of February 2010 and have a press conference before resuming activities with 2PM in March. This comeback news were all kept secret, with the aim of protecting Jaebeom and 2PM. But this has now all become void.

WHAT THE HELL DID HE DO THAT WAS SO WRONG?! WHAT THE FREAKING HELL IS WRONG WITH JYP?? BEFORE IT WAS SUNMI, AND NOW IT'S THE ONE AND ONLY JAEBEOM?! i can't take it. i want to respect jay's decision but 2PM is not the same without him...

but nonetheless, i will still support 2PM and it will take me time (a hell lot of time), but i guess we have to respect Jay's decision. but please oh please, let 2PM stay as a 6-member group at the very least cos NO ONE can replace the leadja.

sighs. i can't believe that it's already sunday. the weekend is coming to an end already. and it's back to school again tomorrow. well at least it's three more weeks left till the march holidays and the end of my internship (unless i decide to extend it which i highly doubt). haha i feel like a student again - being so excited for the school holidays!

but at least i had fun this weekend. went to marina barrage with fiqah, zimah and nad yesterday and we had a picnic there plus we celebrated fiqah's belated birthday too! it was super fun cos we were all super wacky! haha. and while other people were flying kites there, we were busy watching kpop videos on my macbook - singing and even dancing along to them! it was a hilarious sight cos in order to block out the glare from the sun, we used umbrellas to shelter ourselves and the laptop! haha. it was fun fun fun! we had a blast eating, goofing around and camwhoring! we stayed there till about 4plus when it started to rain although it was just a passing cloud. then we went to mac for some much needed air-con and ice cream! haha. i had an AWESOME time (: love you guys! ^.^

and hmm i've been deliberating for quite some time about whether i should continue my internship and i STILL haven't quite decided yet. however, most probably if i do decide to extend my internship, i would want to do it at another school - not because i don't like my current school, it's just that i want a new experience at a different environment. i was thinking of doing relief at a primary school, but that would mean i wouldn't be an intern anymore cos i don't think the internship programme includes primary schools. i think i'll check with schools if they have vacancies and then i'll see how. i just hope i don't end up jobless after the march holidays :/

oh and rejoice my fellow 1991-ers! i have no idea why my batch is always the first or last batch for something. like we were the first batch to choose your secondary schools after getting PSLE results. or like we were the last batch for the PAE system. and now, we are the last batch who can learn driving at the age of 18. from what i know, those born in 1992 and below can only learn driving at the age of 21! haha how sad ^.^

and Big Bang finally released a new song for their Lollipop 2 CF! it's been almost a year since their last official korean release which was Lollipop (ft 2NE1). Hallelujah for the soundtrack of Iris doesn't quite count cos it was only by T.O.P, G-Dragon and Taeyang so it's not really a Big Bang release. i'm loving Lollipop (Part2) and i can't wait for the MV. i miss my boys sooo much!

But there's no news about SHINee coming to Singapore on the Sistic website. So I took the time to find out if it's really true that they're coming and I found this article taken from OMY.SG which I think is a sponsor/organiser of the event so I think it should be pretty reliable.

Korean’s Hottest boyband, SHINee and JJ Lin JunJie are confirmed for the Singapore Entertainment Awards. SHINee came last week to attend Korea’s famous composer, Mr Oh Joon Sung’s concert and had a fan-signing event. Both these events had attracted thousands of fans. If you are a fan, and you haven’t seen enough of them, get your tickets now and you can see SHINee singing and dancing!

Hmm the only thing I couldn't confirm are the rumours about FT Island coming for this event too. So I guess I'll have to wait for the official name list to be out to confirm.

So yup, I guess this is really a treat to Singapore Shawols. Hopefully, they will be performing at the event and I'm sure it's very likely cos they can't possibly fly all the way here just to attend some awards show right? Haha.

But I am most likely not attending it because well, other than SHINee, I'm not really interested in the event. I don't mind the price cos well, it's not very expensive but it's freaking 5 hours and I can't understand anything! If it was a concert in Korean, I wouldn't mind even if I couldn't understand anything too. Don't get me wrong, I'm not racist or anything but I don't really follow local entertainment. I rarely watch local programmes on Suria and Channel 5 so to go to an awards show mainly catering to the Chinese local celebraties, well I would be at a total loss. Haha. So yeah, I don't quite find it worth to sit there for 5 hours just to catch SHINee perform like one or at most two songs. But I might reconsider if FT Island and possibly other Korean groups decide to turn up at the event too. So, I am patiently waiting for the name list to come out. If not, I'll just welcome them at the airport again! It's free and this time, I'll be sure to come earlier so that I can get a better view of them! Hahaha.

i know i'm like 2 hours early but HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR and HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!! :DD i find it cool that these two events fall on the same day, not that it really matters to me cos i'm not celebrating either heh. though i'm very much thankful for the looong weekened even if that means i lost two days worth of my pay :/ but i need a break.

and yes, i don't have anyone to celebrate vday with. no special someone that is. other than my friends and family luh. well i don't have many good memories of vday, the good ones were mostly spent with friends rather than a special someone. it may sound pathetic but i don't mind. special someones don't stay special forever - at least for me. i've had my heart broken days before vday, felt disappointed on vday. so yeah. and besides, no one said that vdays must be spent with a special guy or girl right? (: so i wish a super special vday to all the single-tons out there! :D we'll find our mr or ms right one day soon!

and to that one special guy out there, i miss the times we spent vday together. when we were both miserably single and so we would become each other's valentine for a day. those were some of the greatest vdays memories i had. i know we may never have those vdays again and i find it ironic that when for a period of time that we were together, we never did celebrate vday together. maybe that's how things were always meant to be. we were never meant to be more than just friends. now i know. but i hope that you have a great vday this year with your very special someone, hope you have a better vday than i'll have this year.

oooooh i'm really anticipating the weekend! i've had a looooong week, with endless relief classes on top of my normal lessons and increasing marking to do :/ and officially, the top question that students keep asking me is what's my race. some kids today thought i was a Filipino and a Eurasian! haha

i'm so tired! got so much marking to do ): tho i know it's still nothing compared to the other qualified teachers. and i don't know why but i feel so drained from taking the students to their swimming lesson just now. i was bored to death! should have brought something to do while waiting... ah well now i know.

and hmm, recently i was asked if i want to continue the internship? and i honestly don't know. apparently, i can continue my internship at the same school or a different one. but if so, i would like to continue it at a primary school actually. i wanna see how teaching in a primary school is like, how different the students are. but i'm not sure if the internship includes primary schools. hmmm... should i continue the internship? any advice? i kinda like it at Christ Church too but i wanna try a different environment or a different field altogether. help?

oh and you know that i recently bought LG Lollipop right? well Lollipop 2 will be released in Korea pretty soon. found pictures of the new phone. the secret lighting seems nicer, there's more themes, and the keypad has cool lighting. the only thing i don't quite like is the colours. it's like pastel and i think it comes in pink, green and black/grey. hmm i prefer the original Lollipop colours better. but it doesn't matter. cos it won't be in Singapore anytime soon and i don't think i'll buy it anyway. all that matters is how CUTE Big Bang looks with the phone! can't wait for their CF (and perhaps a new CF song?)! and i wonder who the new Lollipop girl is? hmmm...

oh well can't wait for the long weekend! i need a break! :D

yes i got myself the new (at least in Singapore luh) LG Lollipop and it's BLUE! i think the blue one was available just yesterday and i immediately bought it haha. i really really wanted to change my phone. and i think i mentioned in a previous post that i have to pay $198 for the phone cos the contract hasn't ended yet so there's a $100 penalty. the contract will end somewhere in March but i just couldn't wait. and so i traded in my old phone for $100 which meant that i still have to pay $98. but yeah i didn't mind. BUT BUT the guy was superrrrrr nice! he decided to close one eye even though there was still a month left till the contract ended, and so we didn't have to pay the $100 penalty! in fact, they owe us $2 HAHA. thank you really nice guy! :D and he didn't tell us anything till we were moving to the counter. he told my dad, "you can bring your family out for a nice dinner tonight" and my dad was like confused. then he explained that we didn't have to pay the penalty and all :D it was definitely worth it! and i'm very satisfied with the phone. function-wise, it's nothing much but it's really pretty and attractive, and i love playing with the lights! haha. Lollipop 2 will be coming out in Korea around end Feb and the colours will be pastel (some thing like Ice Cream colours). from the preview, it looks pretty nice but if it even gets imported to Singapore, i'm sure it'll take another year. besides, Ice Cream 2 isn't even in Singapore yet although it's been released since early last year in Korea heh. so it's ok! although i'm quite bummed that my ringing tone still only lasts a maximum of 20s. this has been happening since i was using my old phone and so i thought it was the phone. but now, maybe it isn't. it's really irritating cos especially when i'm outside and it's really noisy or my phone is not within my reach, i'll just keep getting missed calls. so people, don't be mad at me if you can't reach me. just keep calling, i'll get to answer it eventually :/ urgh but i don't even know if i should got to LG or Singtel to fix this problem? anyone else has this same problem? HELP ME ):

and yay! finally submitted my lesson plans and the test paper that i had to set to my mentors. now just waiting for their comments. whoever said that teaching is great because of the short working hours is so wrong! cos you either stay till late afternoon in school to finish your work or you go home early and do your work at home. and technically, you're still kinda working on weekends. teaching is not just about classroom teaching. that's only about 1/4 or 1/3 of teaching. there's all the paperwork, planning, meetings and blablabla. so really, teaching is not for everyone. and if you do normal relief teaching, you might not get exposed to all the other aspects of teaching and maybe it might lead to misconception about teaching - that it's only about TEACHING students. it's not.

i can't wait to get my pay! payday should be the 10th or 12th of the month after. hmm tho i think if i deduct the amount of money i've been spending the past weeks, i might be left with very little of my pay ): i should stop pre-spending my pay! :/

hi world :D

last weekend was sure as hell hectic and exciting. and it really drained alot of energy out of me, leaving me feeling really tired this week and sleeping at almost every opportunity i get. so i'm really looking forward to a much more toned down weekend.

work has gotten busier and now, i actually feel more like a teacher haha. i've been assigned to a CCA - Mass Dance which was my second choice. my first choice was Malay Dance but they didn't have enough teachers for Mass Dance but it's alright. Mass Dance is a new CCA which is specially created for Sec 4 and 5 students who didn't have CCAs. and so my first time at practice was also the first Mass Dance practice ever heh. practices are on Mondays and Tuesdays and i have to be present for Monday practices only which is the better deal cos practice is from 2.30pm to 4pm while on Tuesdays, it's from 4pm to 5.30pm haha. and Mondays are for Sec 4 N(A) and N(T) students so there are less students but not necessarily easier to manage haha. so yeah, basically, i just have to be present to take attendance and make sure the students behave themselves. and actually, the practice was quite fun! it's not really mass dance like what we do during orientation, they do hiphop-like or streetdance-like dance moves which is simplified but still uber cool! they were even taught how to do a body wave and hand wave. maybe i'll join in next practice! (: oh but towards the end of the practice, one of the girls suddenly collapsed on the floor. we thought she just had cramps in her legs but apparently, she dislocated her knee. luckily, it just popped back into place but she was sent to the hospital afterwards for further checkups. it was quite scary and it has been a long time since i've been exposed to such injuries.

and this week, i finally started actual teaching and not just relieving classes. i have three Sec 1 classes for History - 2 Express and 1 Normal(Acad). it might sound like a lot but they only have History lessons once a week so that means i only teach History 3 times a week heh. and for Math, i have 1 Sec 2 Normal(Acad) class but not the same one i relieved previously. and contrastingly, they have Math lessons FOUR times a week. it's quite obvious where the school places its emphasis on heh. but so far, all of my classes have been behaving pretty ok but that might be because my mentors are still sitting in and helping me to manage the class and co-teach for the time being. i can't quite imagine what will happen once they're gone especially my dear dear Sec 2 class full of little rascals. haha. they're mischievous but i enjoy teaching them all the same (:

other than teaching and CCA-ing, i have had to do other stuff too. like attend training for the school emergency evacuation exercise and whatnot. also, i have to set a test paper over the weekend and send to my mentor for it to be vetted. first time i get to set a test. cool! but abit burdensome :/

and i have 5 more weeks of my internship left. i'm not too sure if i want to continue the internship in Term 2 but it's most likely a no. not because i don't like the school, or teaching for that matter. it's just that i want to try something different. maybe relief teaching at a primary school? but then my mum advised me not to cos i'll still be with MOE but not under the internship so it might be quite strange and might not reflect so well on myself. cos it might seem as if i don't like the internship or the school or whatever. so i don't know. or maybe i might not do teaching anymore and try something completely different. since i have the time, i might as well experiment now. it's not all about the money luh, gaining experience is important too. and at least even if it's for one term, i tried my hands at teaching and so far, i must say i don't dislike it but more experience and skills will be needed for me to truly love it i think.

and ooh my hubby Seungri is no longer a baby anymore. he's all grown up and manly now! haha. no more strong baby, but strong MAN ^.^

YAY finished my lesson plan - finally! haha was so busy this weekend so had to do it last minute :/

ok so today was the BIG DAY. woke up at 5.30am after about 5 hours of sleep only and reached Lot One at around 6.45am but by then there was ALOOOOT of people there already. we investigated abit and found out that some people had numbers written on their hands and that there already 1000 people although so many people didn't have numbers too. but bcos the person writing the numbers had a number herself on her hand, we didn't believe that those were official numbers and so, me, Zimah, my sister and her two friends stood and waited outside the main entrance with a whole bunch of other people for the door to open. it was really packed and we stood, waiting for about an hour plus. we even ate breakfast while standing!

and then the door opened at 8plus and there was CHAOS. people were pushing and everyone was squashed like crazy. you can barely breathe, it was really scary - i never been so terrified i swear. it was MADNESS. but once i got through the door, i RAN like crazy up FOUR flights of escalators (which was not switched on yet). my legs felt so weak afterwards and i was running with a heavy bag which had my laptop in it :/ on the fourth floor, everyone started queuing up in front of the escalator leading to rooftop level. and there was chaos again cos people kept cutting the line. but all that was in VAIN! one of the official staff came and told us to go downstairs and come back up later in an orderly manner and after much deliberation, we decided to go down (also because the security was making us to anyway). then there was alot of confusion. we didn't know where to go or what to do. but we later found out that the official queue was downstairs and that the numbers on the hand did mean something. although there was already 1000 people, there were so many others who continued to queue just to try their luck. but the five of us decided to give up.

so we decided to go eat and do whatever and try to go see if we can go to the rooftop at 1pm to see them. me and Zimah did abit of shopping at Cotton On with the money that was supposed to be spent on SHINee's album haha. nothing eases pain like shopping! (: and then we just slacked at KFC and i managed to do a third of my lesson plan (:

found out later that they would be doing a 'live' broadcast of the fan-signing at the tv screen at level 1 - the one used to show movie trailers and timings. there were people waiting at level 4, trying to get in the rooftop still but we doubted that they could. so we found spots in front of the screen and decided to watch it from the screen. it's better than anything. it was really hot and we formed a big crowd near the MRT control station haha.

and so yeah, at 1.30pm, the event started but there was NO SOUND! ): there was a female emcee who talked damn long and then she interviewed the SHINee members but we couldn't hear anything. and then, the members went backstage and came out again for the fan-signing. they didn't perform ): but the camera did zoom in on the members so it's not too bad! they all looked sooooo HOT! :DD and btw, we found out that you could only get one member's signature if you got the album (it was random, you can only go to the member that is given to you on the album). quite wasted actually. and hmm from what i saw, you can't even take pictures with them or shake their hands but still seeing them upclose would be so awesome. damn those lucky 1000 fans. they deserved it i guess. heard that people who queued overnight were numbered like 400plus! crazy.

it was really tiring but it was a new experience for me. at least we still got to see them somewhat :D so now i know what to do if they come again or Big Bang or 2PM comes here. i will camp overnight for like two nights or more HAHA. and SHINee is performing, along with other artistes, tomorrow and the night after at the Esplanade but yeah i can't go and don't really want to. but here's to wishing the SHINee boys a wonderful performance, which no doubt they will be able to! :D

lack of sleep for the past two days is taking is toll on me. it has been a tiring yet really fun and exciting weekend. but there's school tmr! and i'm finally going to really teach tmr. hope all goes well. and i have to go for my first training at the CCA i'm assigned to - mass dance.

the weekend has been really tiring so far. tiring but FUN! :D

on friday evening, met up with Zimah to welcome SHINee to Singapore (: we had dinner at Ngee Ann City and then headed to Changi Airport. information we found from the net said that they would be arriving at T3 at 8.45PM but turns out that the information was not reliable. cos they arrived at T2 and their flight landed at 8.48PM. how did we find out? it's easy, you can't miss a crowd THAT big haha. but yeah that were ALOT ALOT of people and for the first time, i actually felt hot and suffocated at the airport. i mean, usually i would bring a jacket to the airport to keep myself warm so u can imagine how crazy it was there. waited for over two hours and they finally came out at 10 plus. it all ended in a matter of seconds cos they really ZOOMED past us and we were behind the huge crowd so we barely saw much. i managed to catch Taemin, Jonghyun, Key and Minho on video even if it was just a super short glimpse. watch the video here. then me and Zimah ran to catch final glimpses of them on the bus before they left. we managed to catch a glimpse of Onew (though i think after much analysis, i think it's just their manager HAHA) and Jonghyun who i think stood up and waved to the fans :D watch the video here. it was really chaotic and scary - almost stampede-like, i was afraid someone would get trampled over! but we should have been more patient and stayed behind when everyone else cleared cos apparently, Onew came out later than the rest and he was pushing a trolley. fans noticed that he was slightly limping so maybe he was injured and needed the trolley for support but he was so nice to smile and bow at the fans (: awwww hope you're doing well Onew oppa! (:

and today, i woke up at 6.30AM on a Saturday morning (after sleeping at 3AM to wait for the videos to finish uploading). how sad right ): cos i have driving lessons in the morning. and after the lessons, met up with Fiqah, Zimah and Nad. we celebrated Nad's belated birthday at Seoul Garden. it was CRAZY. i don't know why i was so HIGH must be bcos of the lack of sleep haha. i was like singing along to every Westlife song they played - i didn't know that i could remember all those lyrics! haha crazy but fun fun (:

and tmr, i'm meeting Zimah AGAIN (haha) at 630AM at Lot One in hopes of getting in the fan-signing event. let's hope we have better luck than at the airport HAHA

ok need to sleep now. i need to wake up at 530AM tmr :/ and actually i still have lesson plans to do but SHINee is worth all this definitely :D

today a friend of mine asked me for advice. he asked if he should go steady with his good friend (of the opposite gender of course). well they're not the best of friends but they're pretty close.

and i told him that if he was sure of his feelings and was willing to risk their friendship. if he would take up all the risks that came with crossing that thin line between friends and lovers. if he was sure that a relationship with her could last. if he was sure that even if it didn't, they could still go back to normal and remain as friends. i told him that if he was sure, he should go for it.

and then he asked me how could he be sure of all those things.

and i simply told him that you don't. you can never be sure.

i know it's silly cos it was over so long ago but i still think about it from time to time, wishing i could undo what i did. then maybe just maybe you'd still be my friend.

long day at work today cos there was staff meeting. but i didn't really do much heh. and to top it off, one of my students that i taught last week thought my sister was my DAUGHTER. man do i look that old? :/

and gosh i can't wait for SHINee to arrive in Singapore. i'm planning to go for their arrival at Changi Airport this Friday and their fan-signing session at Lot One this Sunday. i don't have money to go for the K-Drama OST Concert thingy that they're performing for (i only get my pay on 10 Feb i think) T.T and anyways, i'm not that interested in that anyway and it's on weekday nights so yeah. but yeah CAN'T WAIT CAN'T WAIT! :DD wonder when Big Bang and 2PM will ever come over to our little island city. i feel so happy! whee~ and i've got a couple of reasons to be so too (:

well, first, i passed my BTT yesterday :D after superrrrr loooooong wait just to sit for the test, i finally passed it. ok luh it's really not a big deal haha but i am glad i passed it or it would be another wait just to retake the test. and i booked my FTT somewhere in March so i have plenty of time to read the thick(er) book :/

and and yesterday was my last day teaching my two Sec 2 classes. ok i feel relieved, maybe not happy but i think i might miss them a teeny bit too although i only taught them for a week. especially, the Normal Academic class, they're a difficult bunch to manage but kinda fun to teach heh. so yeah though they make me lose my patience ALOT and make my throat sore from shouting at them, i'll miss teaching them. they can be really sweet at times like there's a girl who actually made a card for me cos i wasn't gonna relief their class anymore. i was really touched! ^^ though i'm disappointed that there's a student who thought i'm 25 years old! do i really look that old! :/

and i'm also relieved that i don't have to relief the upper sec classes for SS and History anymore although that was the original plan cos their teacher is going overseas for a week. so after stressing out, observing her lessons (when i should be observing my own mentor's lessons), reading through textbooks, going through teaching materials, i found out at the very last minute that i don't have to do it anymore. so a waste of effort? maybe. but i'm really quite relieved cos i don't think i'm ready to teach upper sec especially the graduating classes. it's too much of a burden especially for an untrained teacher like me. hmm but now i don't have anything to do... not sure if i'll even go back to observing lessons or what cos the other intern will start teaching her 'permanent' classes this week onwards. hmm...

what else am i happy about? oh yes, of course i'm happy after getting to see my SN4 friends today. it was a short meet up and a not-so-successful movie marathon but nonetheless, i am glad to meet my dear friends. it's been some time since our last meet up and i can't wait for the next one! :D

and yes, oh yes, LG Lollipop is FINALLY launched in Singapore today. haha lizhu is so upset over this. so yeah it costs, $428 without contract right and $98 with contract. but since my sister used my contract to get her Samsung Corby last year, i have to use my grandmother's contract haha. my family just can't wait for their own contracts to end before getting a new phone! but since two years isn't up yet, i'll have to pay $198 instead. not too bad right? BUT cos it's only the launching model (or whatever you call it), the phone only comes in pink for now ): and i don't want another pink phone. and the blue one is gorgeous so i didn't but it today ): all that excitement for nothing. haha but it's ok luh, it's not like i'm in a rush to change phones. and the person said that the shipment for the other colours should be within 1 to 2 months so i'll wait patiently. in fact, if it arrives after 15 March, it'll be better cos then i only have to pay $98 heh. but yeah, just happy that it's finally available here luh. even though it was launched in Korea early last year and there might be a Lollipop 2 released soon in Korea heh. and LIZHU, if you're reading this, STOP THINKING ABOUT GETTING A LOLLIPOP ALREADY! LOVE YOUR CHOCOLATE! HAHAHA

yup yup so those are some of the reasons why i'm happy haha. and it's nice to be happy. now if only jaebeom could return to 2PM by their next comeback, i would be ECSTATIC haha :DDD

updates, updates. but just a short one cos i'm really sleepy...

mini 6I reunion yesterday and it was fun! haha it's always fun to catch up on one another's lives and gossip about things then and now right? can't wait for the next outing.

back to work today. and was super tired. and just when i though i could go home early and sleep (cos my lesson ends at 1.05PM), i had to stay back for staff meeting till a little over 5.30PM. and no, i don't get paid extra for staying late :/

finally my first week of work is over. it has been quite tiring but like i mentioned, i guess it's mostly cos my body is just not used to being put into use so early in the morning and all heh. but honestly, the workload isn't that heavy - yet. and the best bit is that i've earned $300+ this week! haha money is my main motivation.

the first day of work was not exactly pleasant. i did nothing for 4 hours plus cos they actually forgot about me. i was waiting in the staff room, bored out of my wits, waiting and waiting to meet my mentor. it was really messy and all cos apparently my assigned my mentor isn't my mentor and whatnot. my mentors were also not briefed or even informed that i would be under their supervision so they kind of didn't know what to do! so on the first day all i did was observe one and a half lesson. it was really disorganised.

the second day was better although i only observed one lesson in the morning and slacked all the way till i went home. but that's cos my mentor only had one history lesson that day so it can't be helped and she didn't have anything else for me to do. and wednesday onwards is when my workload increased. i was told that i would have to relief two sec2 math classes cos one of the teachers would be on reservice till the end of next week. and yup i started teaching one sec2 express and another sec2 normal(acad) class since thursday. it was pretty nerve-wrecking and the first lessons were messy and disorganised. but by the second lessons on friday, i think i kind of got the hang of it. but oh wells, it's a good experience. i have to start actual teaching sooner or later. it's just that i started earlier when i'm supposed to be only observing these first two weeks. and once the teacher comes back from reservice, i'll have to relief a couple of upper sec classes, teaching SS and History. so it's pretty hectic for me now cos i have to follow the timetables of three teachers. if i'm not teaching math, i have to observe the lessons of the teacher i'll be relieving next and if not, i'll have to observe my mentor's lessons. so yeah. my timetable is usually packed but at least i end quite early - i usually leave around 2 plus. and again, the best part is the pay HAHA.

oh and forgot to mention my first relief experience on wednesday. i had to 'babysit' a sec4 normal class cos the teacher wasn't around. i didn't have to do any teaching, just had to ask the students to read some notes the teacher left them. but yeah it was the last lesson of the day, i think it was 3pm to 4pm? but yeah they didn't want to read their notes and i couldn't be bothered either! hah so i just let them talk among themselves and do whatever they want as long as they didn't make too much noise. like seriously who would read notes when the teacher isn't around during the last lesson of the day? i know i wouldn't heh. i even released them early! ok not a good example of good teacher heh.

yup so that about sums up my experience during my first week at school. can't say that i'm really looking forward to next week, but i'm not really dreading it either. so let's see how it goes (:

it's only the third day of work but i feel pretty tired already. maybe cos it's such a drastic change from slacking around all day. the first two days were still very slack but from today onwards, my workload has increased DRASTICALLY. but oh wells, i look forward to my pay very very much heh.

i'll update more about my first week at my teaching internship some other time. i really feel sleepy right now and i have other stuff to do too :/ wish me all the best people!

boohoo i splurged alot today T.T and ~~mostly~~ all on clothes and shoes to wear for my teaching internship, cos i realise that i have very little clothes that meet the 'teaching attire' criteria. ahh nevermind lissya, it's all a good investment, yes i hope. but it's like almost $200 gone in a day ):

anyway, i accompanied my brother for his orientation talk and cca fair. oh and my brother is in the same school that i am going to teach in, so is my sister :/ but yeah, just felt like i should drop by and see the school anyway. although my sister has been studying in the school for 3 years now, i have only been as far as outside the school gate until today haha. but yeah, i wanted to see how the environment is there and all. i also got to see my teacher mentor but i didn't approach him cos he was too busy in charge of the cca booth and all, so it's ok luh, i wanted to introduce him formally anyway. and in the midst of all that chaos during the cca fair, formal is anything but possible haha. monday is fast approaching... AH CRAP i really feel NERVOUS now :/

ok just a quick update cos i realised i have yet to post anything since the new year started heh.

finally ~~endured~~ completed two and a half days of my teaching internship workshop. it's been a looooong time since i sat down and really tried to focus on someone talking so you can imagine that a 9h long seminar/workshop was no easy feat for me to go through. but i did learn some useful things, though it does make me even more nervous for my internship :/ and i found out that i'll be teaching history (and maybe math) so i should start reading up soon, i don't think i remember my secondary school history syllabus thoroughly heh. and i hope, really hope, that i won't have to teach Sec 1 history cos i remember it to be anything but interesting! whatever it is, i'm having mixed feelings about this internship, though i have to go through it no matter what now. i know it won't be easy, but there's the pay to look forward to right? haha. FOUR more days to d-day! :/

ok what else have i been up to these days? oh i've started attending driving lessons at Bukit Batok Driving School and i've passed my BTE (: but gosh i still have to wait for 22 Jan for my BTT. can't wait to drive cos public transport costs me a bomb now that there's no more concession! hmm but i don't even have my own car yet haha.

oh yes, and i can't wait for 2PM's new album, set to be released this April! they will be wrapping up promotions for their album "01:59PM" this weekend. though i doubt that Jay will be back for their comeback cos it's too soon, i'm still having my fingers crossed! and to Jiyong oppa, all i can say is HWAITING! stay strong! we VIPs will always support you no matter what! :DD

oh wow i can't believe that this is my last post for this year. time really flies. it's hard to imagine that 2009 will be over in just a couple of hours. but i'm actually glad cos 2009 hasn't been an oh-so-great year for me.

2009 was the year of my A Levels, one of the most important examinations in my life and i hated it. all the mugging, the stress - i'm just really glad it's all over. and i'd rather not run through in my head all those painful memories. i do have some regrets with regards to the exam but it's not like i can do anything about it anymore. so let's just hope for the best - there's still time to pray hard! (:

2009 was also the year of many hardships for me, other than the academic. the year took out a lot from me both physically and emotionally. i remember the first half of the year where my physical endurance was put to the test and pushed to the limits when me and the other malay dancers worked hard for the syf. i won't lie, it wasn't easy and at some point, i wanted to give up. i remember my tailbone acting up again. it was just tiring and painful. but i'm glad that i pushed myself cos all those hardship was worth it and all those struggles are now part of a good memory. NJ Malay Dance will forever be in my heart! and yes, emotional struggles. don't we all emotionally ache every year? but this year was especially hard for me and it didn't help that i had to juggle so many other things. this year i put everything else over my own heart and yet i let that one incident trample all over it. it was hard and it will take me years to come to get over it. time heals what reason cannot right?

2009 wasn't all that bad though. there were happy moments too. and its all those hardships and pain that makes the few happy moments all the more happier (: 2009 was also the year i truly caught on with the korean wave haha. i mean i have always been interested in korean entertainment but this year, it really took over my life (?) last year if you asked me the latest english songs playing on the radio, i probably could answer but now, uhh i don't think so anymore haha. i really don't know when was the last time i listened to the radio. but hey, music's all the same right. it's just that i had a change of preference in genre (: and this may sound ironic but being crazy about korean entertainers and whatnot was probably what kept me sane this year. it was a good year - i fell so much more in love with Big Bang and 2PM too! YG & JYP family hwaiting! (: and i watched many many good dramas like 'Boys Over Flowers', 'My Fair Lady', 'The Man Who Can't Marry', 'Iris' (which I'm finishing soon!) and many more. and yet i still have so many more i want to watch! haha. 2009 was the year i truly fell in love with the k-wave :D

and 2009 was the year of many lasts too. for instance, the last time i ever have to wear a school uniform, the last time i ever have to sit for NAPFA, the last time i ever have to sit for a nationwide exam (hopefully :/) and and... you get the idea right?

and 2010 instead will be the year of many firsts. like the first time i will actually work (i didn't get a job after my O Levels). and i can't wait what else 2010 has in store for me. but i would like to take it nice and slow, and not let it whizz pass by like how 2009 has. and no new year's resolutions for me cos i shouldn't make promises i can't keep haha. and hopefully 2010 will be a year of more smiles than tears (:

Hellooooo! I've been M.I.A for quite some time well mostly because I haven't been up to much hence I have nothing much to update on. But gosh seriously, all I've been doing mostly for the past weeks is slack. I feel like such a pig. And even though I have all the time in the world, I can't bring myself to do abit of reading on my driving basic theory and whatnot. It's like my mind refuses to study anymore, and my concentration span is not more than 15mins. Urgh seriously Lissya, you can't slack forever :/

And I still haven't gotten a call from my teacher mentor for my teaching internship next year. I need to read through whatever subjects I'll be teaching cos I'm positive I've gotten rusty at them haha. But honestly, I secretly hope I won't get the call cos the thought of the internship kind of makes me nervous. I don't want to end up like one of those teachers who left because they couldn't take it T.T

Ok but there is one thing I'm proud of myself and that is I've finally brought myself to do some exercise on a regular basis, even if it's just 30mins a day. Hopefully it'll pay off (: Cos I think I've been eating too much and yet, barely done much physical movements haha. I don't wanna be a couch potato and grow fat!

Oh and I know that Singapore Idols Grand Finals is going on right now but eh I really couldn't care less. I know people who actually went to the Indoor Stadium to watch it live when I'm not even watching it on TV haha. I really don't get the hype anymore. Seriously, who and who is in the finals again? To whoever and whoever, good luck? Heh

Blergh ok that's all I have for today. I have a boring life right now but I am enjoying it nonetheless. Doing almost nothing is great :DD

urgh i'm having a splitting headache - since morning actually. and it won't go away ): and i don't see a reason why i should be having such headaches in the first place (they're very reminiscent of my mugging days haha) cos i don't do anything all day but slack. hmm.

oh gosh i am so hooked on to Iris right now. just a couple of episodes till the end and i can't wait. can't wait to see how this action-packed and suspense-filled and not forgetting hotness-overload drama will conclude. and there's gonna be a second season! though i doubt it'll be as good partly cos Lee Byung Hyun won't be acting in it ): my only complain about Iris - NOT ENOUGH TABI HOTNESS!! i want more T.O.P!! haha

i'm currently watching performances from tonight's first ever Melon Music Awards and they all look spectacular :DD loving 2NE1 and 2PM's performances~ wish i could have watched them live though. and congrats to the winners though it's soooo unfair that SNSD bagged 6 awards ): their fans must be crazy cos the winners are supposedly chosen solely by online votes. hmm nonetheless, 2NE1 won 2009 New Artist and G-Dragon won 2009 Album with 'Heartbreaker' (despite all the controversies, GD still rocks!) :DD and G-Dragon, 2PM and 2NE1 also won 2009 Top 10 :D CONGRATSSS!

i'm utterly disappointed myself. remember me blogging about some regrets i had during prom night? well i just found out something to add on to the regrets. my reluctance or rather stubbornness to do certain things has really left me disappointed with myself, losing not one but two chances. oh wth, no point crying over spilt milk even if it feels like the only thing i can do now. i guess it's true what they say: "always regret the things you did do, never the things you didn't"

ok that aside, i'm back from my short trip overseas (: i was in Phuket from Wednesday to Friday afternoon. my family really had no intention of going to Phuket but my mum won some award from Singapore's Woman Weekly magazine and the prize was a 3D2N stay at Twin Palms Resort in Phuket. truth be told, we would not be able to afford to stay just one night in a normal room there which costs about S$500+?! but because of my mum receiving that award, we could very luxuriously stay at a residence suite (: it's like two storeys with a private pool and we even have some sort of a personal butler to attend to our every whims. COOOOL right? and we even had a private complimentary breakfast where the waitress would attend to you all the time. ahh what a life! it's really a once in a lifetime experience which i thoroughly enjoyed UNLESS i get to marry a rich husband then i can stay in the most expensive hotels all over the world HAHA. and most of our time in Phuket was just spent in the hotel room though we did do abit of shopping and rode on the Tuk Tuk haha really interesting! :D

then on Friday, since we couldn't lengthen our stay in Phuket for obvious reasons, we took a flight to KL. stayed at Grand Millenium hotel and not to say that the place was bad cos it was nice and comfy but after staying at a residence suite, nothing can quite compare haha. but yeah did nothing much in KL but shop and slack in the hotel. and we visited some sort of a chocolate factory which made coconut chocolates and even durian chocolates! haha there was really real durian in the chocolates and they're super yummy but i have to avoid them for the time being cos chocolates would just further irritate my sore throat ):

yup so that about sums up my short holiday. though short, it's always nice to get away from Singapore (: but now that i'm back, i feel like i need to do lots of stuff. i need to prepare for my teaching internship. i haven't read any of the documents and whatnot, plus i missed the briefing. reading feels so hard now haha. i feel like my brain hasn't been functioning at its fullest since the end of alevels LOL. plus i ~~want~~ need to do shopping! but i have no money! i need to find a way to earn money fast. boohoos. and most importantly, i need to get well soon! i hate being sick ):

haha ok i couldn't resist cos i won't have internet access for the next four days so i should cherish every last minute i have with the internet. i sound so pathetic haha. and besides, i'm done with packing so why not right? (:

but honestly i don't have anything to update on. hmm yeah looking through prom pics on facebook right now. everyone looks pretty (and handsome) haha! looking through the pictures, i realise that i don't remember much of the prom itself other than all the picture-taking haha.

and yup yup i'll be flying off at around 12 or 1 tomorrow. like i said, don't miss me too much (though i know it might be hard haha). and when i get back, i want lots and lots of meet ups people! :DD till then, cyaaaaa!

ok i can't update much cos i really need to start packing. oh btw i'll be overseas tomorrow and will be back on Sunday. i'll be going to Phuket for 2 days and then flying off to KL for another 2. i won't be gone for too long so don't miss me too much :D

and ok so yesterday was the long-awaited(?) prom. as always, the build-up to prom was chaotic what with rushing to do makeup and all but i think we (me, joycelyn and lizhu) looked quite pretty in the end right? haha pathetic me, i'm praising myself. and ok the prom itself wasn't too bad actually. i did enjoy myself though it was really tiring for me somehow. and it made me realise that although i won't miss NJC per se but i'll most definitely miss my friends and classmates ): then blablabla, i have no time and am too lazy to describe in detail what happened throughout the night. and i won't be uploading any pictures here, simply cos i have none haha. didn't bring my camera cos i was too lazy, i shall just go facebook and steal from others heh. so people, start uploading prom pics A.S.A.P ok! so prom was enjoyable and quite memorable although everything ended in a whirlwind i felt. but i didn't go to the post-prom party. instead, i went with joycelyn to Starbucks and we just chilled. haha it was a nice and quiet post-prom for me (: but i did have one small regret after prom ended. although i kept pondering about it, i think i'm quite over it now. urgh i ought to be over it. oh wells.

prom is tomorrow. and honestly i'm not really excited for it. it's just another event for me unlike my last prom where i was more pumped up for it. oh wells. let's just enjoy my last prom (:

and oh gosh i've been shopping uncontrollably the past few days. i buy anything that i like almost spontaneously. must be because i've been too deprived of shopping for so long. but now i'm almost broke ): aahhh need to control my spending. and need to find a way to earn some cash. hmmm.

and i'm so jealous! i was watching some fancams and pictures of G-Dragon's first solo concert 'Shine A Light' held yesterday and today. tho they were of horrible quality (especially since fancams are supposedly not allowed), it still looked awesome! i wish i was there ): and the performance for 'Breathe' was SEX! and i mean it almost literally haha. he even brought out a bed and all.. tsk tsk naughty naughty GD haha. its so like him to test the boundaries of a concert but i'm surprised that he didn't get flamed for it or smth. tho i'm sure it broke the hearts of the fangirls for sure. how could you do that jiyong oppa? :D

oh and the second day of the concert, fans were more lucky cos Se7en made a special appearance after being away from the Kpop scene for almost 2 years. and he looks good :D and also, Big Bang made a special appearance too for the last encore. they performed "Lies" and "Last Farewell". the best part? Seungri hinted news about an upcoming Big Bang concert which was confirmed by GD and YG officials :D and so it has been confirmed that Big Bang plans to hold a concert in January 2010 named "Big Show" and they will hold a annual concert every year in January. plus, it's also confirmed that they will be releasing a new album next summer. though it's a long wait, i'm sure it will be worth the wait. i love their solo activities and all but i love it more when they're together (: ahhh yay yay! i'm so excited! more excited for their album than the concert since i can't attend it anyway unless someone wants to sponsor me air tickets to Korea? heh

omfg. i am currently superbly grossed out. beyond words. just read an article about a fan-letter that 2PM's Taecyeon received. nothing weird about that right? after all, fan letters are just letters in which fans express their ~~obsession~~ passion for their favourite celebrities right? that may be true but this fangirl took things way out of hand. she actually sent a fan letter that is not written in normal ink but with her own blood. and not normal blood but her monthly period blood (sprinkled with some pubic hair). eww. and what's worse was that after receiving comments that it was fake, she actually put up a picture of her bloody pad online. gosh i'm glad that article censored the picture, i am too grossed out to view the uncensored picture even though i'm a girl myself. ewwwwwww. that's just too gross. poor taecyeon oppa ): don't worry i won't ever to that to you! (;

ok back to normal non-gross reality. well been out alot the past few days. i feel like an animal that has just been set free haha. done quite abit of shopping but mostly from prom stuff. and i've finally bought my dress, shoes and accessories. and just that cost me about $150 already ): prom shopping really makes you broke ): i didn't even buy a handbag/clutch and i'm not going to 'cause i can't be bothered and i want to save money. well it's an improvement from my sec4 prom where my dress alone costs $100plus. and i'm really satisfied with what i bought so all's well. and plus my mum said she would sponsor about half of my dress :D

ahh i actually feel very drained from all that shopping. my body still needs to be physically adjusted to all that walking around again heh. i think i'll spend the next couple of days just slacking at home, watching tv and whatnot. and i did promise myself that i should learn cooking from my grandmother. i need to be able to cook if i ever wanna get married haha.

ooh ooh and i was watching Let's Go! Dream Team Season 2 just now and i was thinking if i could choose my own dream team, it'd comprise of my hubby (of course), Seungri, and T.O.P from Big Bang, Nichkhun from 2pm, JoongHoon from FT Island, Min Ho from SHINee (who's already in the current dream team so it's already 1/6 complete hehs) and Boys Over Flowers' own Lee Min Ho :D wow that would be heaven! imagine this: (oh gosh i'm already drooling!)

at long last, freedom.

although the reality of it hasn't fully sunk in yet, i can already feel it. no more mugging till the wee hours of the morning. no more back aches and sore tailbones for sitting at my desk for too long. no more sacrificing valuable leisure time and my favourite tv shows just to cram information into my brain. no more being cooped in the house and feeling so isolated from the outside world. no more. no more of all that. at least for a good six months. because i'm finally free (:

last paper today was... blergh let's not talk about it. but after that, went out for a mini celebration with my classmates (: and may i advice you, do not go to the pizza hut at lucky plaza, at least not during lunch time on weekdays heh. and watched 2012! well actually, i wanted to watch it with my sister but we decided not to cos i heard from some people that it isn't that good. but but i don't regret watching it at all! i really enjoyed it though it might have been a bit too much excitement for me, especially when the big As is finally over (: though it was a super mini celebration, it felt good to be out having fun again. felt like eons since i last left my house without feeling guilty hehs. and and i need to shop for prom stuff! ahh i feel quite lazy actually ):

and speaking of favourite tv shows, i can finally watch (with ease) 'Iris' on KBS World! it's like total hotness with stars like T.O.P, Lee Byung Hun, Kim Tae Hee and more. plus i looovveeee watching spy/action type dramas! wheeee~ and i want to find more k-dramas to watch too! heck i even have the time to rewatch old dramas haha. oh oh and anyone wanna watch with me 'Ninja Assassin' which is released in cinemas tomorrow!! it stars Rain (total hotness)!! ahh thinking of his hot bod is driving me nuts heh.

ok i honestly feel supppppeeerrr sleepy right now. slept for only two hours the night before, mostly cos i procrastinated with mugging for the last paper haha. but maybe for once i should sleep early. i really can't rmb the last time i actually slept before 12. maybe today will be the first with many more to come hehe.

shit i should have been studying today for my last paper. but i didn't do very much. ahh i can't help but slack ): ok lissya no more slacking tmr. it's already the final sprint, the final countdown. hwaiting!! :D

and gosh MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards) rocked my socks!! watched it live on Channel V and it was beyond awesome!! :D 2NE1, G-Dragon and 2PM won the big three daesang awards! AWESOME!! :D some highlights of the show (for the fellow k-pop lovers!) :

2NE1 performed a stellar musical-type performances and won FOUR awards - Music Portal Award, Best New Female Artist, Best MV for 'Fire' and Song of the Year for 'I Don't Care'). that's like awesome for a rookie group! 2NE1 JJANG! :D

G-Dragon and Taeyang performed together as a first. they performed 'Korean Dream' which was freaking brilliant :D and they also performed their solo songs - 'Heartbreaker' and 'Where U At' and ' Wedding Dress'. also, G-Dragon won Album of the Year despite all the plagiarism controversies, and the album being no longer suitable for minors. GDYB loves! :DD

2PM also performed 'Heartbeat' and for the first time as a six-member group, 'Again & Again' but they left Jaebeom's spot empty, definitely reaffirming that no one can replace their leader. awwww... also there was a special stage between Ivy and Nichkhun, which was resonant of last year's stage between Lee Hyori and T.O.P but thank GOODNESS that Ivy did not kiss my cute and innocent Khun or i would knock her head off. haha and 2PM won Best Male Artist as well as Artist of the Year. it was so heartwarming yet sad ):

the DBSK trio (Junsu, Jaejoong and Yoochun) and was present too, and they received the Best Representative for Asia Award on behalf of the group. it was heartwarming too to see them on stage, stating that DBSK will always be a five-member group. they were present despite SM boycotting MAMA, and now SM is being a bitch and saying that the three had no right to receive the award on behalf of the group and whatnot. like wth. let's just hope that things will get better for them (:

and there were a whole lot of other cool performances too! :DD

so what if the economics papers were both screwed like shit? so what if it was the most horrible thing i've ever sat for? it's over. and that's all that matters. let bygones be bygones. there's no point crying over spilt milk.

and most importantly, i only have ONE freaking paper left! :D just 5 more days till freedom baby! gosh words cannot describe how much i want all this to be over. and thank goodness the last paper is lit - smth that's at least not so content heavy. CAN'T WAIT CAN'T WAIT!! (:

ok this should be my last post for quite awhile, maybe a week or more seeing that there's only FOUR more days till the START of my alevels. gosh time passes by really really fast. and there's still so much more left untouched. i honestly don't feel quite prepared for the exams yet. shit. and i know that i should have done much more the past few weeks but i have no idea why progress has been slower than a snail's pace until recently :| but oh wells, gotta move on and make the best of what few days i have left. and i must look forward to the fact that there's only TWENTY more days till FREEDOMMMMMM! :DDD

ok some updates before i descend into hell next week...

well i got accepted for the MOE Teaching Internship Programme though i'm ~~very very~~ a tad disappointed that i didn't get posted to BPGHS ): i really wanted to go back to BP ): ): and qiaowen, it's SO unfair that u got posted to BP instead of me! hmph! haha but i should be happy that i at least got accepted even with crappy prelim results (: and yeah so i got posted to my sister's school which is Christ Church Sec Sch. whoopie doo. i had no idea that the area you lived in influenced which school you would get THAT MUCH. oh wells.

and i'm relieved that the k-drama that i've been watching the past weeks is finally over. not that i didn't enjoy watching it, it's just that it would have been a major distraction if it was still airing during my alevels period. and yup the ending is really nice! its definitely different and unique compared to the endings of other dramas. i recommend you to watch it, maybe after exams? haha. it's called 'My Fair Lady' and god knows when it will air in S'pore, if it even does that is haha. LOVE IT!

that's what the quote of the day was for yesterday according to my daily calendar. like what the shit. why would i ever want to savour these torturous days? yes they better not come again but i would rather get it over and done with than to savour it. heh.

right. just 10 more days till the start of my alevels. (oh and 12 more days to the premiere of Iris on KBS World! can't wait tho i can't watch! haha random) mugging's not done yet. but i believe that i can get through this! (: don't give up lissya! and same goes to all you lot whose suffering too! (: we can do it! hwaiting! :D

oh and congrats to seungri oppa for getting accepted by Chung-Ang University! :D haha he (and SNSD's Yuri -blergh-) got accepted and will be attending classes in 2010 as freshmen. i should now be inspired by to work hard for alevels so that i can get into a good university just like him right? must follow in the footsteps of my darling :D
